I gave this life my all

I am not afraid to fall

I have no wife

I don’t even have a honey

My life has been racked with strife

In this world there is much evil

Is so little kindness

The world is such

That I would be almost glad

To be leaving it

OUR MODEL=OUR PATTERN=OUR EXAMPLE!

 

OUR MODEL=OUR PATTERN=OUR EXAMPLE

 

Jesus is=OUR MODEL=OUR PATTERN=and

OUR EXAMPLE=for the world

He taught us

TO LOVE GOD=above all else=and to

LOVE ALL OTHERS!

Above everything else=even OURSELVES

 

“…….out of FEAR=I went off

And buried your talent=in the ground”                                                                                   Matthew 25:25

 

It is GOOD=to fear God=but

It is even BETTER=to love God

And to love Jesus=ABOVE all else

Above everything else in life

Just like Jesus

OUR MODEL=OUR PATTERN=and our EXAMPLE

 

Who is YOUR MODEL=your pattern=

Your example=for your life?

 

I think MOST OF US=think

We are GOOD=GENEROUS PEOPLE

But I don’t know that=that is TRUE

 

When we have so MUCH WEALTH

In this world=and yet

We have homeless people=we have STARVING PEOPLE

WHY are we not=following the GENEROSITY

Of our God’s love=in today’s world?

 

“And so=you BECAME A MODEL

To all the believers=in Macedonia

Achaia”                                                                                                                                1 Thessalonians 1:7

 

“We did this=not because

We do not have the right

To such help=but in order=to=

Offer ourselves=AS A MODEL

For you to imitate”                                                                                                        2 Thessalonians 3:9

 

That is right on=dear

Brothers and sisters=we are

TO IMITATE=the dear God of LOVE=

Our Holy Father=and his Son Jesus Christ

 

We are to be GENEROUS DISCIPLES

Of the Lord=Our loving=and PERFECT GOD

Jesus=OUR MODEL=OUR PATTERN=

And OUR EXAMPLE=of life itself

 

“Good will come=to those

WHO ARE GENEROUS=and lend freely

Who conduct their affairs=with justice”                                                                         Psalm 112:5

 

“THE GENEREOUS=will themselves

Be blessed=for they share their food

With the poor”                                                                                                                         Proverbs 22:9

 

“So I thought it necessary=

To urge the brothers=to visit you

In advance=and finish the arrangements

FOR THE GENEROUS GIFT=You had promised”                                                          2 Corinthians 9:5

 

That is right=MY FRIENDS

ALWAYS BE GENEROUS=with your love

Your time=your money=and your ENERGY

Just like Jesus was

THE PERFECT EXAMPLE=for us all

 

OPENING OUR HEARTS=just like Jesus=who is

OUR MODEL=OUR PATTERN=and our FOREVER

EXAMPLE OF LOVE!

 

He=Jesus=and the FATHER GOD

Wants us to=OPEN OUR HEARTS

And see their love=SHOW OUR LOVE

Just as they did

OUR MODELS=OUR PATTERNS=and OUR EXAMPLES!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=FOREVER LOVING

Forever SERVING=Holy Father God!

God this isn’t really fair

But for Christ to do

What he did, nobody cares

What is fair

And I know I’m complaining

And I know I need your help

Not only physical, but to cure my mental distress

 

I know this is just another test

But my confidence is waning

And I’m complaining

Ant this just isn’t right, to complain

But my faith is lacking

And I desperately need your backing

 

God by all rights I should be dead

And through your strength, I managed to stay alive

And I worked so hard to get back to where I was

Now, for the last month, I’m on a downward trend

And I’m back to nowhere again

 

Christ I’m ready to despair

It just seems as if no one cares

And it all seems so really unfair

But Lord help me to regain the faith

Of what was once my strength

Lord I feel like really copping out

And I just want to cry

Christ please help me to regain the strength and vigor of what I once was

 

Lord, I sound like I want sympathy, but all I want is health and I’ll take

Care of the rest, but Lord it’s always been so easy for me when I’m healthy.

And maybe you just want me to refeel what I once was.  Christ, I honestly

Don’t know.  Lord please give me faith and help me not to despair.

Ps  And Christ maybe my goals are too selfish and for my own physical good.

      Help!

 

 

The medical profession still has no idea what happened to me all those years ago.

They are still in a quandary today about my diagnosis.  However, I don’t think

That anyone doubts that I am very sick.  They just don’t know the reason.

I believe that I know, but I can’t scientifically 100% prove it at this time.

Yet there has been scientific proof over the years.

 

It doesn’t really matter anymore.  God is in control and I am trying to live

A life totally surrendered to God.

Can you SEE GOD’S HAND=

In the STORY=of your life?

