Ps  I have never been able to accomplish much in this world, by this world’s

      Standards, but if this book ever makes it to print, it will be proof, living

      Proof, that if you continuously surrender your heart, mind, and soul to

      God, that he can make something of your life, even when you can’t.

Before Jesus

A disciple of John’s

 

One day

Jesus was walking

Beside the Sea of Galilee

He saw two brothers

Who were fishermen

And he said to them

“Come follow me

And I will make you fishers of men”

 

They immediately

Laid down their poles

And decided

To follow this mysterious man

 

Later on

Andrew was the one

Who found

The little boy

With the two fish

And the 5 barley loafs

And immediately

A miracle was done

 

After Jesus’ Resurrection

We don’t know where

But we know

Andrew preached God’s word

Wherever he could

Until he

Died a martyr’s death

 

Today there

Are many churches

Named in his honor

And he is

The patron Saint

Of Scotland and Russia

 

Tradition states

That if you say a certain prayer

Fifteen times between today and Christmas  

A miracle

May be possible

To most people=is=HOW MANY FOLLOWERS that they have=

Celebrities=Politicians=You and me=we are ALL concerned=

About our FOLLOWERS=but that should NOT=be the case

 

Some people=have many followers=who HANG ON=to

Every single WORD=of the celebrities=Me=I am JUST FOLLOWING

Jesus=HANGING on HIS every word=of the NEW TESTAMENT=of

THE BIBLE=and even the WORDS of=the old testament PROPHETS=

“He answered=’See that you NOT be deceived=For many will come=

IN MY NAME=saying=’I am he’=and=’The time has come’=Do not

Follow them”                                                                                                                                                 Luke 21:8

 

AMID=all the BOISTEROUS rantings=in today’s world=Jesus=

Stands by=quietly and GENTLY=I am TURNING AWAY=from all of

The other crazy rantings=from all the people=SEEKING to shock=

Seeking=to lure=to steal=and CORRUPT US=Me=I am JUST FOLLOWING

JESUS!=to the ends of this earth=Yes=that KIND=that gentle=

That humble Jesus!

 

“Do NOT FOLLOW=the crowd in doing wrong=When you give TESTIMONY=

In a lawsuit=so not pervert justice=By siding with the crowd=and

Do not show favoritism=to a poor person=In a lawsuit”                                                               Exodus 23:2

 

“Surely your goodness=and love=WILL FOLLOW ME=all the days

Of my life=and I will dwell=in the House of the Lord=forever”                                                      Psalm 23:6

 

“Then=Jesus said to his disciples=’Whoever wants to be my disciple=

This IS the MAN=who stands with PASSION=and says=”FOLLOW ME”=

I am=JUST FOLLOWING JESUS=I Hope that you are too=”FOLLOW the

Way of love=and eagerly desire=gifts of the Spirit=especially prophecy”                     1 Corinthians 14:1

 

“FOLLOW GOD’S EXAMPLE=therefore as dearly loved children=and walk

IN the way of love=Just as Christ loved us=and gave himself UP for us=as

A fragrant offering=and sacrifice to God”                                                                                             Ephesians 5:1

 

“These are those who did=NOT defile themselves=with women=for they

Remained virgins=THEY FOLLOW the lamb=Wherever he goes”                                          Revelation 14:4

 

So I ASK YOU=I ask me=I ask everyone=WHO are you following?

THE BIBLE=the TEACHINGS of Jesus=the MOST IMPORTANT things=

TODAY=ON THANKSGIVING=it is important=to RECOGNIZE=

Who we are=and GIVE THANKS for EVERYTHING that has gone=

Into making US=who we are=IN this world=the GOOD and the bad=

For the bad=plays a ROLE too=in developing us=GIVING THANKS

For=ALL the events in our life=Of my life=CELEBRATING the

FAITHFULNESS of our God=”…….His FAITHFULNESS=to all Generations”        Psalm 100:5

 

