GOD’S LOVE=IS STRONGER THAN OUR FEAR

 

IN THE BIBLE=We read over and over again=That the LOVE OF GOD=is

STRONGER=and the POWER of God=Is Stronger than our FEARS!=But many

TIMES=in this life= I have FELT PARALYZED=By my fear=FEAR has a way of=

GETTING HOLD OF US=It can GRIP OUR HEARTS=and it  can Diminish=and

CRIPPLE HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS!=Sometimes even with=Our Relationship=

With God and his Son=THE GODS OF LOVE=”It is I=Who say to you=’FEAR NOT=

I WILL HELP YOU’”                                                                                                                                       Isaiah 41:13

 

The POET of Advent=ISAIAH=The Prophet Isaiah=tells his people=THE PEOPLE

OF ISRAEL=To have a LIVING FAITH=In the God of LOVE=Yes my sisters and brothers=

Continue to have that FAITH=When that HEALTH DIAGNOSIS=Is threatening to=

TAKE your life=OR when you don’t know=HOW LONG you Can Continue=To pay your BILS=

Or when=That MOST IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIP=In your life=Is falling APART=Isaiah

TELLS US=to continue=TO LIVE IN FAITH=and IN the love that GOD GIVES you/me/us=FOR

NOTHING in this world=can take us down=IF we are LIVING IN GOD’S LOVE=

GOD’S LOVE=is STRONGER=than our worst fears!

 

“The voice of the LORD=IS POWERFUL=The voice of the Lord is majestic”                     Psalm 29:4

“One of them=Named Cleopas=asked him=’Are you the ONLY ONE=Visiting Jerusalem=

Who does not know=The things that have happened there=IN these days?’”                   

“What things?’ He asked”

“About Jesus of Nazareth’=They replied=’He was a Prophet=POWERFUL in word and deed=

Before God=and ALL the people’”                                                                                                  Luke 24:18-19

“THE Son is the=Is the radiance of God’s glory=and the exact representation=Of his being=

Sustaining all things=BY HIS POWERFUL WORD”                                                                          Hebrews 1:3

 

The People of Israel=had known MANY HARDSHIPS=and Isaiah tells them=They MUST

OVERCOME their FEAR yet again=Isaiah INVITES GOD’S PEOPLE=to PEACE though FAITH=

To place THEIR CONFIDENCE=In God’s abiding PRESENCE=He tells them to TURN OVER

=THEIR FEARS to God=to have FAITH IN GOD’S LOVE=For it makes us STRONGER=than

Any FEAR=The world can THROW at us

GOD’S LOVE=IS STRONGER THAN OUR FEAR!

 

“BE STRONG and courageous=Do NOT be afraid or terrified=Because of them=For the LORD=

Your God=Goes with you=He will NEVER leave you=or forsake you”                              Deuteronomy 31:6

“We who are STRONG=Ought to bear=with the failings=of the weak=and NOT to

Please ourselves”                                                                                                                               Romans 15:1

“BE on your guard=Stand firm in the Faith=Be Courageous=BE STRONG==DO EVERYTHING

IN LOVE”                                                                                                                                         1 Corinthians 16:13

 

As Isaiah speaks=HIS COMFORTING WORDS to=The Faith of the PEOPLE OF ISRAEL=That

Their GOD OF LOVE=Continues to WALK with them=EVERY step of the way=IN the face of=

EVERY OBSTACLE IMAGINABLE=The people of Israel continue to TRUST GOD=For the

WORD OF GOD=Is inviting WITH FAITH=LOVE= GOD’S LOVE=Is always STRONGER=than fear=

EVEN for you and for me=IN THIS=the 21^st CENTURY=of Jesus’ CHOSEN APOSTLES!

 

The QUESTION for us is:= WILL WE Give in to our fears=or will we Continue to TRUST IN

The LOVE OF GOD AND JESUS?=We should=FOR GOD’S LOVE IS=More POWERFUL=

Than any of our fears

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=IN OUR EVER FAITHFFUL=ever living and Loving=Ever

Strong=and EVER POWERFUL=Our Most Holy FATHER GOD!
