NOT DEATH-BUT LIFE
It’s not death
That scares me
But life
Living in a world
With murder
Not death
But life
Living in a world
With child predators
Not death
But life
Living in a world
With poverty and homelessness
Living in a world
That disrespects the aged
Not death-but life
Living in a world
Which values
Sex, money, and science
Above the respect
Of each and every human being
Not death-but life
Yeah
It’s not death but life
That terrifies me
Can we
Make this world
A better place
Not death
BUT LIFE
