I FOUND MYSELF IN YOU

 

 

 

 

 

When I didn’t know what to do

When I didn’t have a clue

Yes I found myself in you

 

I found myself in love

I found myself in forgiveness

I found myself

Everywhere that there was kindness

 

I found myself

In the heart of a child

I found myself in the smile of a friend

I found myself in the stranger walking by

For God’s sake

We don’t even know

Where they might have been

 

When I didn’t know what to do

When I didn’t have a clue

Yes

I found myself in you

 

I found myself

In the so-called “losers” of this world

I found myself in you

 

You have to remember

There for the grace of God go I

I found myself in you

 

So when I didn’t know what to do

When I didn’t have a clue

Yes

I found myself in you

 

I found myself

In every other human being

In this world

I found myself in you

 

I found myself in you

Ps        If you are LOST on this highway of life-a great reading is Luke 15

            Where Jesus tells the Pharisees 3 parables when they ask him

            Why he welcomes sinners and eats with them

 

            He tells the story of ONE LOST SHEEP

            He tells the story of ONE LOST COIN

            And he tells the story of ONE LOST SON

            And his LOVING FATHER

 

And in Matthew 9:12—Jesus tells the Pharisees when questioned

About eating with sinners:

 

“It is not the healthy who need a Doctor

But the sick”

 

But go and learn what this means

 

“I desire mercy not sacrifice”

 

For I have not come

To call the righteous-but sinners”

 

No matter where you are on this journey we call life

No one is so far gone as to be lost to God

 

Don’t give up on yourself because

GOD WILL NEVER EVER GIVE UP ON YOU

            

ONLY IN JESUS!=DOES HUMAN SUFFERING MAKE SENSE

 

 

 

 

 

 

ONLY IN JESUS!=Does

(HUMAN SUFFERING Make Sense)

 

HUMAN SUFFERING=Does not make any sense=Yet

We ALL=have to ENDURE IT

 

It doesn’t make ant sense=When we are SUFFERINING

PHYSICALLY=or have an illness=It doesn’t make ANY SENSE

If we are suffering financially=IF we are being honest

 

And it doesn’t make any sense=WHEN we suffer=in

RELATIONSHIPS=when we LOSE someone in death=or

FOR any other reason

 

IN FACT=there is=ONLY ONE SUFFERING=in all

Of human history=that makes any sense=AT ALL=and

That is=THE SUFFERING of Jesus Christ

 

For=he was DOING IT=for all of us=He was TEACHING US

If he could do it=We can do it too=We can do it too=IF

It is with Jesus=ONLY IN JESUS!

 

“Yet=it was the Lord’s will=TO CRUSH him=and

Cause him=TO SUFFER=and though the Lord=Makes his life

an offering for sin=he will see

 

His offspring=and prolong his days=and the WILL

Of the Lord=will prosper=In his hand”                                                                                                  Isaiah 53:10

 

“He then began to teach them=the Son of Man=

MUST SUFFER many things=and be rejected by the elders=

The chief priests=and the teachers=of the law=and that

He must killed=and after three days=RISE AGAIN”                                                              Mark 8:31

 

That is right=my friends=Jesus teaches us=That OUR

SUFFERING=makes sense=ONLY IN HIM!=Our suffering

By itself=SERVES NO PURPOSE

 

Our suffering=makes sense=ONLY IN JESUS!=Only

By SHARING our sufferings=with Jesus can our suffering

DO any good=for anyone

 

But when we=SHARE our suffering=with Jesus=He

WALKS WITH US=He will take our sufferings=and HELP OTHERS

Our suffering=makes senses=ONLY IN JESUS!=When we

UNIFY our sufferings with his=for we NEVER WALK ALONE=We

Walk with God=We walk with Jesus=ONLY IN JESUS!

 

“Teach them=to your children=Talking about them=when

You sit at home=and when YOU WALK=along the road=when

You lie down=and when you get up”                                                                                            Deuteronomy 11:19

 

“Come descendants of Jacob=LET US WALK=in

The light of the Lord”                                                                                                                    Isaiah 2:5

 

“Stand at the crossroads=and look=ask for the ancient

Paths=Ask where the good way is=and WALK IN IT=and

You will find rest=for your souls”                                                                                                   Jeremiah 6:16

 

My dear brothers and sisters=ALWAYS REMEMBER that

HUMAN SUFFERING=in and of itself=makes NO SENSE

At all

 

ONLY IN JESUS!=does it make sense=Only by SHARING it

With Jesus=and UNIT ING IT=Can our suffering make any sense=Can

Any good come out of it=ONLY IN JESUS!=can we FIND

REASON=for human suffering=and never walk alone!

