FAITH IS THE CATALYST!


It is said
That the message
“DO NOT FEAR”


Is WRITTEN 365 times
In the bible


Yes=once for every day=
Every day
That we wake up-
And make NO MISTAKE
About it


Every day BRINGS with it
Something to fear


“But Jesus came and touched them-
Saying='Rise
And do NOT BE AFRAID'” Matthew 17:7


But WHATEVER our fears are=
We can get through them=
Because we have faith


And FAITH
IS THE CATALYST!


MOST often the fear
That we have
Is MUCH WORSE
Than what we
Are facing


Every day fears?
Do NOT be afraid


FAITH IS THE CATALYST!
To keep on going


“HAVE FAITH
In the Lord
Your God


And you
Will be upheld=
Have FAITH


In his prophets
And you will be successful” 2 Chronicles 20:20


“He listened to Paul
As he was speaking


Paul looked
Directly at him
And saw that he
Had the FAITH
To be healed” Acts 14:9


“For in the gospel
The righteousness of God
Is revealed--------


A righteousness
That is BY FAITH
From first to last


Just as it is written
'The righteous
WILL LIVE BY FAITH'” Romans 1:17


Jesus says=
“RISE=and do not
Be afraid”


NOTICE that we have
To RISE AGAIN=
The the COURAGE
Will come


FAITH is the catalyst!=
We cannot AFFORD to wait
Until we feel BRAVE


Right now=the PRESENT MOMENT
Is the only
SAFE PLACE that we have


But FAITH IS THE CATALYST!


“But my righteous one
Will LIVE BY FAITH


And I take no pleasure
In the one
Who shrinks back” Hebrews 10:38


LOVE casts out all fear=
But it is OUR FAITH
That KEEPS us going


FAITH IS THE CATALYST!

MAKING A COVENANT WITH GOD


All AGREEMENTS between
Two parties=are SPECIAL
Because they take COMMITMENT


They take giving and receiving
By BOTH PARTIES


But a COVENANT with God
Is extra special=as
WITNESSED by Jesus=with
God the Father=a covenant
Of blood


“Today you have
ACCEPTED the Lord's AGREEMENT........And


Today the Lord
Has accepted your agreement” Deuteronomy 26:17-18


I made a living=and loving
AGREEMENT with God the Father and Jesus=
Just after bleeding internally=and my
BLOOD COUNT going down to three


I PROMISED God to “LIVE
For my family=friends=and all
People everywhere”


I have NEVER FORGOT
That promise=and I think
Of it=at least ONCE
Every day


There are so MANY days
That I want to GIVE UP=
But my personal promise
To God
KEEPS ME GOING


But it is JESUS' COVENANT
That is important=and
The covenant=of the people
Of Israel= with God


Noah had a covenant
With God too


“I establish MY COVENANT
With you=
Never again


Will all life be destroyed
By the waters
Of a flood


Never again
Will there
Be a flood
To destroy the earth” Genesis 9:11


“'The days are coming'
Declares the Lord
'When I will make
A NEW COVENANT


With the people
Of Israel=
And with the people
Of Judah'” Jeremiah 31:31


“For this reason
Christ is the MEDIATOR
Of a NEW COVENANT


That those who
Are called
May receive


The PROMISED eternal inheritance........--------


Now that he has died
As a ransom
To set them free


From the sins
Committed under
The FIRST COVENANT” Hebrews 9:15


Dear Lord=we PRAY
That we are able
To KEEP OUR PROMISES
And that
We are able to
Keep our COVENANTS WITH YOU


Like our dear Lord
JESUS DID


No matter the cost
Mo matter the pain


In the NAMES of our dear Lord Jesus=and the FATHER=the KEEPER of ALL PROMISES

BE RECONCILED WITH EVERYONE!

BE RECONCILED WITH EVERYONE!


I hate it=WHEN
I am not on GOOD TERMS
With someone=
I hate it
When a RELATIONSHIP
Seems out of sorts


BE RECONCILED with everyone!