The LAST YEAR=has been a CHALLENGE for me=It really TESTED ME=

Three intestinal obstructions=NOT knowing if=I would live or die=and

A 1500 mile from the warm weather down SOUTH=into a little

COLDER CLIMATE up North=STILL making adjustment=With the HELP

Of our Holy Father God=Jesus=family and friends

 

But=ALL IS GOOD=for we are to GIVE THANKS=for ALL the events of

Our life=the GOOD and the bad=they BOTH SERVE=to make us into

Who we are=CELEBRATING LIFE=Be THANKFUL=give thanks to

The Lord ABOVE=for all of your CIRCUMSTANCES=”SERVE the Lord

With fear=and CELEBRATE his rule=with trembling”                                                                Psalms 2:11

 

“Enter his gates=WITH THANKSGIVING=and his courts with praise=Give

THANKS to him=and praise his name”                                                                                          Psalm 100:4

 

“But THANKS=be to God!=He gives us the VICTORY=Through our Lord

Give thanks=for ALL the events=of your life=the GOOD and the bad=They

BOTH go into making you=WHO YOU ARE=with the GOOD LORD=and

With others=WE CELEBRATE=with assurance=with CONFIDENCE=and

With courage=as well as=THE GRACE OF GOD=as we see THE PURPOSE=

GOD’S PURPOSE=for all the EVENTS of our life

And so today=MY dear friends=MY DEAR BROTHERS and SISTERS in Christ=

We give THANKS=for all the EVENTS of our life=and we LOOK for the PURPOSE

In each of them=WE give THANKS for the GRACE of God on life=we give

Thanks=for our FAMILIES=for our FRIENDS=and our very LIVES=and

We pray for=That ASSURANCE and confidence=as well as courage=to

SEE GOD’S PURPOSE=for all the events=of our life=both good and bad

 

Giving thanks =for ALL the events in our life=SEEING God’s purposes=and

Being THANKFUL for them=”Rejoice always=Pray continually=GIVE THANKS

In all circumstances=for this is God’s will for you=In Christ Jesus”                            1 Thessalonians 5:18               

 

“Therefore=since we are receiving=a kingdom that cannot be shaken=Let us

BE THANKFUL=and so worship God acceptably=With reverence and awe=

HAPPY THANSGIVING!=all my brothers and sisters!=for the HOLY FATHER GOD

With a severe or a chronic illness

The best policeman=or fireman=Teacher=nurse Doctor=or

Minister or priest=But we NEED to ESTEEEM to a HIGHER LIFE=

That is=WHERE THE GREATNESS LIES=”MY KINGDOM=does

Our Holy Father God=Our Savior Jesus=asks us to LIFT

Our minds HIGHER=to ascribe to=A higher source of LIVING=Just like

Our Jesus=Just like OUR CHRIST THE KING=”For this is what=the

High and exalted One says=-------He who lives forever=whose name is

Holy=’I live

 

In a HIGH and holy place=but also with the one=Who is contrite

And lowly in spirit=to revive the spirit of the lowly=and to revive

Don’t get me wrong=IT IS GREAT=To have success on earth too=to

ACHIEVE worldly success=But it is even better=to FOLLOW the

Footsteps=of the ONE who was=Who is Jesus Christ=WHERE THE

GREATNESS LIES=Jesus=the one=who is TRULY GREAT=the ONE

Who set the EXAMPLE=with his self-sacrificing love=Jesus=”Great is the Lord=

And Most worthy of praise=HIS GREATNESS=no one fathom”                                                       Psalm 145:3

 

“Who is this=Robed in splendor?=Striding forward in the GREATNESS=

Of hi strength?”                                                                                                                                               Isaiah 63:1

 

THE GREATNESS of Jesus=in HUMAN self-sacrificing love=It is

SHOWN ON THE CROSS=where Jesus shows his TRUE GREATNESS=

THE CROSS=where Jesus gives himself up=for ALL OF HUMANITY=Ask

Yourself=do you want to be TRULY GREAT TOO?=Will you give

Yourself up=for others?=That is where true greatness lies=WHERE

THE GREATNESS LIES!

