A FATHER=FOR OUR TIMES

 

At a TIME=In our history=the 21^st CENTURY=When we find fathers=

MEN=Running away= from their RESPONSIBILITIES=we find that=

We can still LOOK=to the GREAT Saint Joseph=whose FEAST=it

Is today=A MAN=who stepped up=for the BABY Jesus=who

TURNED out to be=the Christ=THE RISEN ONE

“Joseph=son of David=do NOT be afraid to take Mary=Your wife

Into your home”=                                                                                                                       Matthew 1:20

 

Joseph=The husband of Mary=and the FATHER of Jesus=is

The Saint=FOR OUR TIMES=He is the MODEL FATHER=for our

Times too=He is also an EXAMPLE=for the interior life=He must have

Been=the STRONG silent type=For not a WORD=was spoken by Joseph=

And recorded=In the BIBLE=”A FATHER=to the fatherless=a defender of widows=

Is God=in his holy dwelling”                                                                                                           Psalms 68:5

“And=’I will be A FATHER=and you will be my sons=and daughters’=

Says the LORD ALMIGHTY”                                                                                                2 Corinthians 6:18

 

In a TIME=at our culture=WHEN men are running away=We can look to

Joseph=who ran TOWARD a responsibility=He was OPEN to God=and=

Open to work=and he was REWARDED for it=with a wife and a FAMILY=

Joseph is=TRULY a saint-for our times=A FATHER=FOR OUR TIMES

“The Lord=is a REFUGE=for the oppressed=a STRONGHOLD in times of

Trouble”                                                                                                                                                      Psalm 9:9

 

“He said to them’=’It is not for you=to know=The TIMES or dates=of the Father=

Has been set by=His own authority’”                                                                                                  Acts 1:7

“The woman was given=the two wings=Of a great eagle=so that she might fly=

To the place prepared=For her in the wilderness=Where she would be taken=

Care of=for a TIME=TIMES=and half a TIME=out of the serpent’s reach”         Revelation 12:14

 

And at a TIME=in our culture too=when People have TURNED their backs on

God=We can look=to the EXAMPLE of Joseph=who SHOWED an openness=

To hearing the WORD of God=and acting on it=He was INDISPENSABLE to

The SALVATION=of all of us=for Jesus=turned out to BE=OUR SAVIOR=

The SAVIOR of our world=Joseph=a Saint for our TIMES!

Joseph=A FATHER FOR OUR TIMES!

JOSEPH=the EXAMPLE for our times!=”I have set you AN EXAMPLE=that

You should do=as I have done for you”                                                                                         John 13:15

“Don’t let anyone=look down on you=Because you are young=but set=

AN EXAMPLE=For the believers in speech=in conduct=in love=in faith=and

IN PURITY”                                                                                                                                         1 Timothy 4:12

 

That is CLEARLY=what Joseph did=For the men of his TIME=as well as THE MEN

Of our time=He is=THE FATHER=FOR OUR TIMES=Joseph showed humility=He

Did NOT put his=own interests first=But the INTERESTS of his wife Mary=and his

Son Jesus=and the interest of=THE ALMIGHTY FATHER GOD!

 

Dear Lord=we PRAY=that Joseph TEACHES us=what it truly means to be=

A MAN’S MAN=Saint Joseph=Please PRAY for us

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=always righteous=

Forever living Holy Father God!