We are STILL in the
First week of Lent=
And the prophet Ezekiel today
Seems to want to
SCARE US STRAIGHT


“Do I indeed derive
Any pleasure
From the death
Of the wicked?” Ezekiel 18:23


Ezekiel wants us
To PAY ATTENTION


He seems to be saying
BLESS an evil man=
IF he turns
From his wicked ways


But is it really
ETERNAL DAMNATION=if a
GOOD man turns to evil?


That is what he seems
To be saying


But Jesus' command
Is even MORE CHALLENGING


“If you bring
Your gift
To the altar


And there RECALL
That your brother
Has anything against you


Leave YOUR GIFT
At the altar


Go first
And BE RECONCILED
With your brother


And then come
And offer your gift” Matthew 5:23-24


This is INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT
For all of us


I want ALL my relationships
With everyone
To be ON GOOD TERMS


I want to LOVE GOD=
And love my neighbor
I want to


BE RECONCILED
With my brothers and sisters
In Christ


I want to be reconciled
WITH EVERYONE


“For if while
We were God's enemies
We were RECONCILED
To him


Through the death
Of his SON


How much more
Having been RECONCILED
Shall we be saved
THROUGH HIS LIFE” Romans 5:10


“All this is
From God
Who RECONCILED US


To himself through Christ
And gave us the
Ministry of RECONCILIATION” 2 Corinthians 5:18


It seems increasingly IMPOSSIBLE
That any of us
CAN BE RECONCILED-
With everyone


But IF it is ever
GOING TO HAPPEN
It will be in LENT


Right where we are


Let us get DOWN
On our knees and PRAY
To be RECONCILED
Right now


With God and
EVERYONE ELSE

And see HOW GOD
Can brighten your day


Increase your PRESENCE
Within us today Lord=
Let us FEEL YOU
All day long


NOT all of our prayers
Get answered=
In ways
That we like


But here is ONE
That will ALWAYS be answered


“Dear Lord
May we become
More AWARE


Of your LOVING PRESENCE
INSIDE our minds and heart


And may WE IMITATE you forever
In our love
FOR ALL OTHERS”


May we imitate and FOLLOW
You today dear Lord=
And imitate you
ALL the days
Of our life


“Therefore=I urge you
To IMITATE ME” 1 Corinthians 4:16


“We do not
Want you to become lazy


But to IMITATE those
Who through faith and patience
INHERIT what
Has been promised” Hebrews 6:12


“Dear friend=
Do not IMITATE
What is evil


But what is GOOD=
Anyone who does
What is good
Is from GOD” 3 John:11


When we ask God
To INCREASE
His presence in us


He surely does so


The MORE we imitate God
The more we RSPOND to
God's desire


The more we WILL KNOW
The tremendous joy=of
Our ONESNESS with God


It takes time though=
We need to be PATIENT
With God=and with ourselves


He will RESPOND to us
And bring us
HIS PRESENCE


“Remember your leaders
Who spoke
The word of God to you


Consider the outcome
Of their way and IMITATE
Their FAITH” Hebrews 13:7


Dear Lord=INCREASE
Your PRESENCE in us
FOREVER and ever

How many TIMES
When something happens=
Or WHEN we see a story
On television=do we say-
“What is this world
COMING TO?”


So often
We WONDER
About the path
Of human kind


And wonder whether our planet
Is just
CONTINUING to spin
OUT OF CONTROL


But through Isaiah today
We get WORDS
Of DIVINE REASSURANCE


God's word does go out
And it does
ACCOMPLISH its purpose


GOD DOES have a purpose
For you and me
And a PURPOSE
For all of CREATION


“Many are the plans
In a person's heart


But it is
The LORD'S PURPOSE
That prevails” Proverbs 19:21


“So is my word
That goes out
From my mouth


It will NOT return
To me empty
But will accomplish


What I desire=
And achieve the PURPOSE
For which I sent it” Isaiah 55:11


“And we know
That in all things=
God works
For the Lord


Of those who love him
And have been called
ACCORDING to his PURPOSE” Romans 8:28


The PLAN
For the purpose
Of this world


Is vast
And BEYOND our comprehension


But I know
It involves sin and restitution=
Drought and ABUNDANCE
And sorrow and JOY


But above all
This world
Is all ABOUT LOVE


And God's love
For each and EVERYONE OF US


“Let LOVE and faithfulness
Never leave you


Bind them
Around your neck=
Write them


On the tablet
Of your HEART” Proverbs 3:3


God's PURPOSE for you and me
And for all salvation
IS LOVE=for each
AND EVERYONE OF US


In Jesus' name=and our FOREVER=ALL LOVING GOD

SUSTAIN US LORD!


