WILL WE GO TOO?

 

WILL WE GO TOO?

 

Jesus was absolutely DETERMINED

To COMPLETE the mission=that God

HIS HOLY FATHER=Gave him

Nothing=was going to stop him

 

The QUESTION IS=

WILL WE GO=with Jesus too?

Many of us=are CARRYING heavy burdens

Many crosses=RIGHT NOW

 

BE DETERMINED=

To fight through them

To complete YOUR MISSION

Just like Jesus did

 

“…….Jesus and his disciples

Were PROCEEDING=on their journey…….”                                                                              Luke 9:57

 

“Jesus was=”RESOLUTELY DETERMINED

TO JOURNEY to Jerusalem”                                                                                                        Luke 9:51

 

Loneliness=is the

WORST FEELING=in this world

Maybe even worse=than physical sufferings

 

As you MOVE FORWARD=with your life

REALIZE=Jesus has already walked the walk

We are walking

 

UNITE with Jesus=offer

Your SUFFERINGS up to God-

The Holy Father=and Jesus

WILL WE GO TOO?

 

“For if we have been

UNITED WITH HIM=in a death

Like his

 

We will certainly be

UNITED WITH HIM=in

A resurrection like his”                                                                                                          Romans 6:5

 

“Therefore=if you have=any encouragement

FROM BEING UNITED

With Christ

 

IF any comfort from his love

If any common sharing

Of the Spirit………”                                                                                                                  Philippians 2:1

 

“My goal is that

They are encouraged in heart=and

UNITED in love

 

So that=they may have

The full richness=of complete understanding……..”                                                          Colossians 2:2

 

We don’t have to die

To BE=UNITED with Jesus

 

We can carry our crosses

IN LIFE=anad UNITE all of our SUFFERINGS

With the Lord’s

WILL WE GO TOO?

 

“The he said=to them all

‘Whoever wants to be

My disciple=must deny themselves

 

And take up THEIR CROSSES DAILY

And follow me’”                                                                                                                         Luke 9:23

 

So pick UP your crosses

In this life

And keep moving FORWARD

UNITING=your crosses with Jesus’

 

WILL WE GO TOO?

We will=if we

Are the disciples=of

The God-man=Jesus Christ

 

Keep the faith=

STAY on the PATH

Of God and Jesus=and keep moving forward

 

Will you/I/WE=GO TOO

WITH THE LORD?

CAN YOU BE CONVICTED?

Is there EVIDENCE in your life=

That says

You are a CHRISTIAN?

Is there ENOUGH evidence

To PROVE IT?

In your life=

In your home

In who you ASSOCIATE with?

“So now consider

What he has

DONE for you

And praise him

With full voice”                                                                                                          Tobit 13:6

Do you have PICTURES of

Jesus and the HOLY FAMILY

In your home?

Do you have a

BIBLE and prayer books

In your home?

Is there evidence

Of God in your life?

Is there EVIDENCE of God

In what you say

And do?

LIVE LIFE like you mean it=

Live life

Like you are a CHRISTIAN

Can you be CONVICTED

Of being a CHRISTIAN?

“Believe in me

When I say

That I am

In the Father

And the Father

Is in me

Or at least believe

ON THE EVIDENCE

Of the works themselves”                                                                                 John 14:11

“Let your gentleness

BE EVIDENT to all=

The Lord is near”                                                                                                   Philippians 4:5

DON'T be ashamed of your faith=

Let the SIGNS of God

And of Christ

SHINE in your life

Let the evidence

SHOW

That you are a CHRISTIAN

Don't be ashamed

Of being CONVICTED OF THIS

“We have come

To share in Christ

If indeed we hold

Our original CONVICTIONS

To the very end”                                                                                                   Hebrews 3:14

“For I am CONVINCED

That neither death nor life

Neither angels or demons

Neither the present

Nor the future

Nor any powers

Neither height nor depth

Nor anything else

In all creation

Will be able

To separate us

From the love of God

That is in Christ Jesus”                                                                                         Romans 8:38-39

PRAISE GOD in every circumstance

In your life=let the WORLD

See who you are

YES I am a CHRISTIAN=

And I am damn proud of it

Are you?

Let it be EVIDENT in ALL

That we are and do

TEARS AND SADNESS

TURNED TO JOY AND GLADNESS

 

 

My tears and sadness

Have been turned to

Tears of joy and gladness

 

How did it happen

By faith

By faith in God

By remaining patient in God

All through the storm

 

Nothing changed on

The outside of me

But something changed within

My tears and sadness

Have been turned to

Tears of joy and gladness

 

How did it happen

By faith

By faith in God

By remaining in God

All through the storm

 

Tears and sadness

Turned to

Tears of joy and gladness

 

Changed by God

Changed by faith

Changed forever more

MOVING ON=WITH OUR JOURNEY!

 

MOVING ON=WITH OUR JOURNEY

 

WE are all=

On a JOURNEY=through this life

And with our journey

Comes setbacks and difficulties

 

It is up to us

To fight through these

By staying CLOSE to God

And close to Jesus=and then

CONTINUING ON=WITH OUR JOURNEY

That is=what Jesus did

 

“On they way=they entered

A Samaritan village to prepare

For his reception there

But they=Would NOT WELCOME him

 

Because the destination

Of his JOURNEY=was Jerusalem

 

When the disciples=James and John saw this

They asked=

‘Lord=do you want us=to call down

Fire from heaven=to consume them?’