I certainly can=he has LIFTED ME

Above my suffering=he has

MADE SOMETHING=out of me

 

Doubts and fears=RISE UP

When we go through SUFFERINGS

In our lives

 

But like the Israelites=like

The first time=we were lost

God created=A NEW PATH=for us

 

“The cloud overshadowed=their camp

And OUT OF=what had been water

DRY LAND was emerging

 

Out of the Red Sea=an unimpeded road

And a grassy plain=out of the mighty flood”                                                                                 Wisdom 19:7

 

GOD OUR FATHER=created

A MIRACLE=for the Jewish people

Out of nothing

 

And WHEN=I came to the end

Of my life=when I was 22=GOD

Our Heavenly Father=CREATED

Even more life for me

 

SEEING GOD’S HAND!=IN OUR STORIES

Seeing God’s hand=in the MIRACLE

Of our lives

 

“I keep my eyes=on the Lord

With him=AT MY RIGHT HAND=

I will not be shaken”                                                                                                        Psalm 16:8

 

“……..even there=YOUR HAND

Will guide me=YOUR RIGHT HAND

Will hold me fast”                                                                                                                Psalm 139:10

 

“Now if the foot should say’=

‘Because I=am NOT A HAND=I do not

Belong to the body’

 

It would not=for that reason=

STOP being part of the body”                                                                                   1 Corinthians 12:15

 

Today’s reading=teaches us=IN WISDOM

To keep looking to God

Even in the midst of our sufferings

FOR THAT MIRACLE

 

Keep looking to the Lord

For the right path=for

THE MIRACLE OF LIFE

 

SEEING GOD’S HAND!=in our stories

Seeing God’s hand=in

THE MIDST =of our lives

Finding the pathway to LIFE

 

“NOW CHOOSE LIFE=so that you

And your children=may LIVE

 

And that you may love=

The Lord your God=listen

To his voice=and hold fast=to him”                                                                                       Deuteronomy 30:19

 

“You make known to me=

THE PATH OF LIFE=you will

Fill me with joy=In your presence”                                                                                  Paslm 16:11

 

The ISRAELITES=had the MIRACLE

Of the parting of the RED SEA

 

I had my MIRACLE OF LIFE

At age 22=that still continues

To this day=what MIRACLES=have

You experienced=with your life?

 

SHARE YOUR STORIES=of God

And miracles in your life=with the world

 

SEEING GOD’S HAND=in

Our sufferings=in the STORIES

Of our lives

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name==of our EVER MIRACLE LIVING=MIRACLE LOVING

My arms and legs are weak

And my mind and vision are blurred

My head is pounding

And my throat is sore

And my vitality is at an extreme low

But worst of all, my mind is in an a depression

And I’m reaching  back for a little extra

But to my chagrin, there’s nothing there

After all, a man can battle only so many setbacks

 

There was a time when my body was strong

And my mind was even stronger

But that was a month ago

And it seems even longer

But what is even more discouraging

Is to battle back from death

To a point where you would never even know

And all of a sudden you’re leveled

And you have nothing to show

 

But I still have the same symptoms

And I can’t even start from scratch

And that is why I’m so depressed

NOT OUR OWN LIVES!

 

Did you ever feel=THINK

That our lives=are NOT

Really our own?

 

They BELONG to=our Holy Father God

And to Jesus=and to our FAMILY=friends

And to the whole world=

NOT OUR OWN LIVES!

 

“WHOEVER seeks to=PRESERVE his life

Will lose it=but whoever loses it=WILL SAVE IT”                                                                   Luke 17:33

 

As a CHRISTIAN=then

The very FIRST CONVICTION=we

Must have is=that

OUR LIVES=ARE NOT OUR OWN!

 

First of all=our lives

Have been REDEEMED FOR US

By Jesus Christ=who lived =died=and

RESURRECTED FOR US

To save us=from ourselves

 

It FOLLOWS then=that

We must live our lives out=by Thanking God and Jesus

I thank my God=I got it right

All those years ago=when I was 22

And on my deathbed

 

“…….IF God gives me LIFE=I

Will live for my family=My friends=

And for all people everywhere”

 

I had NO IDEA=who I was

At that TIME=in my life=but

I did know=that I

BELONGED to him=and the Holy Father God

 

And I do KNOW=that

You ALL=belong to the Lord too

NOT for ourselves =do we live

NOT OUR OWN LIVES!

 

Our lives belong to=GOD/Christ

Our families=and to each and EVERYONE

Of us others

Jesus RANSOMED=all of us!

 

“…….just as the Son of Man

Did not come=to be served=but

TO SERVE

And to live his life=as a RANSOM for many”                                                                                   Matthew 20:28

 

“For this reason=Christ

Is the mediator=of a new covenant=

 

That those=who are called=may receive

The promised eternal inheritance--------

Now that he has died=AS A RANSOM

 

To set them free=from the sins

Committed under the first covenant”                                                                                           Hebrews 9:15

 

We are called=to SERVE TOO

We are called=to give our lives=back

To the Holy Father God=Jesus=our family

Our Friends=and to the whole WORLD

 

We are called=AS CHRISTIANS=to serve others

TO LIVE FOR OTHERS!=We BELONG to GOD and others

NOT OUR OWN LIVES!

 

Our Holy Father God=our Jesus

Tell us to be THE LEAST=to be the last

In this world=as Christians=our lives

Are not our own

NOT OUR OWN LIVES!

 

“But many who are first==WILL BE LAST

And the last first”                                                                                                                    Mark 10:31

 

Dear Lord=we PRAY

That we live our lives=FOR YOUR PURPOSES

In order=to find ourselves=in this world

 

That is=WHAT HAPPENED TO ME

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our forever living=and loving

AND SERVING=Holy Father God!
