MARY DOES!

 

HOW is this=FOR PRESENCE=Of mind?=As Jesus is DYING=He GIVES his BELOVED

Mother Mary=To his Apostle of LOVE=John!=”When Jesus=Saw his MOTHER there=and

The Disciple=WHOM HE LOVED=STANDING nearby=He said to her’=’Woman here is

Your SON’=and to the Disciple=’Here is your Mother’=From that time on=This disciple took

Her into his home”                                                                                                                                         John 19:26-27

WHAT SORROW for a Mother=HOW DEVASTATING!

 

We ASSUME=John was with Mary=Jesus’ mother=For the REST of her life=and through her

ASSUMPTION=But Mary had to STAND=by her SON=IN SORROW=as He died=and She

STANDS BY=for us=Even in=THE SORROWS of our life=MARY DOES!=

“They will come and shout=For JOY=on the heights of Zion=They will Rejoice=In the bounty of the Lord=--------The grain=the new wine=and the olive oil=The young of the flocks=and herds=

They will be=Like a well-watered garden=and they will SORROW no more”           Jeremiah 31:12

“I have GREAT SORROW=and unceasing anguish=in my heart”                                    Romans 9:2

“GODLY SORROW=Brings repentance=That leads to salvation=and leaves No regret=But

WORLDLY SORROW=Brings death”                                                                                             2 Corinthians 7:10

Oh=THE SORROW Mary Must have felt=as she stood by=and watched=Her son Jesus die=and

ALL THE SORROW=Mary must feel=For us=in today’s world=As person after person=TURNS AWAY=

From the Holy Father God =and her  Son Jesus=Nevertheless=MARY STANDS by us=IN OUR

SORROWS!

 

Today=We celebrate Mary on=The feast of=OUR LADY OF SORROWS=as She continues to

STAND by us=In today’s world=The prophet Simeon=Truly turned out=To be RIGHT=In what he=

SPOKE about Jesus to Mary=”Then Simeon Blessed them and said=To Mary his Mother’=’This child

Is DESTINED=To cause the falling and Rising=Of many in Israel=and to be a SIGN=that will be

Spoken against=So that the THOUGHTS =Of many hearts =Will be revealed=And a SWORD=will

PIERCE=Your own soul too’”                                                                                                                     Luke 2:34-35

Our Mary=STANDING by Her Jesus in life=in death=and HIS RESURRECTED LIFE=and OUR MARY=

Standing by us=IN THE SORROWS=we FACE in our lives too!

 

Our Mary=The MOTHER of our SAVIOR Jesus Christ=EXEMPLIFIES the Suffering of many of  us=

Of those of us=WHO live our LIVES close to Jesus=and in a VERY SPECIAL WAY=She is our

SECOND MOTHER=of ALL of us=Our Home and OUR FAMILY=SHE STANDS BY US=Truly through

It all=”I will declare=That you LOVE STANDS firm forever=That you have established your

Faithfulness=In heaven itself”                                                                                                                           Psalm 89:2

“Your word Lord=is eternal=It STANDS FIRM=In the heavens”                                                    Psalm 119:89

“Nevertheless God’s solid foundation=STANDS FIRM=Sealed with this inscription’=’The Lord

Knows those who are his’=and=’Everyone who confesses=the name of  the Lord=Must turn away

From wickedness’”                                                                                                                                         2 Timothy 2:19

 

Dear Lord=we PRAY=In thanks for your MOTHER=OUR Mother Mary=and her faithfulness=For

STANDING by Jesus=Through his SORROWS=and for STANDING BY US=In all of our SORROWS=

Through life=Mary DOES!

 

In Jesus’ name=and IN the name=Of our HOLY FAMILY=Jesus=Mary=and Joseph=and  our

FOREVER LIVING=FOREVER LOVING=Holy Father God!

