LESSONS IN HUMILITY
Jesus taught us=MANY LESSONS in this life=But ONE of the
GREATEST
LESSON he taught us=Was HOW to be HUMBLE=”But I say to you=OFFER
NO
RESISTANCE=to one who is evil=When someone=STRIKES you=on
the right
Cheek=TURN the other one=to him as well”
Mathew 5:39
Jesus had a WAY=of turning things UPSIDE DOWN=He also had a
way of=
TURNING things INSIDE OUT=He was the GREATESTEST of all
people=For he
Was GOD too=But he also
was=The MOST humble=of all HUMBLE=He never
Retreated=He told us words=and TAUGHT US=with his
actions=BEING HUMBLE=
Was not easy=IF we are truly humble=Even if we are
SUCCESSFUL in something=We
DO NOT BOAST=Only in God=That is GOD’S WAY=and that is a
LESSON in
HUMILITY=”In God=we MAKE OUR BOAST=all day long=and we will
PRAISE your
Name forever”
Psalm 44:8
“DO NOT BOAST=about tomorrow=For you do not know=What a day
may bring” Proverbs 27:1
“Therefore as it is written’=’Let the one=WHO BOASTS=BOAST
in the Lord’” 1 Corinthians 1:31
LIVING WITH HUMILITY=is one of Jesus’ LESSONS=He TAUGHT us
=that we do NOT REALIATE
When we are humble=and to live HUMBLY=and more that=WE are
to CARE for those=IN NEED=
Even before they ask=and that is what=We are to DO TOO!=Give
without counting
THE COSTS=We are to BE=the LIVING EXAMPLE of love=in this
world=And of Jesus
LIVING WITH HUMILITY=and FOLLOWING Jesus’ actions
“Wisdom’s instructions=Is to fear the Lord=AND
HUMILITY=comes before honor” Proverbs
15:33
“BY THE HUMILITY=and gentleness of Christ=I appeal to
you=-------I Paul=who am
‘Timid’=When face to face with you=But ‘Bold’=toward
you=when I am away” 2 Corinthians
10:1
“Do nothing=out of selfish ambition=or vain conceit=RATHER
IN HUMILITY=Value
Others above yourselves=Not looking to your own interests=But
each of you=to
The interest=Of the others”
Philippians 2:3-4
Jesus’ LESSONS to us=In humility=Came to us=through his
life==and are INFINITE=
But the BEST EXAMPLE=is how He went to the CROSS=Carried his
cross=and died a
HUMILIATING death=without uttering a word IN PROTEST
Can we CARRY=these lessons IN HUMILITY=Can we DENY=our very
own[i]
selves=and
Carry our crosses through Life like Jesus=without UTTERING A
WORD=Can we do it
LIKE Jesus=Of course =We will NOT RESURRECT=but we have the
EXAMPLE=on how
To live and die=LESSONS IN HUMILITY!=He is the ONE=and
FOREVER will be!
“All of you=Clothe yourselves=WITH HUMILITY=toward one
another=Because=
‘God opposes the proud=but shows favor=to THE HUMBLE’” 1 Peter 5:5
Dear Holy Father God=WE PRAY=that we grasp=SOME of the
LESSONS from
Your Son=That he TAUGHT US=during his life=Namely how to
Live and die HUMBLY=
LESSONS IN HUMILITY=from Jesus OUR SAVIOR!
In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever
loving=Holy
Father God!
