The world is falling apart

We need a brand new start

So much selfishness

So much pride

When did we turn away

Turn away from God

Turn to the other side

The world is full of lies

The world is full of deception

 

We have built our world

On the wrong values

No wonder

We are all walking around

So confused

PART OF GOD'S PLAN

 

PART OF GOD’S PLAN

 

It is OFTEN=Very difficult

When someone=JUDGES YOU

I don’t really like it

I am SURE=You don’t either

 

Today we=Have someone

Pointing this out

In the OLD TESTAMENT

 

 

“To your mouth=

You give FREE REIN=for evil

 

You harness your mouth

To deceit”                                                                                                                           Psalm 50:19

 

But even WHEN we

ARE JUDGED=that is PART

OF GOD’S PLAN TOO

 

And Jesus=OUR SAVIOR

Was judged MORE UNFAIRLY

Than any man or woman

That ever lived

 

But HIS FATHER=

PROCLAIMED him innocent=by

RAISING him form the dead

 

We too =will be

UNFAIRLY JUDGED=that is

Just=PART OF GOD’S PLAN too

 

It may be DIFFICULT for us

But our RESPONSE=should be

To get back up

WITH THE Holy Father’s HELP!

 

So get back up=

KEEP LIVING=on God’s love-

Forgiveness-and kindness

Just like Jesus did

It is=

PART OF GOD’S PLAN TOO!

 

“Do not those

Who plot evil=go astray?

 

But those WHO PLAN

What is good

Find love and faithfulness”                                                                                                                 Proverbs 14:22

 

“In him=we were also chosen

Having been predestined

According to the PLAN

Of him=

 

Who works out everything

In conformity=with the purpose

Of his will”                                                                                                                                    Ephesians 1:11

 

Today=we CELEBRATE

Saint Cyril of Alexandria

On his day=he faced hostility and depravity

 

 

Just like we do

Just=LIKE Jesus did

Just like every Saint=canonized or not

It is=PART OF GOD’S PLAN!

 

For we=WILL RISE

Above it=we are doing

The WILL of God

 

“I desire

To DO YOUR WILL=my God

Your law=is within my heart”                                                                                               Psalm 40:8

 

“Anyone who chooses

To do=THE WILL OF GOD

Will find out

 

Whether my teaching

Comes from God=or whether

I speak on my own”                                                                                                             John 7:17

 

We RECOGNIZE

That we need

The mercy of God=for our FAILINGS

 

Despite that

The LORD invites us=to participate

In the salvation

Of the world

 

THANKING the Lord

For who we are=we are ALL

PART OF GOD’S PLAN!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS LOVING=Holy Father God!

WITH GOD'S HELP

 

WITH GOD'S HELP

A lot of us

In this world

Want to

RESIST GOD'S HELP

We want to INSIST-

We can do it

By ourselves=

We can do it

OUR OWN WAY

Jesus put it BLUNTLY

“Without me-

You can do NOTHING”

“Whoever remains in me-

And I in him

Will BEAR much fruit

Because without me

You can do nothing”                                                                                                  John 15:5

It reminds me of

The STORY= where a man

Was drowning=

And the man was WAITING

For God to HELP=and

Didn't help himself

FINALLY God says=”I sent

You=three boats and a helicopter=

What more do you want?”

We all NEED God's help

To just get by=but we

Need to TAKE IT

When it comes

“You make

Your SAVING HELP my shield

Your HELP

Has made me great”                                                                                              2 Samuel 22:36

“I do not

Hide your righteousness

In my heart

I speak of your faithfulness

And your SAVING HELP

I do not conceal

Your love

And your faithfulness

From the great assembly”                                                                                                  Psalm 40:10

So that the church

Can HELP THOSE widows

Who are really in need”                                                                                                1 Timothy 5:16

