Family is what

Brought us together

Family is what

Tore us apart

I don’t know why some things happen

I don’t know where they all get their start

 

But I do know this

 

A family is the heart of God

A family is what can turn

This world around

God created families to love one another

A family is the heart of God

 

So many problems

So many things

Trying to tear us apart

So many problems

Where do they all get their start

 

Family is what

Brought us together

Family is what

Tore us apart

Don’t let it get started again

A loving family is the heart of God

HAVING DIVINE BELIEF!

(Taking Comfort in God)

 

It is NEVER

A good idea=TO DOUBT our God

It is never=a good idea=to doubt

That GOD CAN AND WILL

Do miracles=in your life

 

Right BEFORE=I went unconscious

WHEN I was 22=

 

Right after=I made my LAST RIGHTS

And was TOLD=that I have

NO CHANCE TO LIVE=I didn’t know

BUT I BELIEVED=God

Could work a MIRACLE=in me=and he did

 

HAVING DIVINE BELIEF!=Taking

OUR COMFORT in God=I have lived 49 and ½ years

LONGER than ever expected

 

“When DOUBTS=filled my mind=YOUR COMFORT

Gave me renewed hope and cheer”                                                                                                    Psalm 94:19

 

BELIEF and doubt=seem to coincide=

They are PRESENT=in everything we do

 

In our health matters=IF we move

To a new residence=If we take

A new job=and in our RELATIONSHIPS

With our family and friends

 

I CHOOSE to believe in God=

MORE than doubt=

I choose to HAVE DIVINE BELIEF!=

To believe in the DIVINE POSSIBILITIES

For our lives=TAKING MY COMFORT=in

God’s plan for our lives=HAVING DIVINE BELIEF!

 

“I will=fear no evil=for you are

With me=Your rod and staff=

THEY COMFORT ME”                                                                                                                       Psalm 23:4

 

“May your unfailing love=

BE MY COMFORT=according to your promise

To your servant”                                                                                                                        Psalm 119:76

 

“Praise be=to the God=and Father

Of our Lord Jesus Christ=

The Father of compassion=and

The God=OF ALL COMFORT……..”                                                                                                 2 Corinthians 1:4

 

Our God=never wants us

TO DOUBT HIM=he wants us=to have

That DIVINE BELIEF in him

And I do=I hope that

You ALL do too

 

REMEMBER=Our Jesus told

Our apostle Thomas=to STOP DOUBTING

And believe=and he told a man

Who asked him=to HEAL his son=NOT

To doubt what he could do

NEVER doubt our Jesus=HAVING DIVINE BELIEF!

 

So don’t doubt that God and Jesus

CAN PERFORM A MIRACLE=in your life

And TAKE COMFORT in him=have

THAT DIVINE BELIEF!

 

“As it is written’=

‘See=I lay in Zion=a stone

That causes people to stumble=

 

And a rock that makes them fall=and

The one who BELIEVES IN HIM=

Will never be put to shame’”                                                                                                Romans 9:33

 

You will NEVER be commended=

For doubting God=but if

 

You believe in him=if you

HAVE DIVINE BELIEF!=and take COMFORT

In God=you may see=SOME MIRACLES

In your life

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER DIVINE=miracle working=Holy Father God!

Did you ever NOTICE=an athlete=Does NOT just show up=For the game=Or for the

Marathon race?=They TRAIN=It is the SAME WAY=with OUR MEETING=with the LORD!=

We need to PREPARE=For that MASS=Or for that CHRISTIAN SERVICE=On Sunday=Or

Whatever day=Of the week that that is=We need TO PREPARE=to meet the LORD=In

PRAYER=Or for our Inheritance in HEAVEN!=Are you PREPARED to meet OUR LORD?

 

“The foolish ones=WHEN taking their lamps=Brought NO OIL with them=But the WISE=

Brought flasks=Of oil=with their lamps”                                                                                             Matthew 25:3-4

PREPARE for the LORD!=Prepare for THAT DAY=He is coming back=and he is=JESUS IS!=

COMING back with The Father=Do NOT be like=Those five foolish virgins=Whose lights burned

Out=BE PREPARED=When the bridegroom comes back=Do not be foolish!=Be WISE and

PREPARE=Prepare for Prayer!=and PREPARE FOR YOUR living/loving GOD OF LOVE!

“YOU PREPARE a table=before  me=IN the presence of my enemies=You anoint my head=

WITH OIL=My cup overflows”                                                                                                              Psalm 23:5

“Therefore this is what=I will do to you Israel=and because I will do this to you=Israel=PREPARE

OUR SPIRITUAL LIVES=in this world=are OUR TRAINING to meet Jesus=and HIS FATHER=as

Well as THE HOLY FAMILY in Heaven=It takes much TRAINING=It takes MUCH PREPARING=to

MEET our Jesus=Our LORD=should BE=with us every minute of the DAY=Spend your day with

Jesus and HIS FATHER=No matter what you are doing=Be IN TRAINING=for that eternal time=

OF YOUR LIFE=With the Lord=PREPARE FOR PRAYER!=Prepare for THE LORD!

