CHOOSE LIFE!=CHOOSE LOVE!=This Lent

 

 

 

 

 

 

CHOOSE LIFE!=CHOOSE LOVE!

(This LENT)

 

LIFE is nothing=If anything=But a series of CHOICES=and

THE READINGS=in today’s Scriptures=Indicate that=The Choices

We make IN this life= are either LIFE-GIVING for ourselves-and for

Others=or they are LIFE HINDERING in some way=Setting us up

BEHIND the eight ball=so to speak=I am here to ask you=No

PLEAD with you=to make choices=that ADD to your life=and

To the life of YOUR FAMILY=CHOOSE LIFE!=Choose Love=this LENT

 

“This day=I call the heavens=and the earth=AS WITNESSES against you=

That I have set before you LIFE=and death=Blessings and curses=NOW

CHOOSE LIFE=so that you=and your Children=MAY LIVE=and

 

That you may LOVE=the Lord your God=Listen to his voice=and hold

Fast to him=For the Lord=IS YOUR LIFE=and he will give you Many

Years=In the land he swore=to Your Fathers Abraham=Isaac=and Jacob”        Deuteronomy 30:19

 

I think BACK=to that moment=In my life 48 years ago=When it looked

Like death was IMMENENT for me=I had just made MY FINAL PROMISE=

Through Father Newell=and Doctor Christian=Was working FURIOUSLY

On me=To TRY and get more antibiotics into me=CHOOSE LIFE=CHOOSE

LOVE=This day=and EVERY day of your life

 

I made my PROMISE=to God=for if he gave me life=and HE DID=and I

THINK of it=as MY OWN PERSONAL COVENANT=With the Holy Father God

And His SON Jesus=”I will maintain MY LOVE=to him forever=and MY

COVENANT=with him will never fail”                                                                                           Psalm 89:28

My dear friends=My dear brothers and sisters=I IMPLORE you to make

Decisions=That BENEFITS God’s LIFE giving way=and his LOVE giving way

This Lent=CHOOSE LIFE!=CHOOSE LOVE!

 

“Then the Lord God=Formed a man=From the dust=of the ground=and

Breathed into his nostrils=THE BREATH OF LIFE=and the man became a Living

Being”                                                                                                                                                            Genesis 2:7

“You make known to me=THE PATH OF LIFE=You will fill me with Joy=In your

Presence=With eternal pleasures=at your right hand”                                                         Psalm 16:11

 

This Lent=When anyone=Forgets to see YOUR VALUE=or derides you=

CHOOSE the life and love FINDING WAY of our Lord==Choose to LOVE them

Anyway=and do it in a WAY=that SHOWS off Your life giving talents

 

And WHEN=You meet a difficult HUMAN BEING this Lent=someone who

IS particularly difficult=and Challenging=Give them your biggest SMILE=

And say a HAIL MARY for them=Sometimes=I IMAGINE myself as shooting

Love darts at their heart too=MAKE the decisions of LIFE AND LOVE=Both

For yourself and for others This LENT

“You did not CHOOSE ME=But I Chose you=and appointed you=so that you

Might go and bear fruit--------Fruit that will last--------and so that whatever you ask=

In my name=The Father will give you=This is my command=LOVE EACH OTHER”            John 15:16-17

 

This Lent=Know that you have BEEN BLESSED=by the Holy Father God=His Son

Jesus Christ=and make your decisions=According to the LOVE=and life=that they

Gave you=Knowing that the HOLY SPIRIT of God=Is living INSIDE of you=now and

FOREVER

 

CHOOSE LIFE!=CHOOSE LENT!=this Lent=and MAKE life giving CHOICES for BOTH

Yourself and for others=In Jesus’ and The Holy Father’s name=THE GODS OF LOVE!