 

Jesus turned and rebuked them

And they JOURNEYED=to another village”                                                                            Luke 9:52-56

 

For ethics and religious reasons-

The Samaritans and Jews=

Were OPPOSED to one another

But Jesus did not let this=stop him

 

MANY of us

Are UNWELCOMED by others

In today’s world

For all kinds=of REASONS

 

But we have to

ACCEPT them anyway

Just like Jesus did

 

Don’t respond to another

With contempt=like many of us do

In this world

 

Picture Jesus

LOOK at them lovingly

And CONTINUE=move on

WITH your journey=Just like Jesus

MOVING ON=WITH OUR JOURNEY

 

We have to treat others

WITH RESPECT=and if

They don’t treat us that way

CONTINUE ON=WITH OUR/YOUR JOURNEY

 

“TREAT younger men=as brothers

Older women as mothers

And younger women=as sisters

With absolute purity”                                                                                                           1 Timothy 5:1-2

 

“Husbands=in the same way

Be considerate=as you live

With your wives=AND TREAT THEM

With respect…….”                                                                                                               1 Peter 3:7

 

Try to picture Jesus

MOVING ON=with the/HIS JOURNEY

Just do the same

 

“”Therefore my dear friends=

You have always obeyed--------

 

Not only my presence

But now much more=in my absence-------

CONTINUE to work

 

Out your salvation=with fear and trembling

For it is God

Who works in You=in order

To fulfill his good purpose”                                                                                     2 Philippians 2:12-13

 

My dear friends=

Don’t COUNTERATTACK your opposition

ON THIS JOURNEY=picture Jesus

And move on with LOVE

MOVING ON=WITH OUR JOURNEY!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS LOVING Holy Father God!

PRACTICE BELIEVING!

Sometimes-in life-we HAVE

To PRACTICE BELIEVING

What we WANT to COME TRUE

In our life

For what we SEE in

Our FUTURE=what we actually ENVISION

Does actually HAPPEN

“I like a GREEN olive tree

In the HOUSE OF God

TRUST in

The MERCY OF GOD

Forever and ever”                                                                                                 Psalm 52:10

I BELIEVE in the

MERCY of God

I believe in

GOD'S PLAN-for my life

PRACTICE BELIEVING

“Jesus said to her,

'I am the RESURRECTION

And the LIFE

The ONE

Who BELIEVES in me

Will LIVE-even though

They die

And whoever LIVES

By believing in me

Will never die

DO YOU believe this?”                                                                                               John 11:25-26

I DO BELIEVE this=and I

Have LIVED my whole life

By my FAITH in God and in Jesus

“To live for my family-friends-

And ALL PEOPLE everywhere”

Today's psalmist tells us=

That there is MUCH in

This world that

CAN frighten us

And that there are

MANY people in this world

Who believe in evil

Rather than good

But the psalmist also 

Tells us=that those who believe

Are like an OLIVE TREE

FLOURISHING=in the HOUSE of God

PRACTICE BELIEVING=KEEP on believing

There is a FUTURE=for

Those who believe

We TRUST in GOD'S MERCY

These words are TRUE FOREVER

God's MERCY ENDURES for us=forever

“ALL the believers

Were ONE in heart and mind

No one CLAIMED

That any of their possessions

Was their own

But they SHARED everything

They had”                                                                                                                 Acts 4:32

“MY brothers and sisters=

BELIEVERS in our GLORIOUS

Lord Jesus Christ

Must NOT show favoritism”                                                                                       James 2:1

My friends=PRACTICE BELIEVING!

Practice loving God=

And all others

Let the LOVE of Jesus

FLOURISH in you

And make PLANS

Tot TRUST in the MERCY

OF GOD

Live FOREVER in him=and=

LET YOUR BELIEFS BECOME REALITY

In the name of Jesus OUR LORD=

It is a TOUGH WORLD

That we live in=the last

TWO YEARS demonstrate that

 

Covid=the war against the Ukraine=

And all the MEANNESS on

And in SOCIAL MEDIA

Between one another

 

But EVERYONE of us

Has a LOT to be

THANKFUL FOR=even if

It is just=OUR VERY OWN LIVES

 

BEING GRATEFUL=WITH WHATEVER COMES

In this world

 

“The Lord gave

And the Lord=has taken away

 

BLESSED BE

The name of the Lord”                                                                                                    Job 1:21

 

It is EASY to be THANKFUL

When everything is going GOOD

In our lives

 

When we are RECEIVING BLESSINGS=

Our family is healthy=and we

ARE DOING GOOD OURSELVES

 

But how CHALLENGING it can be

To be thankful to God

To feel gratitude

 

WHEN we are enduring serious health problems=

Our FRIENDSHIPS are breaking

Or when we LOSE our job

Or feel

The DEATH of a loved one

 

CAN WE still feel thankful?

BEING GRATEFUL+WITH WHATEVER COMES

 

“Therefore since we are

Receiving a kingdom

That cannot be shaken

 

LET US BE THANKFUL

And so worship God=

Accepting with reverence and awe

For our God=Is a consuming fire”                                                                                             Hebrews 12:28-29

 

The story of JOB

Tells BOTH sides to us

 

Job was living a life

Of privilege=and of BLESSINGS

 

But became submerged

With tragedy and misfortune

But Job RESPONDED=by saying words

Of acceptance

For what was UNFOLDING=in his life

Before later=wishing that he could die

 

BEING GRATEFUL=giving thanks

WITH WHATEVER COMES

 

“Enter his gates=WITH THANKSGIVING

And his courts with praise

GIVE THANKS to him=and praise his name”                                                                                     Psalm 100:4

 

“BUT THANKS=be to God

He gives us=the victory

Though our Lord Jesus Christ”                                                                                                  1 Corinthians 15:57

 

Dear Lord=WE PRAY

Let us continue=TO BE GRATEFUL

FOR WHATEVER COMES TODAY!

 

Help us to practice GRATITUDE

In whatever circumstances may come

In our lives today

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our Holy Father God=who DESERVES=all of OUR GRATITUDE!
