We live
In a fallen world
A fallen world
Based on greed
A fallen world
Based on lust

Based on science
A fallen world
Where love
Is desperately needed
A fallen world in need
Of honesty

GOD IS FOREVER!
It seems as though-
Everything is this world
IS TRANSITORY
TIME continues to move on=
Sometimes people even move on
For a variety of reasons
GOD alone lasts
GOD IS FOREVER!=in my heart
And we are=in his
GOD IS FOREVER!
“If you are not trustworthy-
With what belongs=to another
Who will GIVE YOU=what is yours?”
Luke 16:12
We lived in my CHILDHOOD HOME
For 35 or 40 years=but new people
Eventually moved in
My mom and dad are gone now
And I wish the new people well
The point is
This world is TRANSITORY
God is eternal=God alone=LASTS FOREVER
“But the plans of the Lord
STAND FIRM FOREVER=
The purposes of his heart
Through all generations”
Psalm 33:11
“And I will ask
The Father=and he will give you
Another advocate=to help you
AND BE WITH YOU FOREVER”
John 14:16
“Everyone who competes
In the race=goes into strict training
They do it=to get a crown
That will not last
But we do it=To get a crown
THAT WILL LAST FOREVER”

We pay a mortgage=we pay bills
But we move on
EVERYTHING in life is transitory
From GOD’S point of view
He knows what lasts
And it is LOVE=he knows it is
The good INTERIOR QUALITIES
That we BUILD our lives on
ALL possessions are transitory
Love=forgiveness=kindness
Are qualities that last
GOD IS FOREVER!
“Jesus Christ is the same
Yesterday=and today=and FOREVER” Hebrews

Try to keep in mind
That we do NOT only live only on
Earthly things
But we live in
God’s world too
And that each of us
ARE ONE
Of many members=of God’s creation
We are called to
LIVE=in his world forever
GOD IS FOREVER!
Dear Lord=we PRAY
That you help us to REALIZE
That we belong to YOU FOREVER

I see the little girl
She says goodbye
When I walk away
She will cry
She loves me
The way God loves me
God has billions of people
To worry about
I think of the little boy
He loves me
The way God loves me
God sees
All my failures and mistakes
But he still loves me

The way
He loves all his children
With a hug and a smile
The way he loves every child
I wish

OF GOD=I pray that IN=Some small way=People cane SEE the
Holy Father God=
And His Son Jesus Christ=Living in me=AS I see them=LIVING
IN YOU!=ENTRUST

WORDS DOMINATE our lives=Moreso than any=OTHER time=In the
HISTORY of=
The world=OUR WORDS=written or spoken=Dominate our daily
lives=They APPEAR=
On facebook=IN e-mails=and ON countless other media sites=There
is an OVERBUNDANCE=
Of words=In this the 21st century=SPEAK and write=THE
WORDS of God and Jesus=
Entrust yourself=ENTRUST YOUR LIFE=Build your life=On the
WORD OF GOD=For
God’s words are ETERNAL=Jesus’ words are eternal=THE WORD OF
GOD=LIVES FOREVER!
“I have hidden YOUR WORD=In my heart=That I might NOT sin
against you=” Psalm 119:11
“EVERY WORD of God=is flawless=He is a shield to those=Who
take refuge=
In him”

GOD’S Word is living=It is active=It is =Jesus’ WORDS are
about=THE WORDS OF
Life=That NOURISH our faith=The WORDS of Jesus=The Words of

The SPIRIT of God=Comfort us=Guide us=and RENEW US=Because
they are NOT simply=
Human words=But they are THE ENTRUSTED WORDS=Of Jesus and
THE FATHER=Our
Ever living God=They are the TRANSFORMING WORDS Of God=Not just human words
“THE WORD became flesh=and made his dwelling among us=We
have seen his glory=The
GLORY of the ONE and only Son=Who came from the Father=FULL
of grace and truth” John 1:14
“Take the helmet of salvation=and the sword of the SPIRIT=which
is

That is right sisters and BROTHERS=ENTRUST YOURSELVES to=The
WORDS of the Holy
Father God=the WORDS of the Son=Jesus Christ=and one day=YOU
WILL LIVE FOREVER=
With OUR Eternal God=YOUR WORDS are Spirit and LIFE=O LORD=Entrust
yourself to the
WORDS of God and LIVE=Forever in eternity with them
It is easy=to get WEIGHED DOWN=by the world=By health
complications=by financial issues=and
By relationship and FAMILY PROBLEMS=But the WORDS of
God=shed HEALING=and renewed
LIGHT=On our paths=as we go forward=and the WORDS of The
Father and THE SON Live forever=
“Heaven and earth=will pass away=BUT MY WORDS=will never

TO CARRY US THE REST OF THE WAY
God gives us earthly parents
To teach us what we should
And need to know
To teach us love
And to teach us
Kindness and affection
He gave me
The 2 greatest parents
That anyone could ever have
I think both of my sisters would agree
And when they are gone
God steps in
To take us
The rest of the way
We are all
Children
Children of God
Our earthly parents
Are limited
Though in our case
Not very much
They both
Gave us the gift
The gift of unconditional love
Our earthly parents
Can only take us a certain distance
But God
Can carry us
The rest of the way
Heavenly Father
We pray for your guidance
And direction
As we continue on our journey

THE PURPOSE OF LIFE
Every day
In the newspaper
In this country
There are obituary notices
Psalm 90
Talks about
The brevity of life
And in the Bible
God promises 70 years
80---if we are strong
Knowing this
I ask myself
What is
The purpose of life
I believe
The answer is
The same today
As what we were taught
When we were children
To know, love
And to serve God
We have
Many people in our lives
That we love
ALL these possessions
That we love
ALL these people that we love
All these possessions
That we have
Are gifts from God
I think sometimes
We become so in love with the gifts
That we FORGET THE GIVER---GOD
Every day
God gives us a gift of 1,440 minutes
To use as we wish
Dear Lord
We just want to say thank you
For our family and friends
Those that we have had
And those
Who are still with us today
And we want to say thank you
For this gift of today---
ALL 1,440 minutes
May we use
A few of those minutes
TO KNOW---TO LOVE---AND TO SERVE YOU TODAY

THE TOUCH OF A MASTER’S HAND
We live
In a world
That tells us
There is no sin
That sin doesn’t matter
We live
In a world
Full of selfishness
Full of intolerance
And full of
Ingratitude, indifference
And the rejection of other human beings
But we also live
In a world
That can be very kind
Particularly
At the birth of a child
And the death of a loved on
I know because
I have been touched
By God
And by family and friends
And church
In these last
Number of weeks
So what changes us
From people
Of sin, selfishness, and rejection
To people of
Kindness and goodness
Beyond our own human understanding
I suggest
It is
The touch of God
In us and for us
The touch of God
For each other
To help one another
I suggest
It is simply
The touch of God
In each and every one of our lives