“And now these three remain=Faith=hope=and love=but the GREATEST

NEVER give up=ON YOUR DREAMS=to be SOMETHING GREAT=for

The HIDDEN THINGS=from our life=We cannot

HIDE ANYTHING=from them=They KNOW everything about us=

Yet they love us anyway=He frightened the pharisees=Jesus did=

And the scholars away=”Some of the scribes said in reply’=’

Teacher you have=answered well’=And they no longer=DARED to

WHEN the teachers and scholars=Saw Jesus COULD SEE through them=They

Were afraid to EVEN go near him=Let alone=ask him anything=Our

Holy Father God=Our Jesus=KNOW everything about us=You CANNOT

Hide from God=That is WHY

 

I long for=JESUS’ HEALING TOUCH=That is who Jesus is=That is why

He is MY/OUR HEART’S DESIRE=”I DESIRE=to do your will=My God=Your

IN THIS LIFE=by our vices=like gambling= like alcohol=drugs=or an

ATTRACTION to=the wrong person of the OPPOSITE SEX=but we have

To KEEP IN MIND=our goals=our dreams=OUR/MY HEARTS’S DESIRE who

Is Jesus Christ=and the HOLY FATHER GOD!=His=Jesus’=is MY HEART’S
DESIRE=Christ’s loving touch=is OUR HEARTS’S DESIRE=every Heart’s desire

“NOW EAGERLY DESIRE=the greater gifts”                                                                              1 Corinthians 12:31

 

“Pray for us=We are sure that we=have a clear conscience=AND DESIRE=to

Live honorably==in every way=I particularly urge you=to PRAY=so that

I may be=Restored to you soon”                                                                                                 Hebrews 13:18-19

Problems=I have been RELYING on the Holy Father God=and Jesus=and

THE BIBLE=for direction IN=all of my problems=to HELP ME=through all

Of my health CRISES=my financial problems=and my RELATIONSHIP ISSUES=

ONLY the Lord God ABOVE=can GUIDE us through these=THE LORD

God of LOVE=who knows all things=COUNSELS ME=counsels us=for

OUR ENTIRE LIFE

 

“Jehosaphat replied=to the king of Israel=’I am as you are=My people as

Your people=My hoses as your horses’= But Jehosaphat also said=’First

Seek THE COUNSEL=of the Lord’”

TRUE GUIDANCE=comes only from=The Counselor=who is=THE SPIRIT
OF GOD

 

“GUIDE ME=in your truth=and teach me=for you are God=MY SAVIOR=and

My HOPE is in you=all day long”                                                                                                          Psalm 25:5

 

“But when he=THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH=comes=he will GUIDE you=into all

Truth=He will not speak on his own=He will speak only what he hears=and he

Will tell you=What is yet to come”                                                                                                             John 16:13

 

Dear HOLY FATHER GOD=and the HOLY FAMILY=of Jesus-Mary-and Joseph=

Please COUNSEL us at all times=Especially when we are=Doubtful=or in

Distress=for you are the Counselor=THE TRUE GUIDANCE of us all=for TRUE

GUIDANCE COMES ONLY FROM=THE LORD GOD ABOVE!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of OUR FOREVER Living=forever loving=

FOREVER GUIDING Holy Father God!

Running on empty

But my heart is full

My heart is full of love

 

I’m empty of money

I’m empty of sex-appeal

I’m even empty of the miracles of science

I’m just running

On my heart

A heart full of love

 

I’m running on empty

I’m empty of hatred

I’m empty of trying to even the score

I’m trying to get empty

Empty of all the world’s vices

And just trying to run

It might be just the fumes

I have learned about God

Because God never runs out of forgiveness

WHEN NO ONE=IS WATCHING

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHEN NO ONE=IS WATCHING

 

We all have=CHOICES TO MAKE!=in this world=ONE

Of the choices=that we make=IS how we act=when NO ONE

IS WATCHING US=Do we STILL=act with HONOR=ACT WITH

INTEGRITY=do the right thing?=”He replied’=’WELL DONE=good

And faithful servant=You have been FAITHFUL=in this very small matter=

Take CHARGE of ten cities’”                                                                                                                    Luke 19:17

 

Do you HAVE BIG DREAMS and goals=with your life?=I have some

NEWS FOR YOU=It BEGINS with being diligent=in small matters=In

DOING the RIGHT THING=at all times=even in small matters=What

Do you do=WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING=You?

