THE LORD LIVES!

 

THE LORD LIVES!

We have all EXPERIENCED

Death in our lives

We have LOST parents=a spouse=

A child=a friend=and MANY other

Members of our FAMILY

Today we CELEBRATE

The feast of Saint

Mary Magdalene

Imagine the SORROW of Mary

Weeping outside the empty grave=

BELIEVING not only

Her master and teacher was DEAD-

But that his body

Was stolen=then she SAW HIM!

“Jesus said to her 'Mary!'”                                                                                              John 20:16

She encounters someone

She thinks is a STRANGER=

UNTIL he calls her

By name

Imagine the TENDERNESS

In that word “MARY”=

Imagine how SHOCKED Mary is=

To HEAR her name

Mary recognizes the Lord

Has CONQUERED death

WITH LOVE

THE LORD LIVES!=

Jesus is ALIVE!

“The world cannot accept him-

Because it neither sees him

Nor knows him=

But you know him

For he LIVES WITH YOU

And will be in you”                                                                                            John 14:17

Mary was in Jesus=

For they LOVED each other

As a friend

LOVES A FRIEND

And Jesus is in us

For we LOVE HIM TOO

“I have been crucified

With Christ=

And I no longer live=

But Christ LIVES IN ME

The life I now live

I live in the body

I live by faith

In the SON of God

Who loved me

And gave himself for me”                                                                                     Galatians 2:20

“This is how

We know what love is

Jesus Christ laid down his life

For us=

And we ought

To lay down OUR LIVES

For our brothers and sisters”                                                                                      1 John 3:16

The Lord Jesus Christ

LIVES in all of us

Who BELIEVE IN HIM

Imagine the JOY

With which Mary

Hurried back to the apostles

Who loved him=and

WERE feeling DOWN and DEPRESSED too

Mary carries this SAME MESSAGE

Back to us today

The LORD LIVES

And life as we know it

Has been TRANSFORMED

“I know

That my REDEEMER LIVES

And that in the end

He will stand

On the earth”                                                                                                                   Job 19:25

KEEP on believing=

The LORD STILL LIVES TODAY

We will recognize his JOY and presence

Again in this world

In Jesus' name=and in the name of our FOREVER LIVING FATHER

A PROMISE

 

January 5th

 

“A Promise”

 

 

Promises made

Promises given

No matter how we try

To get away

It’s that promise

That makes life

Worth living

 

It can’t be denied

It can’t be taken back

It’s part of who we are

And if we tried

To take that promise back

Much of ourselves

We would lack

 

Promises made

Promises given

As long as we are alive

It is our promise

That makes our life worth living

 

It is part of

Who we are

It is in our heart

It is in our soul

Without that promise

Much of ourselves

We would lack

 

A promise made

A promise given

It is who we are

And it has made our life

Worth living

LIVE WITH HOPE=NEVER ALONE!

 

LIVE WITH HOPE=NEVER ALONE!

 

WHEN I was in

The hospital=the other day

It came to mind

 

That whatever CIRCUMSTANCES

We are living with=

That we are NEVER ALONE!

Jesus walks EVERY STEP

Of our lives=with us

 

“……..the people

Who sit in darkness

Have seen a GREAT LIGHT

 

On those dwelling

In a land=overshadowed by death

LIGHT HAS ARISEN”                                                                                                                  Matthew 4:16

 

I felt so sick last week

I just didn’t know=

But it came to MIND

 

That death COULDN’T CONQUER Jesus

And if our yokes are

TIED to Christ=

Death cannot conquer us either

We will live forever

IF=we are with the Lord

 

As Christians=with our yokes

Tied to Jesus=we are to be

MODERN DAY APOSTLES

Modern day disciples with the Lord

We are=to LIVE WITH HOPE!

 

“And now Lord=

What am I waiting for?

MY HOPE is in thee”                                                                                                       Psalm 39:7

 

“And have HOPE=toward God

Which they themselves

Also allow=that there

 

Shall be a resurrection

Of the dead=

Both of the just=and unjust”                                                                                   Acts 24:15

 

As I lay there

In my hospital room

All alone=BUT NOT

 

I KNOW our God the Father

I know our Jesus=was with me

And I know

ALL of you=were with me too

 

I could feel

ALL of you=and I could feel

All of your PRAYERS

 

We are NEVER ALONE!

With God=we are never alone

When we are=LIVING WITH HOPE!

 

“To him=who ALONE

Does great wonders=

For his mercy=endures forever”                                                                                          Psalm 136:4

 

So WHATEVER cloud of darkness

Or uncertainty=or despair

That you have

 

Take confidence=in knowing

We are NEVER ALONE!

God the Holy Father=and

His Son Jesus=walk with us

EVERY STEP of the way

 

So continue=to LIVE WITH=

And walk with HOPE!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our HOLY FATHER GOD=who are ALWAYS WITH US!

