WHEN TESTED=RESPOND WITH=THE PATIENT LOVE=

OF OUR GOD

 

EASTER is Approaching FAST=And we are coming UP=on the time=

When Jesus=Is PUT TO THE TEST=and at OTHER TIMES=we too=The

Modern day Christians and disciples=are PUT TO the test too=”With

Revilement and torture=Let us PUT HIM=to the TEST=That we may have

Proof of his gentleness=and TRY HIS PATIENCE”                                                           Wisdom 2:19

 

This week=and the weeks to come=The devil=Satan challenges us all=

IN ways that=we could never IMAGINE=This book of Wisdom=also tells us=

That others may FIND=Our holy righteous living-“obnoxious”=But we MUST

Keep FOLLOWING=the Lord of Life=No matter what the cost=No matter what

The TEST=That is our challenge

 

“Do NOT=Put the Lord=Your God=TO THE TEST=as you did at Massah”      Deuteronomy 6:16

“Search me God=and know my heart=TEST ME=and know my anxious

Thoughts”                                                                                                                                          Psalm 139:23

“Do not conform to=the pattern of this world=But be transformed=by

The renewing of your mind=Then you will be able=TO TEST and approve=

What God’s will is=--------His good-pleasing-and perfect will”                                Romans 12:2

 

OUR TEMPTATION=is to fight back=With the WEAPONS of the world=When

We are being TESTED= in this life=To fight back physically=and to fight

BACK=with our WORDS=But that is the WORST thing we can do

 

When BEING TESTED=We need to RESPOND WITH PATIENT LOVE=and God’s

Endurance=The endurance and the PATIENCE=of our ever loving=Ever

Living Holy Father God=”A person’s wisdom=YIELDS PATIENCE=it is to one’s

Glory=to overlook an offense”                                                                                                Proverbs 19:11

“…….Being strengthened=with all power according to=His glorious might=

So that=You may have great ENDURANCE AND PATIENCE”                                 Colossians 1:11

“Therefore=as God’s chosen people=Holy and dearly loved=Clothe

Yourselves with compassion=Kindness=Humility=Gentleness=

And Patience”                                                                                                                               Colossians 3:12

 

YES=the challenge for us=as MODERN day Christians=When TESTED=is

To Face Temptations/challenges=With angry words and actions=But the

RIGHT CHOICE is to=Respond with THE PATIENT LOVE=Of Christ Jesus=

Dear Lord=we PRAY=in these LAST days of lent=WHEN we are TESTED=

Tested in our health=Tested in our finances=and tested in our RELATIONSHIPS

 

That we do RESPOND WITH THE PATIENT LOVE=Of our Holy Father God=and His

Son Jesus Christ=”I WAITED PATIENTLY=for the Lord=He turned to me=and heard

Me cry”                                                                                                                                                Psalm 40:1

“For in this hope=We are saved=But hope that is seen=is no hope at all=

Who hopes=for what=they already have?=But if we hope for=What we do not

Yet have=WE WAIT FOR IT PATIENTLY”                                                                             Romans 8:24-25

 

Dear Lord=IN this broken world=that we live in=with so many BROKEN PEOPLE=
WE pray=that when we ourselves=are BEING TESTED=That we RESPOND WITH the

PATIENT LOVE=that you taught us=IN THE PASSION=the crucifixion=and

THE RESURRECTION!

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving=ever

VICTORIOUS=Holy Father God!
