ANOTHER REMINDER=JESUS MEETS US=

IN OUR DARKNESS

 

We all=SUFFER  SETBACKS=in this life=LOSS of loved ones=Health issues=

Financial setbacks=and relationship woes=But Jesus=MEETS US=IN OUR

DARKNESS=Pulls us back up=and PUTS us back on=THE ROAD TO LIFE=

“AS he=Approached the town gate=a dead person=Was being carried out--------

The ONLY son=of his Mother=and she was a widow=And a large crowd=from

The town=Was  with her=WHEN the Lord saw her=HIS HEART=went out to her=

And he said=’Don’t cry’”                                                                                                                       Luke 2:12-13

 

That is=OUR GOD=That is our Jesus=THE ONE=who COMES OUT=to meet  us=

IN OUR DARKNESS=The God od LOVE=The God of LIFE=Our gentle=loving and

COMPASSIONATE GOD=”You Lord=are my lamp=The Lord turns MY DARKNESS=

Into light”                                                                                                                                                 2 Samuel 22:29

“This is the verdict=LIGHT has come into the world=But people LOVED DARKNESS=

Instead of light=Because their deeds were evil”                                                                  John 3:19

“For you were ONCE DARKNESS=But now you are light=In the Lord=Live as children=

Of light=(For the fruit of the light=consists in all goodness=righteousness=and truth)=

And find out=What pleases the Lord”                                                                                   Ephesians 5:8-10

 

This story=IS ANOTHER REMINDER=that Jesus MEETS US=IN OUR DARKNESS=When

HE is most needed=When we are ASKING for help=What are the BURDENS=Of your life

Today=Are you GRIEVING over someone else through death?=Or another reason?=Are

You grieving=Because the DREAMS of your life=are ALL DEAD?=Jesus sees you in=

Your struggles=and in YOUR DARKNESS=He meets you=WHERE AND WHEN=You are suffering

 

“Love and  faithfulness=MEET TOGETHER=Righteousness and  peace=Kiss each other” Psalm 85:10

“Therefore this is what=I will do to you=Israel=and because I will do this=To you Israel=Prepare=

To MEET  YOUR GOD”                                                                                                                                        Amos 4:12

“After that=We who  are still alive=and are left=Will be caught  up together=With them=

In the clouds=To MEET the Lord=In the air=And so we will be=With the Lord forever=

Therefore encourage one another=With these words”                                                 1 Thessalonians  4:17

 

The Holy FATHER’S  GOD=and Jesus’ TIMING=May not be=The same as ours=But

The PAIN we feel=is no match=FOR HIS wonderful compassion=NOT a single one=of us=

IS SO LOST=that the Lord cannot=embrace us=and CHANGE our situation=”I will=

SEARCH FOR THE LOST=and bring back the strays=I will bind up the injured=and

Strengthen the weak=But the sleek and the strong=I will destroy=I will shepherd the  flock

With justice”                                                                                                                                                      Ezekiel 34:16

“For this=Son of mine was dead=and is alive again==HE WAS LOST=and is found=So they

Began to celebrate”                                                                                                                                     Luke 15:24

 

Dear God and Jesus=We pray=WITH THANKS and GRATITUDE=For saving us=IN our

Struggles=and our sorrow=HELP US=to internalize=The story of=The Widow Nain and=

HER SON=and that NONE OF US=are so lost=in DARKNESS=That you cannot RESTORE=and

Help us too=Help us to know=and to REMIND US=yet again=That you Jesus and=YOUR FATHER=

MEET US=IN OUR TIMES OF DARKNESS!

 

In the names  of  Jesus=and our FOREVER LIVING and LOVING=Holy Father God!