A REMINDER OF WHO WE ARE

 

 

Sometimes

We need not be instructed

So much

As reminded

As to who we are

 

 

We need to be

CONSTANTLY reminded

That we are

CHILDREN OF GOD

 

“Yet to all

Who received him

To those

Who believed in his name

He gave the right

To become children of God-

 

Children born

Not of natural descent

-nor of human decision

Or a husband’s will

BUT BORN OF GOD”                                         1 Luke:12-13

 

We need

To hear again and again

That we are

CHILDREN OF GOD

That Christ

Gave his body-soul-and spirit

For ALL of us

 

In the Epistle of Saint Paul

We hear the term-

“IN CHRIST”-155 times

 

“So “in Christ” all will be made alive”                 1 Corinthians 15:22

 

Christ didn’t live and die for the Jewish faith

For the Catholic faith

For the Christian faith

BUT FOR ALL

 

“These are a shadow

Of the things

That were to come

 

The reality-however

Is found IN CHRIST”                                             Colossians 2:17

 

And on and on and on

 

Truly Children of God

IN CHRIST

 

Life-by definition-must be lived

And the reality is

That God is in each of us

That God’s life is in us

And that God is our FATHER

 

The reality is

That God is MADLY in love with you

That he is living in you

And he loves you

“Like there is no one else”

 

He gives us his heart

And he gives us a home

He prepares a place

For us to come and live with him

At the end of our lives

 

                   HEAVEN

 

A place

Where we can

Live in perfect happiness

And in eternal communion with HIM

 

“Their mind is on earthly things

But our citizenship is in heaven”                                       Philippians 3:19-20

 

We are heirs

Truly heirs

To the Kingdom of God

 

There once was a nurse

Who married a common man

During the war

 

After the war

She found out

He was Lord of the manor

With servants

And endless wealth

 

And she cried

And she cried

TEARS OF JOY

 

“Why didn’t you tell me?” she said

“I wanted you to love me for myself,” he responded

 

And that

Is how we will be

When we-CHILDREN OF GOD

Enter our home with our Father

 

“The spirit himself

Testifies that we are God’s children”                                         Romans 8:16

 

Now if we are God’s children

Then we are his heirs

Heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ

And if indeed we share in his sufferings

We will ALSO SHARE in his glory

 

Dear Lord-WE YOUR CHILDREN

Pray that your light

Will be seen in us

January 4^th

 

“For the Glory of God”

 

 

I live

For the glory of God

I love

For the glory of God

Everything I do is

For the glory of  God

 

I’m trying to buy some time

I’m looking all around

But it doesn’t matter how much money I have

Time keeps moving on

But I still keep living

For the Glory of God

 

It seems I’m a prisoner in this life

With my health the way it is

I know I’ll never have a normal life

But that wasn’t my decision

It was his

 

I don’t have very much money

Soon I won’t have a car

There’s a good chance I may never have a wife

And along with that

Goes the hopes for kids

 

I really can’t live for today

With my health the way it is

But I keep going out every day

To do the best I can

Why do I do it

 

Because I live

For the glory of God

Because I love

For the glory of God

Because everything I do is

For the glory of God

 

I know I can’t live for today

But I keep telling myself maybe there’s a way

That someday things will change

And not to worry

About this time you couldn’t buy or borrow

Because if things do change

The world will still be there tomorrow

 

I keep believing

For the glory of God

I keep on loving

For the glory of God

Everything I do is

For the glory of God

 

Even if I never have a tomorrow

I’ll keep looking to unlock the door

All the time I’m looking

My positive energy will be being restored

And though I can’t live for myself today

I’ll still try to make others happy

For without a wife

If there’s a woman out there who needs a lover or a friend

I can give her my whole heart and soul for a night

And try to make her feel right again

And without my own kids

All the children I meet

I’ll try to show them all my love

Like they were my very own

Something they might otherwise never see

 

Well whatever happens

I’ll keep on living

For the glory of God

I’ll keep on loving

For the glory of God

Whatever I do is

For the glory of God

 

I live

For the glory of God

HEALTH UPDATE=KEEP ON BELIEVING!

 

HEALTH UPDATE=KEEP ON BELIEVING!

 

Many thank yous=to ALL of you

For the prayers=and getting me THROUGH

This most recent health situation

 

After consulting=with my Doctor=

We are forgoing=the final three

Radiation treatments

 

Despite everything=going on

In this world=

Remember=GOD IS GOOD!=

And=KEEP ON BELIEVING!

In the goodness of life

 

“BELIEVE in the Lord

Your God=so shall

You be established

 

BELIEVE his prophets

So shall you prosper”                                                                                                  2 Chronicles 20:20

 

“And whoever lives=and BELIEVES

In me=shall never die

Do you BELIEVE THIS?”                                                                                                John 11:26

 

This PAST WEEK between

Christmas 2021=and New Years 2022

Was ONE of the

TOUGHEST weeks of my life=the worst

Since 1977=I think

 

And I didn’t know

If I was going

To make it through

 

But Jesus fought it all

And KEPT ON BELIEVING!

Until the very end=I will too!

 

Jesus is my love

Jesus is MY INSPIRATION=

KEEP ON BELIEVING!

In the GOODNESS of our God

 

KEEP on believing in life=

And take it ONE DAY

At a time

I LOVE GOD!

I LOVE ALL OF YOU!

 

And I hope=you all

BELIEVE in me=and love me too

 

“But there is

A spirit in man

 

And the INSPIRATION

Of the Almighty=gives them understanding”                                                                          Job 32:8

 

“All scripture is given

BY INSPIRATION of God

 

And is profitable for doctrine

For reproof=for correction=

For instruction in righteousness”                                                                                       2 Timothy 3:16

 

Lastly=I want to say

HAPPY NEW YEAR!=for 2022

I appreciate you guys=every one of you

And I love you

 

BETTER DAYS are ahead!

KEEP ON BELIEVING IN GOD!

Keep on believing

In the goodness of life=and keep on

BELIEVING IN EACH OTHER

 

TOGETHER=we can make it

Through anything=and everything

I got HOME from the hospital last night=after six days in the HOSPITAL=due to an intestinal obstruction=

That is why NO e-mails or facebook responses

 

LOVE YOU ALL+and THANK YOU for your continued prayers

GOD DOES INDEED have a PLAN for us=and it is all GOOD
