WAITING FOR GOD'S WILL
WITH PATIENCE
We all want to do
God's WILL-of course-
But DISCERNING the will
Of God is difficult
We have to WAIT with courage
And with PATIENCE to hear
God's will-and sometimes-
It takes a LONG long time
“WAITING for the Lord with courage” Psalm 27:14
And we wait in in patience
It SEEMS like we are
ALWAYS waiting for something
In life
WHEN we are young
We want to be older-
We want to drive-
We want to vote-
We want our own FAMILY
We CAN'T WAIT for our own children
To get married-and
To have kids
For retirement-to JOIN AARP
We PRAY to God
For certain things
And sometimes we just
have to WAIT
For GOD'S ANSWERS
“A person's wisdom
YIELDS patience
It is one's glory
To overlook an offense” Proverbs 19:11
“Therefore-
As GOD'S chosen people
Holy and dearly loved
CLOTHE yourself with compassion-
Kindness-humility-and PATIENCE” Colossians 3:12
When we “WAIT”
For the Lord
To move us
IN a certain direction
We REMEMBER
Not to get ahead
Of God's PLANS
For our lives
WAITING on God's WILL
With patience
Waiting for the Lord
To move us in
A SPECIFIC DIRECTION
Waiting on
The WORD OF GOD
“Wait for the Lord
Be STRONG and take heart
And WAIT-for the Lord” Psalm 27:14
“I wait for the Lord
My whole being waits” Psalm 130:5
“Yet the Lord
LONGS to be gracious
To you
Therefore-he will RISE UP
To show you compassion
For the Lord
Is a God of justice
BLESSED are all
Who WAIT for him” Isaiah 30:18
It takes a lot
Of courage to wait
FOR GOD'S WILL
To be KNOWN to us
Dear Lord-HELP US to be patient
And WAIT for the discernment
Of God's WILL-before-
We MOVE in a particular direction
Help us to HAVE
The courage and the wisdom
To WAIT PATIENTLY for your plan
For me
Rather than TRYING to figure
It out-ALL on our own-
