Did you know that
God is madly
In love
With you
He lived
A life full of love
Because
He loves you
He died
A completely rejected
Wreck of humanity
Because
He loves you
What are you
Doing with your life
Are you offering
Your good up to God
Are you sharing
The worst part of yourself
With him
God desires to
Know you
All of you
The good and the bad
Did you know
God is madly in love
With you

SHARING OUR FAITH WITH OTHERS
ONE of the things
We are ALWAYS called upon
To do
Is to SHARE our FAITH
SHARE your faith
In love
Share your faith
In forgiveness
And share your faith
IN KINDNESS and mercy
“Therefore go
And MAKE disciples
Of all nations
BAPTIZE them in the
Name of the Father
And of the Son
And of the Holy Spirit
And TEACHING them
To obey everything
I have commanded you
And SURELY I am with you
ALWAYS-to the very end
Of the age” Matthew 28:19-20
And Jesus himself was baptized
By his cousin John
I too was BAPTIZED
As a baby-and
RECONFIRMED a number of different times
As an adult
And Jesus-himself-
GIVES us a tough passage
In the Gospel of Mark
“WHOEVER believes and is baptized
Will be saved
Whoever does not believe
Will be condemned” Mark 16:16
Jesus seems to be saying
“YOU are in-or
You are out”
We worship such a LOVING-
MERCIFUL God-but who knows-
Whether he meant it literally-
or not?
For what it is worth-I-
TOTALLY believe in him
FAITH is a difficult thing
But I have found it easier
To NAVIGATE life's challenges
In faith
When we balance our life
With faith in God and Jesus
Life is easier
WHEN we have FAITH
Than when our faith is
Weak or nonexistent
And we must SHARE-
Our faith in God and Jesus
With others
“IF you don not
Stand FIRM in your faith
You will NOT stand at all” Isaiah 7:9
“Jesus replied,
'If you have FAITH
And do not doubt
Not only can
You DO what was done
To the fig tree
But you can say
To this mountain,
'GO throw yourself
Into the sea'
And it will be done
If you BELIEVE
You will receive
Whatever you ask for
In PRAYER” Matthew 21:21-22
OUR LORD wants NONE
Of us-to be condemned
He CONVERTED Saul
Into Paul-
And he can convert anyone-
At any time
May you faith-BECOME-
As strong as Paul's
And may you always SHARE
Your FAITH WITH OTHERS
That way-we can ALL
Go to heaven
SEE YOU THERE!!!

GOD IS PRETTY COOL
People say good things about me
But how can I take credit
God got inside of me
God came to me
When I was in
My deepest need
He got in my heart
He got in my soul
I don’t know
How he got there
But I think
He is pretty cool
He forgave me
My deepest wrongs
I know he would do it
For you too
But you got to let him in
Into your heart
Into your soul

Today we CELEBRATE=The feast of Jesus’ PRESENTATION=To the
Good nan
Simeon=a very OLD MAN=who was DESTINED to SEE the Christ
child=In
His life=and was so MOVED=When he took the baby Jesus=In his
arms=He
Said”’=’Sovereign Lord=as you have PROMISED=You may now
DISMISS=Your
Servant in peace=For MY EYES=have seen YOUR SALVATION=Which
you=
Have PREPARED=In the sight=Of all nations=A LIGHT FOR
REVELATION=to
The GENTILES=and the GLORY of your people Israel’”

Jesus is=The Holy Father IS=the ever REVEALING=ever
lasting=LIGHT OF GOD!
Simeon’s words still RESOUND=in my daily life=Jesus LIVES in

Little ones we hold dear
Little ones
About who we should care
Bad things

These little ones
They are just our little doves
Bad things are happening
To these little ones