SEEING THE WISDOM=OF THE CROSS=Even when=It does NOT make sense

 

 

 

 

 

 

SEEING THE WISDOM =OF THE CROSS

(Even WHEN=It doesn’t make SENSE)

 

The WORLD=keeps spinning=KEEPS TURNING=But his cross=JESUS’ CROSS=

STANDS FIRM=With the RESURRECTION of LIFE over death=Standing FOREVER!=”And

Being found in appearance=As a man=He humbled himself=By becoming Obedient to

Death=-------Even death on a CROSS”                                                                                                 Philippians 2:8

 

IN the eyes of the WORLD=The Cross of Jesus does=NOT MAKE SENSE!=But when we LOOK

At it=Through our LOVING FATHER’S EYES=We Realize=It is the GREATEST LIFE=ever destined=

For mankind=Saint John=ONE of the sons of Thunder=and an ORIGINAL APOSTLE=Breaks

It down=Even further for us=”For GOD=so Loved the world=That he gave His one and=

ONLY SON=That whoever Believes in him=Shall not Perish=But have ETERNAL LIFE”      John 3:16

How about that=MY BROTHERS and SISTERS?=Eternal life=NEVER PERISHING=For all of

Eternity=Because of the GIFT by the Father=HIS SON=For ALL OF US!

 

“Your Word Lord=IS ETERNAL=it STANDS firm=in the heavens”                                            Psalm 119:89

“Trust in the Lord forever=For the Lord=The Lord himself=Is the Rock ETERNAL”      Isaiah   26:4

“Simon Peter answered him’=’LORD=to whom shall we go=You have the Words of ETERNAL

LIFE=We have come to Believe-That you are the=Holy One of God’”                                       John 6:68

HOW about Peter’s WISDOM?=May we all PROFESS=and FIND the courage of Peter=and

SEE the Wisdom=Of the CROSS=Even when it=MAKES NO SENSE=to this world=It is called FAITH!=

My sisters and brothers=Faith in the HOLY SON of God=and the Father!=NEVER EVER PERISH!

 

Our Jesus=The Son=and the Father=CHOSE the WAY of suffering=THE CROSS=To RECONCILE

Us to him=So that we COULD FIND FRIENDSHIP=With our God=SEEING THE WISDOM=Of the CROSS!=Through the EYES=Of the Father and the SON=and Never perishing=FINDING ETERNAL

LIFE=In the Father God and the SON!=”But now=That you have been SET FREE from sin=and have

Become slaves of God=The benefit you reap=Leads to holiness=and the result=is ETERNAL LIFE=

For the wages of sin=Is death=But the GIFT of God=Is ETERNAL LIFE=

In Christ Jesus our Lord”                                                                                                                          Romans 6:22-23

“But for that very reason=I was shown Mercy=So that in me=The worst of sinners=Christ Jesus

Might display-His immense patience=As an example for those=Who would Believe in him and=

RECEIVE INTERNAL LIFE”                                                                                                                            1 Timothy 1:16

 

Dear lord and Father God=We SEE THE WISDOM=Of your GREAT GIFT to us=In the CROSS=so that

We too=Your MODERN Day APOSTLES=Can Testify=never perish=and FIND ETERAL LIFE in you=

We say Thank You=With GRATITUDE=Because the CROSS OF CHRIST=Through the Father=

BRINGS us all=the POSSIBILITY of eternal salvation=”But God=Made the earth=By his Power=

He founded the world by his WISDOM=and stretched out the heavens=

By his understanding”                                                                                                                                   Jeremiah 10:12

“……..In order=That they may know=The mystery of God=Namely Christ=In whom are hidden

ALL the treasures=OF WISDOM and knowledge”                                                                        Colossians 2:2-3

 

To the WORLD=This cross makes NO SENSE=But to Christians/and Catholics=It makes PERSFECT

SENSE=For IN the CROSS=We find ETERNAL LIFE=and Never Perish!

In Jesus’ name=and in the Name=Of our ALWAYS LIVING=Always Loving =and always Forgiving=

Holy Father God!