 

“Whoever dwells=in the shelter of=THE MOST HIGH=       

WILL REST=in the shadow=Of the Almighty”                                                                                   Psalm 91:1

 

“Come to me=All you who are weary and burdened=and I

WILL GIVE YOU REST”                                                                                                                           Matthew 11:28

 

So REST=In Jesus my friends=SHARE your sufferings with Jesus

For the SAKE of others=for HUMAN SUFFERING=makes no sense

Without him=ONLY IN JESUS!=can we ever rise again

 

In Jesus’ name=and IN the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=forever living

2,000 years ago=THE CHURCH=was growing

ESCALATING in numbers=in Antioch=even among

The Gentiles=Because of the SHARING=of the

GOOD NEWS=from people like our Brother Barnabas

 

WHO IS Barnabas?=If you don’t know=You will KNOW

A little more=after today=He always ENCOURAGED OTHERS

To come to God and Jesus=Like we all should do=Even

IN today’s world=ENCOURAGING OTHERS=to COME

To God and Jesus Christ

 

“When Barnabas ARRIVED=and saw the GRACE of God=

He rejoiced=and ENCOURAGED THEM ALL…….”                                                                      Acts 11:23

 

Here are some CLUES=about our brother Barnabas=Who

Was an ENCOURAGING of others=like WE=all should be

 

“Joseph=A Levite=from Cyprus=whom the apostles

Called Barnabas(which means=’SON OF ENCOURAGEMENT’)=

Sold a field he owned=and brought the money=and put it

At the apostles’ feet”                                                                                                                              Acts 4:36-37

 

“He(Barnabas)=was a good man=FULL of the Holy Spirit=

Spirit=and faith=and a great number of people=Were brought

To the Lord”                                                                                                                                          Acts 11:24

 

I have a FRIEND=named Nicholis W=who calls himself=

THE ENCOURAGEANAIRE==Who is a GREAT ENCOURAGER

Of others=Just like Barnabas was=Just like we all should be=WE

Should ALL=encourage others=to COME TO the Holy Father God=

And Jesus=Every day of our lives=I call Nicholis every day=TO ENCOURAGE

HIM=just like he always=DOES FOR ME

 

“You Lord=Hear the desire of the afflicted=YOU ENCOURAGE THEM=

And you=Listen to their cry”                                                                                                            Psalm 10:17

 

“Therefore=ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER=with

These words”                                                                                                                                    1 Thessalonians 4:18

 

“BUT ENCOURAGE=one another daily=as long as=

It is called ‘TODAY’=so that=none of you=May be hardened

By sin’s deceitfulness”                                                                                                                        Hebrews 3:13

 

Today=We NEED to ask ourselves=IF we are ENCOURAGING

Others daily=Are we BEING DILIGENT=in our PRAYERS for others=

Who really need them today

 

Are you SHARING=the WORD of God=generously

With others?=And are you=using GOD’S WORDS=to

Help someone with them?=ENCOURAGING OTHERS!=Encourage

Someone=with LOVE TODAY=with your GENEROSITY of prayer

 

“Good will come=to those=who are GENEROUS=and lend freely=

Who conduct their affairs=with justice”                                                                                            Psalm 112:5

 

“THE GENEROUS=will themselves be blessed=for they

Share their food=with the poor”                                                                                                         Proverbs 22:9

 

“Command them to be good=to be rich in good deeds=and

TO BE GENEROUS=and willing to share”                                                                                            1 Timothy 6:18

 

SO BE GENEROUS=be kind=and ENCOURAGING to others

In thought=word=and deed=Like Barnabas was=Like Nicholis

THE ENCOURAGEANAIRE is=and so MANY of my FAMILY and friends

Have been with me=And DO NOT DISCOUNT=the gift of PRAYER

We give to others=THAT IS ENCOURAGING TOO

 

Let us GIVE THANKS=to those GENEROUS ENCOURAGERS

Of others=in today’s world=and MAY we ourselves TRY and

ENCOURAGE someone and PRAY=for them today=WHERE would be

Without the GIFT OF ENCOURAGEMENT?