GOD HELPS so many people

In this world

He helps them

Through churches

And he HELPS them

Through others-

With benevolent hearts

God HELPS so many people

In this world=

IF we can just open up

Our eyes=and see

WITH GOD'S HELP

With God's help=with

A WILLING heart and mind=

There is no telling

How much-

WE CAN ACCOMPLISH

Dear Lord=help us

To REMAIN UNITED with you-

So that we can accomplish things

And so our LIVES

Will BEAR FRUIT=

Fruit that will last

“Who says of Cyrus=

'He is my shepherd

And will ACCOMPLISH

All that I please

He will say of Jerusalem'

'Let it be rebuilt'

And of the temple=

'Let its foundation

BE LAID'”                                                                                                            Isaiah 44:28

Dear Lord=we thank you

For ALL of your HELP

In this world

And all the FRUIT

That you give us

There is NO LIMIT

To what we can ACCOMPLISH

In this world=WITH YOUR HELP

In your name dear Jesus=and with THE HELP of the FATHER

GOODBYES AND PEACE

“Goodbyes and Peace”

 

Goodbyes are difficult

Goodbyes always

Cause someone pain

 

Goodbyes occur

For many reasons

A move, a death, a broken relationship

 

But as Jesus

Was leaving this world

Jesus said

I leave my peace

With you

 

It is the kind of peace

That is

Not the peace from this world

But a peace

In spite of this world

 

A peace that says

In every situation

I am with you

To trust God

And know

God will bring you safely home

 

God’s peace

Is a victory

Over the darkness of sin

In this world

 

It is a victory over

The coldness, the indifference, the selfishness,

The ingratitude, the luke warmness

And rejection of this world

 

So please know

That whatever you are facing

In this world

 

And if you

Are facing

A goodbye for any reason

I wish you peace

NOW=MORE THAN EVER!

 

NOW=MORE THAN EVER!

 

Did you EVER

Stop and think=that the

NEED FOR GOD

Is greater IN our world=

MORE than ever before?

 

We have =so MUCH going on

We have COVID

We have=the war in the Ukraine

 

We have the great

Political=financial=and racial DIVIDES

Going on=in our country

And in our world

 

YES=the NEEED for God

Is greater=greater NOW

NOW=MORE THAN EVER!

 

“The Lord=will guide you

Always=he will satisfy

YOUR NEEDS=in a sun-scorched land……….”                                                                   Isaiah 58:11

 

“And my God=will meet

ALL YOUR NEEDS=according to the riches

Of his glory=IN Jesus Christ”                                                                                                Philippians 4:19

 

I believe=GOD KNOWS US

He knows=what we need

 

I believe=IF we turn

Back to God

With open hearts

With our minds and souls

On him=HE WILL ANSWER

OUR NEEDS=NOW MORE THAN EVER!

 

Look at history

He has ALWAYS ANSWERED=

He gave us Noah=Abraham

He gave us Moses

And King David

 

He gave us Jesus=and the apostles

To spread the message=OF LOVE

And he gave us ALL the saints

Down through the ages

 

He will=ANSWER OUR NEEDS

If we=just turn back to him

We need God

In our world today

NOW=MORE THAN EVER!

 

“Do not be=Like them

For your Father knows

WHAT YOU NEED-

Before you ask him”                                                                                                          Matthew 6:8

 

“Share with the Lord’s people

WHO ARE IN NEED=

Practice hospitality!”                                                                                                                   Romans 12:13

 

This world=this nation

Has been backing away

FURTHER away from God

For some time

 

I ask all of you

TO PRAY with me

For God to come back

EVERYWHERE in our world=and IN EACH ONE

Of our own hearts

 

The Lord KNOWS our needs

I believe=NOW MORE THAN EVER!

He knows=and will ANSWER OUR PRAYERS

Provide for our needs

He knows us=He will come

 

“If anyone serves-

They should do so

With the strength=GOD PROVIDES

 

So that in all things

God may be praised=Through Jesus Christ”                                                                    1 Peter 4:11

 

The Lord knows=we are

ALL IN NEED=in this world

He will PROVIDE=in time

NOW MORE THAN EVER!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our ALWAYS PROVIDING=Holy Father God!