FIRST HAND FAITH

 

 

In the IVth chapter

Of Saint John’s Gospel

Jesus tells the story

Of a meeting

With a Samaritan woman

At the well

 

He tells her

He is the Messiah

But not to tell anyone

Of course she does

 

But her friends

Come to believe in Jesus

Not only on her word

But because they too

Experience Jesus for themselves

 

All faith and all knowledge

Starts out as second hand

Because we first learn of it

From someone

Or something else

 

The great Catholic bishop

Bishop Fulton Sheen

Was once asked

If he had speech writers

He said, of course

“Matthew, Mark, Luke and John”

 

All of us

Have those same speech writers

 

And just because our knowledge

Is second hand

Does not mean

It is second rate

 

And just because

Our faith starts out

As second hand

It does not remain that way

 

By internalizing our faith

Into the everyday fabric

Of our lives

And by sharing our faith with others

In fact

Our faith does become first hand

 

Faith makes us

Strong, loving, and wise

And having our faith

And sharing our faith

Means we are

Never alone

 

We will ALWAYS have God

And the love

And faith of each other

I was TOLD=By my previous surgeon=That I could NOT make it=Through another Surgery=

That is WHY=When I had ANOTHER INTESTINAL OBSTRUCTION=In May=I thought it=

Might BE the end!

 

But My  Savior=The SON of God=and the HOLY Father=had it all UNDER CONTROL=and I was

CALLING UPON them=”And surely=I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS!=To the very end of=

The AGE”                                                                                                                                                             Matthew 28:20

I was=PRAYING THE MIRACLE PRAYER=That my FRIEND Diane=Gave to me=and it had

THIS PICTURE=Of Jesus on the front=I had some doubt=and I was PRAYING this Prayer=

Continuously to Jesus and The Holy Father God!!=I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS!=NEVER give up=

Never give in!=When you are CONNECTED  to the Father and the SON=You always

HAVE HOPE!

 

“I keep my eyes=ALWAYS on the LORD=With him=at my right hand=I will NOT

Be shaken”                                                                                                                                                              Psalm 16:8

“It ALWAYS protects=ALWAYS trusts=ALWAYS HOPES=Always perseveres=LOVE never

Fails”                                                                                                                                                          1 Corinthians 13:7-8

“Rejoice in the Lord ALWAYS!= I will say it again=REJOICE!”                                                    Philippians 4:4

Despite having GREAT FAITH=In the Lord=ant the FATHER GOD=My Family and My friends=I

Had my DOUBTS=I very well THOUGHT=This could be the end!=Maybe the LORD=was Calling

Me home=So I BEGAN=to say=ALL of the Prayers Jesus was saying at the end

 

“Going a little farther=He fell=with his FACE to the ground=and Prayed=’MY FATHER=If it is

Possible=May this cup=BE Taken from me=Yet NOT as I will=But as you will’”           Matthew 26:39

“Jesus called out in a loud voice=’Father into your hands=I commit my Spirit’=When he had

Said this=He breathed his last”                                                                                                        Luke 23:46

“When he had=Received the drink=Jesus said=’It is Finished’=With that he bowed his head=

And gave up=HIS SPIRIT”                                                                                                                         John 19:30

He died=Jesus did=Only to RESURRECT=and PROVE that the Father and the Son=Have the POWER=Over life and death

 

After a very serious surgery=20 days in the HOSPITAL=LIFE goes on for me=Because of the FATHER

God and Jesus=I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS=Never give up!=NEVER GIVE IN!=The LOVE of the Father

And the SON=Control life and death=There is ALWAYS HOPE!=If not in this world=For the Next=Our

God is a God of=LIFE AND LOVE=NEVER GIVE UP!=Never Give in!

“NOW CHOOSE LIFE=So that you and your children may LIVE=and that you may LOVE=The LORD

Your God……..”                                                                                                                                       Deuteronomy 30:19

“LET ME LIVE=that  I may praise you=and may your laws SUSTAIN ME”                       Psalm 119:175

“Whoever dose not take up their cross=And follow me=Is not worthy of me=Whoever finds

Their LIFE will lose it=and whoever loses THEIR LIFE=for my sake==Will find it”      Matthew 10:38-39

 

THE MIRACLE of LIFE AND LOVE=Belong to THE FATHER and To Jesus alone=and their WORDS=

Are with us ALWAYS too!=”Heaven and earth=Will pass away=BUT MY WORDS=Will NEVER

My dear Brothers and MY Sisters=Jesus LIVES in You and in me=NEVER give Up=Never