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of OUR HOLY FATHER GOD=who is

CONSTANTLY ENCOURAGING us all=to be OUR BEST!

We’re just a step away from another chance

Another step away

We just need one lucky break

And we’ll be on our way

 

We’ve been patiently awaiting another chance

But we never really thought that it would come

It’s surprising what patience can do

And what it adds up to in the final sum

 

We’ve been knocked down again and again

Never thought that we could get back up

Thought it was the end

But somehow we stuck it out

And we are on the mend

 

We’re just a step away from another chance

Another step away

We just need one lucky break

And we’ll be on our way

 

We’ve been dreaming of the challenge

And dreaming of the fight

Just waiting for another chance

And keeping our goals and dreams in sight

We want to come all the way back

In every walk of life

And keep going on and on

Like we were never gone

 

And……..-

NEW LIFE=FOR ALL!=Who Want to COME to them

 

“God has then granted LIFE-GIVING repentance=to

THE GENTILES TOO”                                                                                                                   Acts 11:18

 

The JEWISH APOSTLES=of Jesus=and Luke=SHARED

The good news=of God’s and CHRIST’S LIFE=for ALL

Of us=So that even today=We have the Catholic Church

And we have=CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY CHURCHES=of

God and Jesus=ALL around the world=There is

NEW LIFE FOR ALL!=of us=Who Want to COME to God

 

“He put=A NEW SONG=in my mouth=a hymn of praise

To our God=Many will see=and fear the Lord=and put

Their trust in him”                                                                                                                      Psalm 40:3

 

“What has been=will be again=What has been done=

Will be done again=there is NOTHING NEW=Under the sun”                               Ecclesiastes 1:9

 

That is right=MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS=there is

NOTHING NEW=in this world=EXCEPT for the RESURRECTION

Of Christ Jesus=It never happened before=and it will

 

NEVER happen again=He is=THE ONE MAN=in history=who

Has EVERLASTING LIFE=and we will HAVE

 

EVERLASTING LIFE with him=in heaven=and with

The HOLY FATHER GOD=if we believe=and put OUR FAITH

IN HIM=Putting our life=In his hands=and finding

 

That=THERE IS=NEW LIFE=FOR US ALL!=Who want to COME

To Jesus=and the Holy Father God!

 

“See I will create=NEW HEAVENS=and a NEW earth=The

Former things=will not be remembered=Nor will they

Come to mind”                                                                                                                              Isaiah 65:17

 

“The days are coming’=declares the Lord=’When

I will make=A NEW COVENANT=with the people of Israel=

AFTER the Resurrection=the APOSTLES knew=they had

To get the NEWS OUT=to everyone=The good news=that

Has CREATED the Catholic and CHRISTIAN CHURCHES

Of today

 

And it is=UP TO US TODAY=the 21^st century apostles and

Disciples=of CHRIST=to keep getting the news out=It is

Our mission=to let EVERYONE KNOW=that there is=NEW LIFE

FOR ALL!=in Christ Jesus=and the HOLY FATHER GOD!

 

Jesus is STILL LIVING TODAY=and so is THE HEAVENLY FATHER

God=in each and everyone of us=NEW LIFE FOR ALL!=Who want

To COME to them

“I am the GATE=whoever ENTERS through me=will be saved=

They will come in=and go out=and find pasture”                                                                   John 10:9

 

COME AND ENTER=the Holy Father God’s and Jesus’ KINGDOM

Today=There is=NEW LIFE=FOR ALL!=who believe in them=and find

THE GLORY OF GOD

WHY ARE WE SO LUCKY

 

 

 

 

 

Today is a great day

To be alive

The sun is shining

And we feel good

 

But for many of us

In this world

It is going to be their last day

They don’t know it

But we will die

Both saints and sinners

 

But it is also a day

Where many children are being born

All over the world

 

There is a 1 in 20 chance

That we will be born in America

 

Why are we so lucky

 

Most people are born to

Non-Christian families

Muslim, Buddhist, etc.,

 

Why are we so lucky

 

In India

You are lucky to live

To be a year old

Or if you are lucky

You might live

And just be sick

Your entire life

 

Why are we so lucky

 

I don’t know the answer

But I do know

Where much is given

Much is expected

 

I do know

God gave us a tremendous opportunity

God gave us a gift-LIFE

 

What we do with our life

Is our gift back to God