 

IF in the world=Of the Holy Father God and Jesus=we are CAPABLE of

Handling small matters well=Our LORD entrusts us with larger matters=Act

Responsible at all times=IN small matters and large=ALWAYS act with integrity

And HONOR=at all times=How do YOU ACT?=When no one is WATCHING

 

“As for you=if you walk before me faithfully=WITH INTEGRITY OF HEART=and

Uprightness as David=Your father did=and do all I command=and observe

My decrees and laws……..”                                                                                                                   1 Kings 9:4

 

“Then the Lord said to Satan’=Have you considered my servant Job?=There is

NO ONE on earth=like him=He is blameless and upright=a man who fears

God=and shuns evil=And he still=MAINTAINS HIS INTEGRITY=though you incited me

Against him=to ruin him=Without any reason”                                                                                    Job 2:3

 

We must MANAGE=our own SMALL affairs well=IF we want to be entrusted

With larger ones=We must=ACT WITH INTEGRITY=We must act with HONOR=if

We want our Holy Father God and Jesus=to TRUST US=in larger matters=HOW

Do you act=WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING?=with INTEGRITY?=with honor?

 

“You have made them=a little lower=than the angels=And crowned them

WITH GLORY AND HONOR”                                                                                                                             Psalm 8:5

 

“Be devoted to one another in love=HONOR one another above yourselves”                   Romans 12:10

 

“You are=NOT your own=You were bought at a price=Therefore HONOR GOD=

With your bodies”                                                                                                                                     1 Corinthians 6:20

 

In today’s parable=The servants made BAD CHOICES=when their MASTER

Was away=HOW do we act=When we don’t FEEL God=How do we Act when=

When no one else=IS WATCHING?=Are we STILL HONORING GOD?=Are we

Still acting with HONOR AND INTEGRITY?

 

What would PEOPLE=think of you=if they OVERHEARD your conversations=or

READ your private e-mails?=Would they still=THINK OF YOU=as a person

With honor and integrity?=and FILLED with=THE GRACE OF GOD

 

Our HOLY FATHER God=and Jesus=KNOW every thought that you have=and

Yet they=still LOVE YOU ANYWAY=ACT with honor and INTEGRITY=at all times=for

Our God=our HOLY FATHER God and Jesus=are always with us

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever loving and LIVING Holy Father God=who

ARE=forever FILLED with HONOR AND INTEGRITY

MORAL FAILURE

 

November 21^st

 

 

Moral Failure

 

The question is not

What are we going to do

If we encounter

Moral Failure

 

The question is

What are we going to do with it

Once we realize

We did fail

 

Look at Saint Peter

He denied Christ 3 times

Even after he said

He would never deny Christ

 

Yet

He went on

To actually BE the ROCK

And have the whole foundation

Of the Church

Built upon him

 

Look at Saint Paul

Previously called Saul

Not worthy to be called an Apostle

And a killer of Christians

In the new Church

 

Yet the Lord converted him

And he became

Probably

The most prolific writer

And recruiter

In the Christian movement

 

What about Moses

A murderer

What about David

An adulterer

What about anyone

In the Bible

 

What about you/what about me

When we realize

We failed God

In some way

 

How are we

Going to

Let God use us

In the building up

Of his Kingdom

 

There are

No perfect people in this world

Only Christ

 

So you failed

So what

You can still be

On the team

 

And maybe

Just maybe

A star

On the team

Of our Lord
