NEEDING HEALING=NEEDING TO BE RESTORED

 

You probably KNOW that=

Our bodies CONSTANTLY needs

RESTORATION=by sleep-nutritionally-

And by EXERCISE

 

But our SPIRIT also needs CARE=Unfortunately

Our spirit is INVISIBLE

And NOT all of us

Are AWARE of this fact

 

“O-Lord=God of hosts=RESTORE US”                                                                                                 Psalm 80:20

 

Emotional distress-a TROUBLING past-

A LOSS of spiritual consolation=and

Seemingly endless grief=leave us

DRAINED and DISTURBED

 

We need to be RESTORED=our spirit-

Needs TENDING too=with lots and lots

Of PATIENCE

 

“A person’s WISDOM

Yields PATIENCE

 

It is to ONE’S GLORY

To overlook an offense”                                                                                                                 Proverbs 19:11

 

“Or do you SHOW

Contempt for the riches

Of his KINDNESS-forbearance-

And PATIENCE

 

NOT realizing that GOD’S KINDNESS

Is intended

To LEAD YOU to repentance”                                                                                                      Romans 2;4

 

We TRY to RESTORE ourselves

By daily prayers-meditation-and

READING the BIBLE

 

As well as MASS-or

Church services

 

We LEAN on God

And those people who

RECEIVE us graciously

 

And REJUVENATE us and

HELP us to

RESTORE ourselves

 

“RESTORE our fortunes-LORD

Like streams in the Negev”                                                                                                       Psalm 126:4

RESTORE ME-and I will return

Because you are the

Lord MY GOD”                                                                                                                       Jeremiah 31:18

 

“Brothers and sisters=if SOMEONE

Is caught in sin

 

You who LIVE by the SPIRIT

Should RESTORE

That person GENTLY

 

But watch yourselves

Or you also-MAY BE TEMPTED”                                                                                                          Galatians 6:1

 

Dear Lord=help us=

Let us SLOW DOWN

Our fast-paced life

And RESTORE OURSELVES

From interior depletion

 

HELP US get CLOSER to you

And restore our SPIRIT

In you

 

Let us TURN to the LORD

The very ONE=who leads us

To RESTORATION

 

Dear Lord=restore us=

BOTH IN HEALTH and IN SPIRIT

MAKE US HEALED

Do you KNOW that you ARE

LIVING in the PRESENCE

Of God?  That in fact

The presence of GOD

Is ALIVE IN YOU

 

God is with us=in fact

God is living WITHIN

You and me

 

“Let us GO with you=for we

How would you REACT

If someone took you

By your HAND

And said

 

“Let me GO with you

God is with US

For we have been MADE

In the IMAGE OF GOD=

We are OBEDIENT to the presence

Of God-

Who LIVES INSIDE of us

Holding us UP

 

WE are living WITHIN

The PRESENCE of God-Christ

And their everlasting LOVE

REMIND YOURSELF people

That God is with you-

WITH US

How MUCH LOVE that you have

Live with ALL THE LOVE

Has TOUCHED somebody or HELPED SOMEBODY

 

I RECOGNIZE your importance=and I recognize

The IMPORTANCE of the reader

After all=we are ALL=just TRYING

To get along

 

You=ALL OF YOU=reading this=

ARE very important to me=for

WITHOUT a reader=a writer

Is absolutely nothing

 

“For what I have RECEIVED-

I PASSED ON to you-

As of first importance

 

That Christ died for our sins

According to the SCRIPTURES

That he was buried

 

And that he was RAISED

On the third day

ACCORDING to the Scriptures

 

And that he APPEARED to Cephas

Answered Jesus

I work hard in SHARING GOD’S

MESSAGE of LOVE

 

But we should ALWAYS ask ourselves=

“Are our EFFORTS being made

With the BEST INTERESTS of others in mind?”

 

I can honestly say YES

To that question

 

I HOPE you can too

 

For if we are NOT LOVING OTHERS

More than ourselves=we are

NOT living HUMBLE LIVES

 

And we are FAILING at the

SECOND COMMANDMENT

ALL SIDES OF LIFE

 

Jesus EXPERIENCED all sides of life

The SAME as we all do=

BOTH darkness and JOY

 

“PAY ATTENTION=to what I am

Telling you=The SON OF MAN

Is to be HANDED over to men”                                                                                    Luke 9:44

 

Life OFFERS us all KINDS of experience

The JOYS of love=the beauty of NATURE=

And the GIFTS of sight and sound

 

UNFORTUNATELY=there is tragedy

In life too=as Jesus FOUND OUT

All too well

 

He EXPERIENCED failure=

He experienced betrayal- and he

Experienced loss=LOSS of his

Very own life

 

He CHOSE to experience

Bothe the HAPPY SIDE and the

Dark side=as we all do

 

Jesus KNEW all sides of LIFE

The happy side and the SAD-dark side

He knew the LOVE OF FAMILY LIFE

LOVE with his mother and father

 

He experienced the PLATONIC LOVE of

And WITH a GOOD WOMAN=and with Mary Magdalene

He had HAPPY times and joyful times

 

“But may the RIGHTEOUS be glad

And REJOICE before God

May they be HAPPY and JOYFUL”                                                                                   Psalm 68:3

 

“Is anyone HAPPY?  Let them sing

SONGS OF PRAISE!”                                                                                                               James 5:13

 

Let us GATHER around the CHRISTMAS TREE

And sing songs of HAPPINESS

About our Lord Jesus Christ

 

And yet the LORD KNEW

The dark times of life

He ACCEPTED disappointment-betrayal

And even=DEATH on the cross

 

But the cross GAVE WAY

To the RESURRECTION

=And a NEVER ENDING JOY

 

We too WILL EXPERIENCE all sides

Of life=and may we REMEMBER

The darkness ULTIMATELY PASSES-

And our JOY will LAST FOREVER

In the KINGDOM of our Lord

Jesus Christ

Today we celebrate the FEAST

Of our PROTECTORS=our ANGELS=

Michael=Gabriel and Raphael

 

So many times

WHEN the angels come

IN SCRIPTURE=their message

 

Is ACCOMPANIED by the words

“DO NOT BE AFRAID”

 

And that is what I tell

You today=no matter what

You are FACING=a severe health diagnosis=

Financial struggles=or relationship problems

 

The angels are telling us

And TELLING me and you

“Do NOT be afraid”

 

“………….

In the PRESENCE of the angels

I will SING your praise”                                                                                                       Psalm 138:1

 

They are our PROTECTORS=

The angels are=The angels of

Michael-Gabriel and Raphael

 

They have us COVERED=as well

As our HUMAN ANGELS=they ALL

Have us covered

 

They are our protectors

 

“May INTEGRITY and uprightness

PTOTECT me

 

Because my HOPE Lord

Is in you”                                                                                                                            Psalm 25:21

 

“DISCRETION will PROTECT you

And understanding will GUARD you”                                                                                     Proverbs 2:12

 

“I will REMAIN in the world

No longer

But they are

 

STILL in the world

COMING to you-HOLY FATHER

PROTECT them

So that they may be one

Yes the angels PROTECT US

By the name of our GOD and his

SON=Jesus

 

They tell us DO NOT BE AFRAID

And we are COVERED=covered

In their HEAVENLY LOVE

 

Yes=may we live TODAY-

And ALL the days to come

Being GRATEFUL for

These angelic protectors and GUIDES

 

As well as our HUMAN ANGELS

 

They have us all COVERED

And we do NOT NEED

To be afraid

 

“The Lord is my LIGHT
