JESUS DID IT TOO!

(Get BAPTIZED that is)

 

CHANCES ARE=If you are a Catholic/Christian LIKE ME=You don’t remember it=For it

Was WHEN=You were an infant=MINE was February 6^th, 1955=About 3+ weeks=

AFTER I was born=and the ANNIVERSARY=Of my mom and dad’s wedding

 

Today=January 11^th, 2026=We commemorate THE BAPTISM of Jesus=By his cousin John=

I have been baptized SEVERAL times=IN the Christian Faith=as an adult=I DO REMEMBER THOSE!=

“The Jesus came from Galilee=To the Jordan=to be Baptized by John=But John tried

To deter him saying’=”’I need to BE BAPTIZED=by you and do you come to me?’   Matthew 3:13-14

“Jesus replied’=’LET it be so now=It is proper for us=To do this=TO FULFILL all

Righteousness’=Then John consented”                                                                                Mathew 3:15

“AS soon as=JESUS WAS BAPTIZED=He went up=Out of the water=At that moment=Heaven

Was opened=and he saw=THE SPIRIT OF GOD=Descending like a DOVE=and Alighting

On him=And a voice from heaven said’=’This is MY SON=Whom I love=With him=I am

WELL PLEASED’”                                                                                                                                    Mathew 3:16-17

JESUS DID IT TOO!=Get BAPTIZED that is

 

CHANCES are=Even if you=Were BAPTIZED=as an adult=There were NO LIGHTS=and

There was NO VOICE from above=But there was a PRIEST/MINISTER=CALLING US=Into faith=

Along with a BAPTISMAL SPONSOR==And we can BE SURE=The Holy Father God=Was

FULFILLING our belief in Jesus=and that we were FOLLOWING HIM=Into FAITH=

JESUS DID IT TOO!=

But we NEED to ask ourselves=What does it MEAN TO BE BAPTIZED?

 

To be Baptized means=we have been IMMERSED IN WATER=Immersed into the death of

Christ=And WHEN we come out of THE WATER=We are a NEW CREATURE=In the Holy

Father God=and HIS SON JESUS CHRIST!=This means that we PUBLICLY PROCLAIM=

Our FAITH=In Jesus Christ=and with/and IN=The faith of God=THROUGH the Holy Spirit

OF GOD!”

 

“He put=A NEW SONG=In my mouth=A hymn of praise to our God=Many will see and

Fear the Lord=and put their TRUST in him”                                                                                     Psalm 40:3

“The days are coming’=Declares the Lord=’When I will make a NEW COVENANT=with

The people of Israel=and with the People of Judah’”                                                              Jeremiah 31:31

“In the same way=After the supper=He took the cup saying’=’This cup is the NEW

COVENANT=In my blood=Which is=Poured out for you’”                                                   Luke 22:20

And so today=MY dear SISTERS and brothers=As you THINK about your Baptism=

REMEMBER you are a=

 

NEW CREATURE=In Jesus Christ=and that you are LED=BY HIS EXAMPLE=In life=and

That your Thoughts=Your WORDS=and your deeds=are a REFLECTION=Of How

Jesus Christ=has EFFECTED YOUR LIFE=Jesus did it all=JESUS DID IT TOO!=Get baptized

That is=You are to BE a LIVING EXAMPLE=and a VOICE for him and his life

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of OUR EVER LIVING=EVER LOVING=ever TESTIFYING
