I carry

Do you ever get SO EXCITED

ABOUT GOD=ABOUT LIFE

That you can’t wait

To get up and LIVE

Another day

To SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS?

 

I have to tell you

That DESPITE having

Health problems=my whole life

I FEEL THAT WAY

I get so excited=SO HAPPY

About what God and Jesus

Have done  for me=for us

That I can’t wait

To go and TELL EVERYONE!

 

“HAPPY are you=O Israel

Who is like you

 

O people=saved by the Lord

The shield of your help

And who is

The sword of your excellency!

 

And your enemies

Shall be found liars

To you

 

And you shall tread upon

Their high places”                                                                                                        Deuteronomy 33:29

 

I AM SO EXCITED

ABOUT GOD!=I am so excited

ABOUT LIFE!

I just can’t wait

To go and SPREAD the good news

Of the Lord=and Jesus

To go and tell

 

HOW HAPPY he has made me

How good he has

Been to me

 

And has given me

ALL of this EXTRA TIME

With my family

With my friends

And all of these FANTASTIC MEMORIES

 

EXCITED ABOUT GOD AND LIFE

I just want to

SPREAD the good news

Of the Lord=

Be happy and excited

About God and Jesus

 

And about all the GOOD PEOPLE

And things=that there still are

In this world

 

“HAPPY is the man

That has his quiver=full of them

 

They shall not be ashamed

But they shall speak=with the enemies

In the gate”                                                                                                                              Psalm 127:5

 

“Have you faith?

HAPPY is he

 

That condemns not himself

In that thing=that he allows”                                                                                         Romans 14:22

 

BE HAPPY my dear friends

BE EXCITED ABOUT GOD!

BE EXCITED ABOUT LIFE!

 

These are some tough times

My dear friends==but God and Jesus

Have brought MIRACLES=out of

Tough times before

 

Spread the good news=and be

EXCITED ABOUT GOD=AND LIFE!

SAINT LUCY

 

 

 

SAINT LUCY---VISION

 

 

Lucy was a virgin

A martyr

And today she is considered to be

The patroness of the blind

 

She died in the year of 304

During the persecution of Diocletian

 

She was

A wealthy Sicilian

Who refused marriage offers

Gave her goods 

To the poor

And was accused

By one of her suitors

To the authorities

 

The judge ordered her

To be sent to a brothel

And become violated

 

But she became miraculously immovable

 

He tried to have her burnt

Also unsuccessful

 

Finally---she was killed

By a sword

 

Legend has it

That her eyes too---were torn out

Only to be miraculously restored

 

Dear Lord---I pray---we pray

That in a world

That has become blinded

By your vision for it

 

Blinded by greed

Blinded by sexual lust

And just blinded

By our own pure selfishness

 

We pray

That we have the faith

Of Saint Lucy

And we pray for your vision

 

Your vision for our world

And your vision---for each of us individually

And all of us collectively

To be returned to us---TO YOU

Ps        FAITH is defined as trust in and reliance on GOD

 

“Abraham believed the Lord, and he credited to him as righteousness”         Genesis 15:6

 

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness-and all these things

Will be given to you as well-therefore do NOT worry about tomorrow

For tomorrow will worry about itself-

EACH DAY has enough trouble of its own”                                             Matthew 6:33-34

 

“In the same way-FAITH by itself

PERSEVERE IN THE 21st CENTURY=WITH JESUS=and the GOD OF LOVE

 

 

 

 

 

 

PERSEVERE IN THE 21^ST CENTURY=

(With Jesus=and THE GOD OF LOVE)

 

Today Jesus  PROMISES US TOTAL SECURITY=But he warns us=That the road ahead=

May be difficult and PAINFUL=at times=”You will be HATED by all=Because of my name=

BUT NOT a HAIR=On your head=will be destroyed=BY YOUR PERSEVERANCE=You

Will secure your lives”                                                                                                                                    Luke 21:17-18

 

IS it any wonder=That those hearing Jesus’ words=all WALKED AWAY=Even Peter denies

Jesus 3 times=But then GOT IT RIGHT=And NOW us Christians=have PERSEVERED into

The 21^st century=We have persevered with Jesus=and the GOD OF LOVE=His Father=

Well into the 21^st century=as their apostles

“Watch your life=and doctrine closely=PERSEVERE IN THEM=Because if you do=You will

Save both yourself=and your hearers”                                                                                         1 Timothy 4:16

“You NEED TO PERSEVERE=So that=When you have done=The will of God=You will

Receive=what he has promised”                                                                                                  Hebrews 10:36

 

MY JOURNEY=with Jesus and his Father=The FATHER GOD OF LOVE=has NOT been=

An easy one=NONE oy our journeys are=But I have ENDURED=WE have endured through=

And IN=This 21^st century together=On this JOURNEY OF FAITH=With the Father and HIS

SON=PERSEVERING IN THIS=THE 21^st CENTURY!

