THE TRIUMPH OF GOD AND LOVE=
Over the Cross!
On Good Friday=WE WITNESSED a horrible crucifixion=But the EVER ENDURING LOVE=
Of the PERFECT=Son of
God=PREVAILS through the AGONY of the Cross
We WITNESSED=The TRIUMPH of Jesus=THE TRIUMPH of LOVE=On the
cross=
“CARRYING his own cross=He went out=To the place of the
skull=(Which in Aramaic is
Called Golgotha)=There they CRUCIFIED him=with two others=--------On
each side and=
Jesus in the middle”
John 19:17-18
And as Jesus was dying=JESUS STILL LOVED=Jesus still PRAYED
to his Holy Father God=
He Entrusted the CARE of his Mother=To his disciple John=HE
FORGAVE his executioners=and
HE PROMISED eternal life=To the GOOD THIEF=Talk about=THE
TRIUMPH OF LOVE=On
The Cross=and THE BEST=Was still yet to come=IN THE
RESURRECTION=THE ULTIMATE TRIUMPH=
THE ULTIMATE VICTORY!
“Your gates=Will always stand open=They will never be
shut=Day or night=So that people may
BRING you=The wealth of the nations=--------Their kings led
in
TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION”
Isaiah 60:11
“But thanks be to God=Who always leads us as captives=IN
CHRIST’S TRIUMPHAL PROCESSION=
And uses us to=Spread the aroma=Of the knowledge of him
everywhere” 2 Corinthians 2:14
“And having disarmed=The powers=and authorities=He made a
public spectacle of them=
TRIUMPHING over them by the CROSS”
Colossians 2:15
These are THE TRIUMPHS=We celebrate=Particularly the VICTORY
of LIFE over death=Of
LOVE over hate=and the VICTORY Paul tells us about in 1
Corinthians 13:7=”LOVE always protects=
Always trusts=Always hopes=Always perseveres=and LOVE NEVER
FAILS”=Jesus and the Holy
Father=GOD OF LOVE=have never failed=and their LIFE and LOVE
is in us=to this very day!=
This is=THE TRIUMPH OF LOVE!=This is the TRIUMPH of
life=This is the SON’S VICTORY=
Of LOVE TRIUMPHING Over the cross!
“With God=we will GAIN in the VICTORY=and he will trample
down our enemies” Psalm 60:12
“DEATH has been swallowed up in VICTORY=’Where O death is
your VICTORY?’=Where O
Death is your sting?’”
1 Corinthians 15:54
“But thanks be to God=He gives us=THE VICTORY=
Through our Lord Jesus Christ”
1 Corinthians 15:57
We CANNOT BUILD a=Successful life=Without Christ in it=We
cannot OVERCOME OUR CROSSES=
Without BUILDING our lives=With Jesus at the top of it=Can
we LIVE like Jesus?=and continue
TO LOVE=When our Crosses our bearing down on us?=Can we=KEEP
HOLDING ON=and=TRIUMPH
When it is our time of THE CROSS?=If we can=If we do=OUR
VICTORY IS=In them=”And his
Commands=are not burdensome=+For everyone Born of
God=OVERCOMES the world=This
Is the VICTORY=That has overcome the world=Even our
faith=ONLY the one who believes=That
Jesus is THE SON OF GOD”
1 John 5:4
Dear Lord Jesus=WE PRAY=That we EMULATE YOU=For the LOVE you
had on=THE CROSS=For in
YOUR LIFE AND LOVE=In TRIUMPHING OVER THE CROSS=You have
RENEWED THE WORLD!
In Jesus’ name=and In the name=Of our EVER LOVING=Ever
Living=Forever faithful Holy
