YOUR FAITH AND ENDURANCE=are VISIBLE
To God and OTHERS
People STAND OUT in life=when they have
INCREDIBLE faith and endurance=They always stand
Out=These qualities stand out to GOD too=”WE always=
Pray for you……..”
2 Thessalonians 1:11
It is the GOOD NEWS=of Jesus Christ= IT Comes with
CHALLENGES=sometimes even setbacks=Today’s GOSPEL
Is an EXAMPLE of that=with “WOE TO YOUS”=to the TEACHERS
Of the law=and the Pharisees and hypocrites=”WOE to
you=Teachers
Of the law and Pharisees=You hypocrites”
Matthew 23:15
The TRUTH is=the only example=in this life=we are to
FOLLOW=is
The example o Jesus Christ=His example of LOVE=of
forgiveness=and
Kindness=a life of EXAMPLE=and SCRIPTURES to follow-Our
SCRIPTURES
Offer challenges=but they also OFFER ENCOURAGEMENT
And if we FOLLOW=Jesus’
examples of FAITH AND ENDURANCE=we
Stand out to God= we stand out to others=we ARE EXAMPLES
TOO!
“Listen to me=Judah and people of Jerusalem!=Have FAITH in
the Lord
Your God=and you will be upheld=HAVE FAITH in his
prophets=and
You will be successful”
2 Chronicles 20:20
“HAVE FAITH in God’= Jesus answered=’Truly I tell you=if
anyone=
Says to this mountain=’Go throw yourself into the sea’=and
does not
Doubt=in their heart=but believes what they say=will
happen=it will
BE done for them”
Mark 11:22-23
The Thessalonians are EXPERIENCING persecution=but Paul
Tells them to REMAIN HOPEFUL=in their FAITH=and Paul and
Jesus
Tell us this same thing=with their actions=their deeds and
their words=
THEIR LIVES tell us=LIVE WITH FAITH AND ENDURANCE=for
It is VISIBLE to all=Including God
“May the God=who gives ENDURANCE and encouragement=give you
The same attitude of mind=toward each other=That Christ
had=so that
With one mind=and one voice=You may glorify=the God and
Father
Of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Romans 15:5-6
“……..being strengthened=with all power=according to his
Glorious might=so that you may have=GREAT ENDURANCE and
patience” Colossians 1:11
What we HOPE for in life=shapes what we live for=and when we
EXPERIENCE doubt and difficulties=we still have to live=WITH
FAITH
And ENDURANCE=for that is VISIBLE to God=and visible to
others=and
Is an EXAMPLE OF CHRIST”=”I have set YOU AN EXAMPLE=that you
Should do=as I have done for you”
John 13:15
Let your FAITH AND ENDURANCE=be VISIBLE to God
And others=and be EXAMPLES of sharing the GOOD NEWS
Of God and Jesus=in this world=OUR HOPE is in the Lord
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER LIVING=ever
loving
