REACHING OUT FOR OTHERS=LIKE OUR BARNABAS

 

 

 

 

 

 

REACHING OUT FOR OTHERS=

( Just like OUR BARNABAS)

 

 

As Christians=in this world=and HOPEFULLY                                                                                              

21^st century apostles=our JOB IS=to KEEP

REACHING OUT=to others=KEEP BRINGING GOD

To others=in this world

 

For Our Holy Father God=Our Jesus=and the disciple

Barnabas=whose feast it is TODAY=all did this=WE CELEBRATE

Barnabas today=He always TRIED to do GOOD=to BRING

GOD’S LOVE and work to others=This is our job too=to

BE LIKE BARNABAS=”……..they sent Barnabas=to go to Antioch=

When he arrived=and saw the GRACE OF GOD=he rejoiced=

AND ENCOURAGED THEM ALL……”                                                                                        Acts 11:22-23

 

Barnabas=always tried to HELP OTHERS=always tried

TO REACH OUT TO OTHERS=and bring them=what he could=

He TRIED=to help other Christians!

 

Barnabas SOLD=his valuable farmland=and GAVE the proceeds

To the EVER EXPANDING Faithful community=CONSTANTLY

Helping others=Constantly encouraging others=Constantly

REACHING OUT TO OTHERS!=it is our job too=to ENCOURAGE

OTHERS=Just like Barnabas=REACHING OUT FOR OTHERS!

 

“You Lord=hear the desire=of the afflicted=YOU ENCOURAGE THEM=

And you=listen to their cry”                                                                                                             Psalm 10:17

 

“Judas and Silas=who themselves=were prophets=said much

TO ENCOURAGE=and strengthen the believers”                                                                       Acts 15:32

 

“THEREFORE ENCOURAGE one another=with

These words”                                                                                                                                  1 Thessalonians 4:18

 

Barnabas=was constantly=REACHING OUT FOR OTHERS!=His

Name was Joseph=but he did so much=GAVE so much of

Himself=HIS FRIENDS=changed his name=to Barnabas=which

Means=”SON OF ENCOURAGEMENT”=Acts 4:36

 

That is our job too=TO REACH OUT=and do GOOD=just

Like Barnabas=HELPING our dear brothers and sisters

 

Let us UPLIFT=INSPIRE=and encourage others=just

Like Barnabas=did=and bring others=to THE FAITH=like

He did there too=GREAT SAINTS AND APOSTLES in this world

Keep=REACHING OUT FOR OTHERS=Just like Barnabas did

It is our job too!

 

“But the one=who prophesies=speaks to people= for

Their strengthening=ENCOURAGING=and comfort”                                                             1 Corinthians 14:3

 

“And let us consider=How we may spur=one another on=

Toward love and good deeds=Not giving up meeting together=

As some are in the habit of doing=BUT ENCOURAGING ONE

ANOTHER-------=and all the more=as you see the DAY approaching”                           Hebrews 10:24-25

 

And so my dear brothers and sisters=KEEP REACHING OUT

FOR OTHERS=Just like Barnabas=it is our job too=TO

ENCOURAGE OTHERS=and bring God’s love=goodness and

Forgiveness=to this world

 

I have a friend named Nicholis=who calls himself=the “ENCOURAGEANAIRE”

Taking the name after Barnabas=who tries to help others=Let us

TRY AND HELP OTHERS too=Just like Our Barnabas

 

So keep ENCOURAGING=keep REACHING OUT TO OTHERS=to

Help others=in this modern day world=that we LIVE IN=it is

Our job too=REACHING OUT FOR OTHERS!

 

In Jesus name=and in the name=of our ever loving=ever LIVING=ever ENCOURAGING

And ever good=HOLY FATHER GOD!
