SOMETHING DEEPER=AND MORE LASTING

(PEACE)

 

I KNOW=Something about you=EVEN if I have never met you=You ask=HOW

Can I know=SOMETHING about you=I can=For it is ABOUT ME TOO=YOU are

SEARCHING FOR PEACE=A Peace=that this world CANNOT GIVE=I have been

Searching for it too=and I have FOUND IT=In my Lord Jesus Christ=and his

Holy Father God=”PEACE I leave with you=MY PEACE=I give to you=NOT as

The world gives=So I give it to you”                                                                                               John 14:27

 

PEACE in this world=Can be awfully difficult to come by=and so is Peace in our

PERSONAL SITUATIONS=Peace when DEATH has robbed someone from our life=

FAMILY OR FRIEND=Our own health situations=Peace in our financial matters=and

ESPECIALLY PEACE=In our Family and Friendship relationships

 

Then there is=ALWAYS war in the world=Between countries=Violence in our domestic

World=and there is NO PEACE=In our politics=or between religions=I KNOW something

About you=WE are still SEARCHING for SOMETHING DEEPER=AND MORE LASTING=Peace

From this world=Which can only BE FOUND=In our Lord Jesus Christ=and HIS HOLY

Father=GOD’S PEACE=Has nothing to do=With this world’s peace=Thank God

For that=or we could=NEVER FIND IT!

 

“A heart AT PEACE=Gives life to the body=But envy rots the bones”                                      Proverbs 14:30

“You will keep=IN PERFECT PEACE=Those whose minds are steadfast=Because

They trust in you”                                                                                                                                            Isaiah 26:3

“Glory to God=In the highest heaven=And on earth PEACE=to those on whom

His favor rests”                                                                                                                                           Luke 2:14

 

Yes God’s PEACE=Is SOMETHING DEEPER=and FAR MORE LASTING=and it has NOTHING

To do=with PEACE in this world=Or peace in our personal lives=It has to do with

The PEACE=from the Holy Spirit of God=and HIS SON=It LIVES in us=If we are BELIEVERS=

It is the peace=That BOTH stirs and QUIETS OUR SOULS=It is a DEEPER PEACE=

Than this world=Can ever give or offer=and it is=FAR MORE LASTING!

 

“I have told you=these things=So that in me=YOU MAY HAVE PEACE=In this world

You will have trouble=But Take HEART!=I have overcome the world”                               John 16:33

“Therefore=since we have=Been justified through faith=WE HAVE PEACE=With God=

Through our Lord Jesus Christ”                                                                                                          Romans 5:1

“But if the unbeliever leaves=Let it be so=The Brother or Sister=is not bound=In

Such circumstances=God has called us=TO LIVE IN PEACE”                              1 Corinthians 7:15

 

WE FIND these deeper moments=These MORE lasting moments=Each day==with

Jesus=and His Holy Father=When we do=Our daily prayers=When we attend MASS or

CHURCH SERVICE=Or when we LIVE out our Faith=By loving the Holy Father God=and

His Son=above all else=Or when we=LOVE ONE ANOTHER as ourselves

 

There is nothing WRONG with the world’s peace=or individual peace=IF we can find

IT=But we will never find it=WITHOUT the Holy Father God and His SON=in our

Faithful hearts=Which is SOMETHING DEEPER AND MORE LASTING=God’s peace

In Jesus’ name=and IN the name=of our EVER PEACEFUL=Holy Father God
