NO MATTER=who we are=No matter what we are doing=

With our lives=We are CALLED=by THE ONE TRUE GOD=

To live lives of love=To live lives of forgiveness=and to LIVE

LIVES of kindness=in the HEART of the ONE true EVERLASTING

Holy Father God=and His Son Jesus Christ=WE re CALLED

BY THE ONE TRUE GOD OF LOVE=”They have mouths=but

They speak NOT”                                                                                                                             Psalm 115:5

 

The GIFT OF SPEECH=is not just a human characteristic=It

Is A COMMUNICATION=from our LIVING God=He has been

SPEAKING TO US=down through the ages=from the DAWN of time=

And through HIS SON Jesus Christ=CALLED BY THE ONE

TRUE GOD=of love=for we were made=by THE ONE TRUE GOD

“So God CREATED mankind=in his own image=in the IMAGE

Of God=HE CREATED male and female=he created them”                                                        Genesis 1:27

 

And God teaches us=that HIS SON=is the WORD INCARNATE=

“The WORD became flesh=and made his dwelling among us”                                    John 1:14

 

And even beyond that=THE ONE TRUE GOD=tells us=He has LEFT

His own Spirit=and His SON’S own Spirit=Behind for us=for

ALL OF TIME=”In the same way=THE SPIRIT=help us=in our

Weakness=We do not know=What we ought to pray for=but

THE SPIRIT himself=intercedes for us=through wordless groans”                                              Romans 8:26

 

COMMUNICATION comes to us=through God and has been with us=

Since the beginning of TIME=and is with us=IN all human relationships=

We WORSHIP a God=who is ACTIVELY calling us=we are all CALLED

BY=THE ONE TRUE GOD=of love and life

 

“The poor man CALLED=and the Lord heard him=He saved him

Out of all his troubles”                                                                                                                         Psalm 34:6

 

Man has been worshipping FALSE IDOLS=since the beginning

Of time=but Our God=of life and LOVE=and forgiveness=and

Kindness=calls us=to WORSHIP HIM=The idols TAKE and never give=

But our ONE TRUE GOD=never stops GIVING TO US=CALLED BY=

OUR one true GOD OF LOVE

 

“But the servant replied’=’Look=in this town=there is a man

Of God=He is highly respected=and everything he says=COMES TRUE=

Let’s go there now=Perhaps he will tell us=what to take’”                                                       1 Samuel 9:6

 

“All your words=ARE TRUE=all your righteous laws=are eternal”                                 Psalm 119:160

 

And so my friends=My dear brothers and sisters=The LORD GOD=

May be speaking to you today=IN SCRIPTURE=or through a

CHURCH SERVICE=or even a TRUSTED FRIEND=or maybe through

SOME other human experience

 

So just LISTEN for God=He may be SPEAKING TO YOU=in some way=

In whatever way you are listening=WE ARE CALLED BY=

THE ONE TRUE GOD OF LOVE!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ever LIVING=ever loving=ever

CALLING=our Holy Father God=the ONE TRUE GOD OF LOVE!

Saint Report

 

 

            I chose Saint Rose of Lima as my Confirmation Saint. She was born in Peru, South America and also died there. Her death was in 1617 when she was only thirty-one. Saint Rose is the Patroness of South America. She was also the first saint of the Americas.

Rose was always a good person. She was very obedient to her parents and always did tasks with a smiling face. She was always trying to please others. Rose was a beautiful girl. Her mother wanted her to wear pretty clothes but she said that only beauty of the soul is worthwhile. When a man wanted to marry her; to give her a large home with servants, she refused because she only wanted to love and serve God. Rose was always good to her parents. When they lost all of their money she went out to work every day to help them. She also went to the homes of the poor and brought them food.

            She was definitely seen as a saint in her own time. She was always helping others and never doing anything wrong. Rose cared about everyone; good or bad. Often times the Lord appeared to her to tell her how pleased He was with her and her kind deeds.

            I chose Saint Rose of Lima because I’ve always wanted to be like her. I used to look through the book of saints when I was a little girl and she always stood out. I liked the name, but it was more about her actions as to why I chose her. Rose was actually going to be my middle name, but my parents changed it to Elizabeth. Also my grandmothers saint name was Rose. I’d give anything to be like my grandmother; she was much like Saint Rose. Always caring and passionate for everything.