JOURNAL-NEVER ABANDONED
“I have been with you WHEREVER you went........” 2 Samuel-7-9
SINCE BIRTH-there has NEVER been a time that God was not present in your life-sometimes though we FEEL like we are all alone in this world-but the TRUTH is that can never happen-That is the beauty
of JESUS' COMING to live in us-he will never leave us for anything-HE LEAVES the HOLY SPIRIT-the SPIRIT OF LOVE to dwell INSIDE of us
THIS YEAR-and every year-as we approach the birth of of Jesus-the SCRIPTURES remind us that we are never alone and NEVER ABANDONED-so SLOW yourself down-pay ATTENTION to God-and come to KNOW Jesus-our ETERNAL COMPANION and comforter-who is with us-EVERY STEP-along life's journey
it is a GREAT DAY to be ALIVE in God's LOVE for us-and a great day to KNOW that we are never abandoned-and that we are NEVER ALONE
NEVER ABANDONED
Do you ever feel
That you
Have SO disappointed God
That he has given up
On you
WHY
Maybe because
That you feel
That you have not lived up
To the teachings of Jesus
Or you commit
The same stupid sin
Over and over again
I have
GOOD NEWS FOR YOU
It CAN'T happen
IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN
Because God
Is madly in love
WITH YOU
“For the Lord
Will NOT cast off
His people
NOR ABANDON-his inheritance” Psalm 94:14
SELF-DOUBT
Is a terrible thing
It can cause you
To give up
On yourself
It is a terrible feeling
And something I did have
MANY many years ago
But the truth is
GOD NEVER
Gave up on me
He found me
And if you are BROKEN
He can and will FIND YOU
The truth is
God's love for you
Is independent
Of your performance
As a BELIEVER
He-GOD
BELIEVES in you
“For the Lord
Your God
Is a MERCIFUL God
He will not abandon
Or destroy you
Or forget the covenant
Of your forefathers
Which he CONFIRMED to them
By oath” Deuteronomy 4:31
Self-doubt-lack of faith
Is a terrible thing
WHEN things
Are at their worst
It is natural
To feel abandoned
EVEN JESUS-the MOST FAITHFUL person whoever lived
Ans GOD'S SON
Just before he died said,
“MY God-my God
WHY did you abandon me?” Matthew 27:46
But God-HIS FATHER-resurrected him
And BUILT him back up To where
He has billions of believers
In today's world
And OUR Lord and OUR GOD
WILL NEVER abandon you
He is an ENCOURAGER
He is the GOD OF LIFE
And wants to RESURRECT your life
To TRIUMPH over all
“But you-DEAR FRIENDS
Build yourselves up
In YOUR most holy faith
And PRAY in the HOLY SPIRIT” Jude :20
Dear Lord-we pray
And we KNOW
That you will NOT cast off
Any of your people
Please give us
The faith of a MUSTARD SEED
And the confidence
Of your ENDURING LOVE
TO KNOW
That you would
NEVER ABANDON US

Where it BEGINS!
Is it ANY WONDER=Jeus BEGINS his PREACHING of the
BEATITUDES=Talking
About the POOR IN SPIRIT?=Most of us=MYSELF INCLUDED=We FIND
Our=Holy
Father God=Our Jesus=at our NADIR=at our VERY LOWEST POINT=”He
BEGAN to teach
Them=Saying’=’Blessed are the=POOR IN SPIRIT=for theirs
is=The Kingdom
Of heaven’”
Matthew 5:2-3
And so MANY of us=BEGIN our SEARCH FOR GOD=at our Most
lowest point=Jesus
KNEW right=Where to hit us=Right in our HEART=and the
BEATITUDES are=ONE of=
The great ingredients=OF MY LIFE=Along with Loving
God=Loving Others=and Forgiving
Others=ALONG with a=Couple of things my Mom Taught me=About
LOVE AND TRUTH!
Where we BEGIN=is with POVERTY OF SPIRIT=Jesus HITS US=with
his BEST SHOT=Right
From the BEGINNING!
“Keep falsehood=and les far from me=Give me=NEITHER POVERTY
nor riches=But give
Me=Only my daily bread”
Proverbs 30:8
“Calling his disciples to him=Jesus said’=’Truly I tell you=This
poor widow=Has put more
Into the treasury=Than all the others=They all gave=Out of
their wealth=But she=OUT
OF HER POVERTY=Put in everything=all she had to live on’”
Mark 12:43-44
And this REPRESENTS TO ME=What POVERTY of Spirit really
is=Continuing to GIVE=Even
When you=Have NOTHING MORE to give=Physically=Financially=Or
Spiritually=This is
Where poverty of SPIRIT BEGINS!=And that is BECAUSE=At our
lowest POINT=When we have
NOTHING=We throw ourselves into=THE LAP OF GOD=and that is
WHERE it all BEGINS=with POVERTY of Spirit=Jesus knew this=and Taught us THE
BEATITUDES
“In the midst=Of a very severe trial=Their overflowing
joy=and their EXTREME POVERTY=Welled
Up in rich generosity”
2 Corinthians 8:2
“For you know=The grace of our Lord= Jesus Christ=That
though he was rich=Yet for your
Sake=He became poor=So that you=THROUGH HIS POVERTY=
Might become rich” 2

Dear Lord=we PRAY About what Jesus taught us=and we
pray=That we MAY obtain=the
HEART OF a CHILD==For that is where we FIND GOD=It is a
RADICAL UNDERSTANDING=
Of true poverty=and How MUCH Jesus loves us=For to have a
HEART of a child=is to FIND
Poverty of SPIRIT=and this is WHERE IT BEGINS

government will be=On his
Shoulders”