 

Do you have A MANTRA=A PREPARATION PRAYER=That you say to yourself=ALL DAY LONG?=

Since I was a YOUNG BOY=I have always REPEATED to myself=and to the LORD=and HIS FATHER=

“EVERYTHING I am=Everything I could ever BE=Everything I will ever be=IS all because of you

LORD”=And so be it=That is the WAY=MY LIFE has turned out=and I would NOT change it=IF

I could==PREPARE to meet the Lord=Your LIFE=is your training place=for YOUR INHERITANCE=with The Lord and HIS FATHER!=”However as it is written=’What no eye has seen=What no ear has

Heard=and what NO human mind has conceived’=--------The things God has PREPARED for=those

Who LOVE HIM=--------”                                                                                                                  1 Corinthians 2:9

“For we are=God’s handiwork=Created in Christ Jesus=to do good works=Which GOD PREPARED=

In advance for us to do”                                                                                                                            Ephesians 2:10

“But in your hearts=Revere Christ as Lord=BE PREPARED to give an answer=To everyone who

Asks you=To give the Reason=for the HOPE=that you have=But do this=With gentleness=

For MASS/CHRISTIAN SERVICE on Sunday?/=Or even daily=What will be Your preparation for

ETERNITY in Heaven=With the Father and the Son?=Be like=THE WISE VIRGINS=Not like the

Foolish ones=BE PREPARED=at all times!

 

Dear Lord Above=We pray today=that you help us RECOGNIZE=That this earthly  life=IS OUR

PREPARATION=for our ETERNAL LIFE=with you in Heaven!

In Jesus’ name=and  in the name=Of our ever loving=EVER PREPARING=and our Ever  Living

Holy Father God!

PRAYER OF FAITH

 

I asked God for strength, that I might achieve 

But I was made weak, that I might humbly obey

 

I asked for health, that I might do great things

I was given infirmity, that I might know what is great

 

I asked God for riches, that I might be happy                                           

But I was given poverty, that I might be wise

 

I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men

I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God

 

I asked God for all things, that I might enjoy life

But I was given life, that I might enjoy all things

 

I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I needed

Almost in spite of myself, my prayers were answered

 

I am among all men, most richly blessed

Works are actions or accomplishments

Often in the sense of trying to please God

Through moral living

 

“And we know that in all things

God WORKS for the good of those who love him

“To prepare God’s people for WORKS of service

So that the body of Christ can be built up

Until we all reach UNITY in the faith

And the knowledge of the SON of God

And becoming mature

A MOTHER AND HER LOST CHILD

 

 

 

Do you know the story

Of Monica---and her lost child---Augustine

A Mother

With a lost grown-up child

 

Any mother---or any parent

For that matter

Knows the pain

Of having a child

Who has made some wrong decisions

And are on the road to destruction

 

They are unable to help themselves

And you their Mother ---their parent

Are unable to help them either

 

This is the story of two such people---Monica and Augustine

 

Monica was married to a pagan man

Or a nominal Christian at best

Her mother-in-law lived with them

And created further difficulties for her

 

Monica was the mother

Of 3 children

But it was her son, Augustine

Who brought her dismay

And ultimately great glory

 

Augustine was

Brought up a Christian by his mother

But was never baptized

 

Augustine completely turned away from God

And renounced the Christian faith

 

He became a notorious womanizer

And partier

He lived with a mistress

For 15 years

And even had a son

 

Monica was angry at him at first

Refused to even let him in to her house

But after awhile

Turned to God

With patience and prayer

For his conversion

 

She decided

To never ever give up on her child

 

I plead with you

As a mother

As a parent

To never ever give up

On your child

 

No matter

How much pain and suffering

They may be causing you

 

Augustine eventually

Returned to God

Became baptized

And went on to become

A Saint, and one of the great writers and thinkers

Of his time

And a Doctor of the church

 

ALL because

He had a mother---he had a parent

That refused

To give up on him

 

Saint Monica is seen

As the mother of ALL CHRISTIAN mothers

 

At her last illness, and death, she said,

 

“Nothing in this world

Now gives me pleasure

I so not know what there is left

For me to do

Or why I am still here

All my HOPES

In this world are now fulfilled”

 

Monica died a fulfilled mother---a fulfilled parent

 

I plead with you

To never ever give up on your child

 

To help them

With your patience and your prayers

 

AND TURN THEM OVER TO GOD

THE HIGHWAY TO NOWHERE

 

 

I’m on a highway to nowhere

Sometimes don’t even know where I’m coming from

Sometimes I don’t even care

Because I know where I’m at

And that is all I need

To curb my inner fears

 