 

 

            I learned that not only was Saint Rose of Lima kind to people, but she was kind to animals too. I learned that I am more like Rose than I thought. I am extremely passionate for animals. I’ve always dreamed of being a veterinarian in the future. I also would give anything and everything to please my family and friends. Those three things are what I always put first. I am ready to make this change in my life and be inspired by Saint Rose!

Do you RECOGNIZE the

PRESENCE of Jesus

In your life?

BE READY=be aware=

You never know WHEN=where=

Or how Jesus is COMING

“........while they

WERE conversing and debating

Jesus himself drew NEAR

And walked with them

But their eyes were PREVENTED

From recognizing him”                                                                                            Luke 24:15-16

Do you RECOGNIZE

The presence of JESUS

In your life?

Do you recognize

The presence of Jesus

IN OTHERS?

TODAY we read about

TWO FRIENDS on the ROAD to Emmaus

And how SLOW

They are to recognize Jesus

And HOW SLOW

Are we

To recognize Jesus

In the ordinary events

OF OUR LIFE?

And in the big events=

SOMETIMES even when a MIRACLE

Is taking place

RECOGNIZING Jesus=

Recognizing his presence=

In our FAMILIES=our friends=

And even in strangers

“By their fruit

You will RECOGNIZE them

Do you pick grapes

From thorn bushes

Or figs from thistles?”                                                                                                  Matthew 7:16

“This is how

You RECOGNIZE

The SPIRIT of God

Every spirit

That ACKNOWLEDGES

That Jesus Christ

Has come in the flesh

IS from God”                                                                                                              1 John 4:2

“WE are from God

And whoever KNOWS God

Listens to us

But whoever is

NOT form God

Does not listen to us

This is how we

RECOGNIZE the Spirit of TRUTH

And the spirit

Of falsehood”                                                                                                        1 John 4:6

God=JESUS=is not

Always in the KNOWN

Is not always

In the recognizable

This is WHY

The two FRIENDS on the road

To Emmaus

Did not recognize Jesus

He did not appear

To them in RECOGNIZABLE FORM

But we will ALWAYS

Recognize God=recognize Jesus

In the GOOD

That COMES from them

“SURELY= you have GRANTED him

UNENDING BLESSINGS

And made him GLAD

With the joy

Of your PRESENCE”                                                                                                Psalm 21:6

Dear Lord=Dear Jesus=

WE LOVE YOU!=though we

MAY NOT always

Recognize you

We RECOGNIZE the never-ending

GOODNESS AND LOVE

That you BRING

Into our lives

Recently=this world=LOST

Aretha Franklin=the QUEEN

Of SOUL

And we want to SAY

A PRAYER for her=that she

Is WELCOMED into the LORD'S

KINGDOM===the KING OF LOVE

Today we CELEBRATE=the feast=

Of the QUEENSHIP of Mary=and

THE REAL QUEEN OF US ALL

“The LORD is my SHEPHERD

I shall not want

Even though

I WALK

In the dark valley

I fear no evil

For you are AT MY SIDE

With your rod and staff

That give me COURAGE

And I shall dwell

In the HOUSE of the LORD

Mary=as the MOTHER of Jesus

Certainly DESERVES the title

Of QUEEN

Yet we KNOW=as a human

Being=how Mary SUFFERED=especially

At the foot of the CROSS

As Jesus was DYING

It HELPS me to

IMAGINE Mary=PRAYING today's Psalm

And ALL the challenges

She had to OVERCOME

In her life

It helps me to KNOW

How the Father

GUIDED HER

Through the dark valleys

And how she gathered COURAGE

With GOD at her side

MARY=THE REAL QUEEN

“When the queen of Sheba

Heard of Solomon's FAME

She came to Jerusalem

To test him

With hard questions”                                                                                               2 Chronicles 9:1

“The QUEEN of the South

Will rise

At the judgment

With this generation

And condemn it

For she CAME

From the ends of the earth

To listen

To Solomon's wisdom

And now something GREATER

Than Solomon is here”                                                                                                      Matthew 12:42

Yes=the LORD Jesus=

And the ONLY REAL QUEEN

The Queen MOTHER Mary

Dear loving Queen Mary=

Thank you for making

Yourself AVAILABLE to us

And always BEING OUR FRIEND

And AT OUR side

“A FRIEND loves at ALL times

And a brother is BORN

For a time of adversity”                                                                                                      Proverbs 17:17

Dear Queen Mary=help us stick CLOSE