Are you getting ready this Lent
For Jesus?
Are you getting
ALL REVVED UP?


Are you getting into
PRAYER-fasting-and alms giving?
DOING all the things=
To get READY=for the Lord


“I am the LORD” Isaiah 55:11


Maybe we are TIRED
Of a list of rules=
Maybe we are just
Trying to FREE OURSELVES
For the coming
Of the Lord


But today we read
Leviticus=which is LEGISLATIVE=
And reminds us NOT
To just skip
OVER the rules


Leviticus reminds us to
DIG DEEPER into the
Rules of God
And to be HOLY


“The Lord
Said to Moses
'Speak to
The entire assembly
Of Israel
And say to them


'BE HOLY
Because I the Lord
Your God=am HOLY'” Leviticus 19:1-2


Lord=we PRAY to you
To SUSTAIN us this LENT=
That we do follow you-
Because you are indeed HOLY


Help us to pray=fast=
And give alms giving=
And to be HOLY
Just like you


“Your ways God
Are HOLY


What God
Is as great
As our God?” Psalm 77:13


“But the Lord Almighty
Will be exalted
By his justice


And the HOLY GOD
Will be proved HOLY
By his righteous acts” Isaiah 5:16


The laws of Leviticus
And the Lord
CAN be far more demanding
Than we realize


STRETCHING out our commitment
To life
And to ONE ANOTHER


Four times today=
In Leviticus
We hear the proclamation
“I AM THE LORD”


HE is the Lord
And we are not
He is holy=and may we
Follow him during
This Lenten season


“Therefore I urge you
Brothers and sisters


In view of God's mercy
To offer your bodies
As a living sacrifice


HOLY and pleasing to God--------
This is your true
And proper worship” Romans 12:1


May these four words
“I am the Lord”


SUSTAIN YOU
During your Easter walk
This Lent


SUSTAIN US O Lord==
This Easter and BEYOND

COME TO DO=THE FATHER'S WILL

COME TO DO=THE FATHER'S WILL


Jesus came to DO
The FATHER'S WILL=
And he lived UP
To it


So do we=
We ALL come to do
The Father's will


But so many of us
Just don't get it


“Then Jesus was LED
By the SPIRIT


Into the desert
To be TEMPTED
By the devil” Matthew 4:1


Jesus didn't give in
To the world
And he didn't
GIVE IN to the devil


BEFORE beginning his PUBLIC MINISTRY=
Jesus went into the
Harsh Judean desert
And he was TESTED


And he PASSED
EVERY TEST


We can ONLY IMAGINE
How weak and vulnerable
He felt at the end
Of those days


But DOING the will of God
Was on his MIND=
As it should be
On ours


“I desire
To do YOUR WILL-
My God


Your law
Is within my heart” Psalm 40:8


“Anyone who chooses
To do the WILL OF GOD
Will find out


Whether my teaching
Comes from God
Or whether I
Speak on my own” John 7:17


“It is GOD'S WILL
That you
Should be sanctified


That you should
Avoid sexual immorality” 1 Thessalonians 4:3


Satan saw his chance
To TEMPT Jesus=win
the people over


With a MAGIC SHOW=
Turning stones to bread-
Throwing himself off a cliff
And NOT getting hurt=
Etc., etc., etc.


But Jesus would have
NONE OF IT=
He came to do
THE FATHER'S WILL


Which included opposition,
Rejection=and a PAINFUL death
On the cross


Satan slinked away=
Just looking for
ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY


“Then I said='Here I am
It is written
About me=in the scroll


I have come to do
YOUR WILL--------my God'” Hebrews 10:7


We need to FOLLOW
Our Lord too


If we TURN AWAY
From sin-
And believe
The good news


We will have= a TIME
Of SPIRITUAL RENEWAL
This Lent


In the name of JESUS OUR LORD!
