RUNNING ON FAITH!
(With my NEW HAT=IN OUR GOD’S LOVE)
About 6 months ago=At
the Hallmark store=I found a NEW HAT=that read=
“RUNNING ON FAITH”=and it is PLAIN WHITE too=with GOLD
Lettering=I brought
It out a couple of weeks ago=”Do you not know=THAT IN A
RACE=All the runners
Run=But only ONE=gets the prize=Run in such a way=to get the
prize” 1 Corinthians 9:24
When I was YOUNG=I ran 5 or
6 MILES a every day=and the PLAN =was to
EVENTUALLY RUN a ½ marathon=and a marathon=But all the
OPERATIONS=and
Chronic illness and PAIN=took its toll on me=But like the
hat says=I am=RUNNING
ON FAITH now=and I am Running a race=OF SPIRITUAL ENDURANCE=to hopefully get
THE PRIZE=of someday LIVING with The HOLY FATHER God=and
Jesus FOREVER=
I am=Running the race=OF MY LIFE=and so are you=For Christ’s=and
the Holy
Father’s LOVE=We are=RUNNING ON FAITH=With perseverance and
endurance=for
The PRIZE=of eternal LIFE with God
“……..But those who HOPE in the Lord=Will renew their
strength=They will soar
On wings like eagles=They will RUN=and not grow weary=They
will walk and not be
Faint”
Isaiah 40:31
“I press on=toward the goal=to WIN THE PRIZE=for which God has called me=
Heavenward=In Christ Jesus”
Philippians 3:14
“Therefore since we are surrounded=By such a great cloud of
witnesses=Let us throw
Off everything=That hinders and the sin that so easily
entangles=And let us
RUN WITH PERSEVERANCE=The RACE marked out for us=Fixing our
eyes on Jesus=
The pioneer and Perfecter of OUR FAITH”
Hebrews 12:1-2
Let us face it=RUNNING a physical marathon=Takes great
practice and TRAINING=Plus
Endurance and
perseverance=But running a SPIRITUAL MARATHON=Requires the same=
It takes=”RUNNING ON FAITH”=It takes PRAYING daily=It takes
dedication and FOLLOWING
The example=Of the Holy Father God and Jesus=as well as the
prophets=the apostles=and
ALL of the saints=It does TAKE PRAYING=Reading the
SCRIPTURES DAILY=as well as=OUR FAITH
IN our Church and endurance and perseverance
“May the God=WHO GIVES ENDURANCE=and encouragement=Give you
the same ATTITUDE
Of mind=Toward each other=That Christ Jesus had=So that with
one mind=and one voice=You
May GLORIFY the God
and Father=Of our Lord Jesus Christ”
Romans 15:5-6
“You need TO PERSEVERE=so that when you have done=The Will
of God=You will receive=
What he HAS PROMISED”
Hebrews 10:36
And WHAT=has our Lord=PROMISED US=my dear sisters and
brothers=He has promised us
A lifetime of ETENAL love and life=with HIM=and his Father
forever=If we are BELIEVERS=and
Servants of the Holy Father God=and LIVING our life in FAITH
and servitude=”Now FAITH is
Confidence=In what we hope for=and ASSURANCE about=what we
do NOT SEE” Hebrews 11:1
My brothers and sisters=Keep on RUNNING the race of YOUR
LIFE=Keep RUNNING ON FAITH=
For IF we do this=We will=MEET UP TOGETHER=In the eternal
kingdom=OF GOD’S LOVE=
With OUR CREATOR AND HIS SON=We are=RUNNING ON FAITH!
IN Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=forever
living=FOREVER FAITHFUL
