IT IS RELIGIOUS=AFTER ALL

(THANKSGIVING 2025=at my sister Mary’s)

 

THANKSGIVING is NOT RELIGIOUS!=Not technically a RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY=

It is SECULAR and it=IS UNIVERSAL=It is FAMILY ORIENTED=It is made out=

OF LOVE=and serves=to UNIFY=all mankind=What God=what religions-What our=

HOLY FATHER OF LOVE=and Jesus=ALWAYS wants us to do=”Let the earth=Bless

The LORD……..”                                                                                                                          Daniel 3:74

 

Many AMERICAN HOMES=have adopted it=as a RELIGIOUS FEAST=Because it

Is family=Because it is LOVE=For we all=should be THANKFUL to God=for all things=

Many go to MASS=or a CHURCH SERVICE=or give THANKS to God=for all that

They have=For all of their BLESSINGS=It feels like a RELIGIOUS HOLIDAY=for

All of our BLESSINGS=”But if a widow=has CHILDREN or grandchildren=These should

Learn=first of all=+To put their RELIGION into practice=By caring for their OWN FAMILY=

And so repaying their parents and grandparents=For this is Pleasing TO GOD”    1 Timothy 5:4

“RELIGION that=GOD OUR FATHER=Accepts as pure and faultless=is this=To look

After orphans and widows=In their distress=and keep oneself=from being polluted by

The world”                                                                                                                                        James 1:27

 

This is EXACTLY=who Jesus Christ was=This is exactly=who the Holy Father God is=It

Is about those=WHO ARE THE HAVES=Sharing with those who are=THE HAVE NOTS!=Pure

Religion!=Pure LOVE=Pure God=PURE THANKSGIVING!

 

George Washington said we should=”GIVE OUR THANKS=For God’s kind care=and

PROTECTION……..for the manifold mercies”=and he Added that=”We should beseech

God=for our transgressions”=and to ask God  to “BLESS US”

 

Sometimes we=LOSE TRACK=of who we are=and WHERE we came from=But

I echo PRESIDENT WASHINGTON’S sentiments=and THANK our TOTALLY AWESOME

LIVING GOD=for my=for our BLESSINGS=Our care=our PROTECTION=and HIS LOVE!=

We are blessed=to be called God’s CHILDREN=We are Blessed to live in his love=We are

Blessed with  LIFE=IT IS RELIGIOUS AFTER ALL!

“BLESSED is the NATION=Whose God is the LORD=The people he chose=for his

INHERITANCE”                                                                                                                                              Proverbs 33:12

“BLESSED are the poor in spirit=For theirs is the=Kingdom of heaven”                            Matthew 5:3

 

DESPITE the secular beginnings=of Thanksgiving=It is VERY RELIGIOUS=Because we=

Are giving thanks to God=We are ASKING for FORGIVENESS=and we are THANKING GOD=

For all of our GREAT BLESSINGS=Material and otherwise

 

This  Thanksgiving=Let us REMEMBER=to give thanks to God=for our many BLESSINGS=

Including our lives and love=and CONTINUE=to live in=GOD’S OWN SPIRIT=and give what

WE HAVE=to the have nots=for this will CHANGE SOMEBODY’S LIFE

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DEAR FRIENDS=I LOVE YOU ALL!