 

We are=I have been CHALLENGED=In health situations=In financial situations=and in

RELATIONSHIPS=and YET WE PERSEVERE=We ENDURE=as apostles OF FAITH=in today’s

Times=Because we have=WITNESSED GREAT MIRACLES OF LOVE=Through the Father and=

His Son=PERSEVERING  as MODERN DAY CHRISTIANS=in this the 21^st century

 

“By FAITH=he left Egypt=Not fearing the king’s anger=HE PERSEVERED because=He saw him=

Who is invisible”                                                                                                                                             Hebrews 11:27

“As you know=We count as BLESSED=Those who have PERSEVERED=You have heard  of

JOB’S PERSEVERANCE=and have seen=What the LORD=Finally brought about=The Lord is

Full of compassion and mercy”                                                                                                              James 5:11

“YOU have PERSEVERED=and have ENDURED hardships=for my name=and have=NOT

Grown weary”                                                                                                                                                Revelation 2:3

 

TO CONTINUE=to Follow Jesus=and his Father=THE GOD OF LOVE=REQUIRES multiple

Choices=Each and every day=Of our life=I am GRATEFUL=to be=A 21^st century apostle=Of the

Holy Father God=and his Son Jesus Christ=Because they LOVE US UNCONDITIONALLY=That is

WHY=I PERSEVERE in faith and ENDURE=as a MODERN day 21^st century Christian apostle

“May his name=ENDURE FOREVER=May it continue as long=As the sun=Then all nations=

Will be blessed=Through him=and they will call him blessed”                                                Psalm 72:17

“IF WE ENDURE=We will also reign with him=If we disown him=He will also

Disown us”                                                                                                                                              2  Timothy 2:12

 

OUR GOD OF LOVE=The Father=and his SON=LOVES each one of us=Through our

FEARS and our failures=NO MATTER how many times=We did fail=TO FOLLOW HIM=

We can still get it right=and PERSEVERE to be=21^st CENTURY APOSTLES==It is our

CHOICE=and I am GRATEFUL to be=ONE OF THEM=In this the 21^st century!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of OUR EVER LOVING=ever living=ever PERSEVERING=

21^st CENTURY HOLY FATHER GOD!

CHASING RAINBOWS

 

 

Chasing rainbows

In the sky

Looking for loving

Looking for God

Sometimes that is

All I want to do

Is chase rainbows

In the sky

 

The colors are luminous

The decision is unanimous

Sometimes all I want to do

Is chase rainbows

In the sky

 

Chasing rainbows

Chasing love

Chasing God

And all his ways

 

I know

I can never capture them

But I get

A feeling of pleasure

From chasing rainbows

In the sky

GOD IS STILL WITH YOU

 

GOD IS STILL WITH YOU

Have you ever

Faced a period in your life

WHERE you felt

You could no longer

Go on

Perhaps because of health problems

Or financial problems

Or even relationship problems

MAYBE all three

At the same time

You can STILL make it

Our Lord is with you

God is still with you

Cod will carry you onward

“Master-it is good that we are here”                                                  Luke 9:33

God will 

Carry us forward

“He tends his flock

Like a shepherd

He gathers the lambs 

In his arms

And CARRIES them

CLOSE to his heart”                                                                Isaiah 40:11

“Even to your old age

And gray hairs

I am He

I am he

Who will sustain you

I have made you

And I will CARRY YOU

I will sustain you

And I will RESCUE you”                                                                Isaiah 46:4

GOD IS STILL WITH YOU

He will carry you

He will carry me-HOME

He will sustain us

Through every suffering

He will sustain us

Through every anxiety

Through every storm

Jesus was about to enter Jerusalem

To suffer-to die

Almost too much to bear

For the apostles

But Jesus was PREPARING them

And SHARED his transfiguration 

With Peter-James-and John

They were ecstatic

They saw the “glory”

That was to come

Through Jesus Christ

They would NEED this GRACE

To bolster them

In the days ahead

The same way

We need the LORD'S GRACE

In our times of suffering

“For the law

Was given through Moses

GRACE and truth

CAME through Jesus Christ”                                                      John 1:17

“With GREAT POWER

The apostles 

Continued to testify

To the RESURRECTION

Of the Lord Jesus

And GOD'S GRACE

Was so powerfully in work in them all

That there was NO needy persons

Among them”                                                                           Acts 4:33

And God's grace

Is in us

To BOLSTER US

In times of need

GRACE-little rays of GOD'S LIGHT

Is there

In even our darkest moments

God has NOT abandoned us 

He is still with you

He is still with me

And that is forever-

For ALL of eternity-

GOD IS STILL WITH US
