KEEPING OUR FOCUS=ON GOD

 

Today we read about TWO SISTERS=One whose FOCUS

Is on God=and one who does not=Jesus LET them know=and

LET’S US KNOW=That the one thinking about God=Who had

Their FOCUS on God=was FOLLOWING THE RIGHT PATH=”

“Martha-Martha=You are ANXIOUS and worried=about many things=

There is need=of ONLY ONE THING”                                                                                              Luke 10:41-42

 

What is WORRYING YOU and making you Anxious=in this world?=

MAYBE it is TIME=for you to shift your THINKING=back to the

Holy Father God=and Jesus=CHANCES are=things will change

For the better

 

Jesus Tells Mary=You can WORRY and be anxious=about the things

Of this world=But there is NEED of only one thing=and that is=

KEEPING OUR FOCUS ON GOD!=God can work in us=He can DO IT

 

“Search me God=and know my heart=Test me and know=my

ANXIOUS THOUGHTS”                                                                                                                             Psalm 139:23

 

“For my THOUGHTS=are not YOUR THOUGHTS=Neither are your ways

My ways’=Declares the Lord”                                                                                                       Isaiah 55:8

 

“For the word of God=is alive and active=Sharper than=any double-

Edged sword=it penetrates even to=Dividing soul and spirit=Joints and

Marrow=It judges THE THOUGHTS=and attitudes of the heart”                                             Hebrews 4:12

 

Martha was working on=the things of this life=like getting dinner ready

For everyone=But Mary was INTENT=on LISTENING to the WORD OF GOD=

To Jesus=She knew what was REALLY IMPORTANT

 

WORK has to get done=in this world=That is so true=but we have

To KEEP everything IN PERSPECTIVE=it is so easy to get BOGGED DOWN

In this life=in the negative of this world=Its fears and anxieties=but we have

 

To look BEYOND OUR WORRIES=beyond our perceptions=and KEEP OUR

FOCUS=ON GOD=Who can make anything happen=who can MAKE

MIRACLES HAPPEN=God can help us to keep small things small in this life=and

FOCUS on the bigger picture=FOCUS YOUR ATTENTION on the Lord=God above

 

“Listen my sons=to a father’s instruction=PAY ATTENTION=and gain understanding”       Proverbs 4:1

 

“Therefore=rebuke them sharply=so that they will be=in the faith=and

Will pay no ATTENTION=to Jewish myths=or to the merely human commands=

Of those who reject the truth”                                                                                                                         Titus 1:14

 

Jesus was NOT telling Martha=that what she was doing=was not

Important=He was just telling her that there was SOMETHING that

Was MORE IMPORTANT=and that it is=THE WORD OF GOD=to keep

EVERYTHING in perspective in=This life=and that is TRUE for all of us too

KEEPING OUR FOCUS=ON GOD!

 

That is what=WE LIVE FOR=to keep everything IN PERSPECTIVE=to

KEEP OUR FOCUS ON GOD!=to keep small things SMALL=and to REALIZE

GOD makes the difference=in this life=and in MIRACLES

 

There is NEED=of only one thing=and that is to

KEEP OUR FOCUS ON GOD!=In Jesus’ name=and in the name=and in the name=

OF the most IMPORTANT THING in life=the WORDS from THE HOLY FATHER God=and

HIS SON!