You got to run your own race

You’re not in competition with anyone

So set your own pace

There’s miles to go before it’s over

So just relax

And along the way have some fun

 

Back on the highway to nowhere

All the cars go flying by

I’m tempted to try to pick up the pace

But then I let it slide

I’m just trying to stay within myself

I’m not reaching for the sky

 

The highway to nowhere

Where does it begin

Where does it end

How many of us know where we are going

How many of us know where we’ve been

 

I’ve been on the highway to nowhere
Too many times in my life

I’ll be on the highway to nowhere

Probably too many times again

But right now I’m in the pits

Charting a highway to somewhere

So I know where I’m at

And that’s all I need

To curb my inner fears

 

You have to run your race

You have to set your own pace

You’re not in competition with anyone

Your only goal should be to get there

And along the way to have some fun

 

Standing in the pits and looking out on to the highway to nowhere

All the people flying by

Think they’re getting ahead

But they keep going around in circles

Over and over and over again

Wonder if they know where they began

Wonder if they know they’ll never reach the end

 

Back on the highway to nowhere

But I think I’m going somewhere

Because I’m running my own race

I’m setting my own pace

Some people keep passing me over and over again

But they keep winding up behind me

They don’t even know where they’ve been

That’s the way it is

On the highway to nowhere

WHAT WE NEED MOST=IS THAT HUMAN TOUCH!

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT WE NEED MOST=IS THAT HUMAN TOUCH=

(and THE GOOD NEWS=Of our LOVING GOD)!

 

WE live in=The technological AGE=My sisters and MY BROTHERS=and there are

A LOT=Of benefits in that=Many wonderous things=Have Happened=But many other

Beautiful things=have BEEN LOST=WHAT WE NEED MOST=in this world=Is GOD’S LOVE

And that HUMAN TOUCH!

“Let NO ONE=Deceive you in any way”                                                                                     2 Thessalonians 2:3

 

I FIND=this technological age=a little bit frightening==It is indescribable=HOW GOOD=

Artificial Intelligence(A1) has become=But there is SOMETHING MISSING=and it is=THE

LOVE of God=and the LOVE for One another=WHAT WE NEED MOST=IN THIS WORLD=Right now=

Is THAT HUMAN TOUCH!=We need the GOOD NEWS=and Love of our God!=”He who is=The glory

Of Israel=Does not lie or change=His mind=for he is not=A HUMAN BEING=That he should change=

His mind”                                                                                                                                                1 Samuel 15:29

“Peter and the other apostles replied’=’We must obey God=Rather than

HUMAN BEINGS!’”                                                                                                                               Acts 5:29

“For prophecy=Never had its origin in=THE HUMAN WILL=But prophets=Though human=

Spoke from God=as they were carried along by=THE HOLY SPIRIT”                             2 Peter 1:21

 

WE NEED=THAT HUMAN TOUCH!=My brothers and sisters=We need the LOVE OF GOD=We

Need the LOVE of one another=We need KINDNESS=We need forgiveness=We need compassion!

Technology=Artificial Intelligence  can provide=NOT any of those things=WE NEED HUMANITY=

And ALL of its pitfalls=WE NEED=THAT HUMAN TOUCH!

“Since the children=have  flesh and blood=He too shared IN THEIR HUMANITY=so that by

His death=He might break the power=Of Him Who holds the=Power of death=--------that is the

Devil=--------and FREE those who all=Their lives were held=in slavery=

By the fear of death”                                                                                                                        Hebrews 2:14

 

At the END=of the  day=and at THE BEGINNING of it too=We need to recognize that=NO

TECHNOLOGY=Can provide LOVE=THE love of a Loving God=Like Jesus and THE HOLY FATHER=

Nor the love=OF ONE HUMAN BEING=for another=We need always=We need that HUMAN TOUCH!=That only Jesus and OUR family and friends can PROVIDE=

“Look at my hands and feet=It is I myself!=TUCH ME and see=a ghost does NOT=have flesh

And bones=as you see I have”                                                                                                          Luke 24:39

“Therefore’=’Come out from them=and be separate=says the Lord=TOUCH no unclean

Thing=and I will receive you’”                                                                                                         2 Corinthians 6:17

“Since you died with Christ=to the elemental spiritual forces=Of this world=Why as though=You

Still belonged=to the world=Do you SUBMIT to its rules”                                                    Colossians 2:20-21

 

Dear LORD=we Pray=as your 21^st century brothers and sisters=and  as YOUR APOSTLES=To

OPEN our eyes=to open OUR HEARTS=and to SHARE with each other=THE HOPE of love=and

The Hope of Jesus Christ=and the FATHER=For we know=What we need MOST=is NOT

Technology=But the LOVE of the Lord and HIS FATHER=and the HUMAN TOUCH of our SISTERS=and OUR BROTHERS!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of OUR EVER LOVING=our ever living=and our EVER

TOUCHING=Holy Father God!
