JUST ONE THING!

(Trusting IN=God’s DIVINE WILL)

 

I have ALWAYS LOVED=the  story of Martha and Mary=For if

You are  LIKE most of us=You get CAUGHT UP=In all the things that=

NEED to be done=and anxiety and panic set in=and I THINK that

IS=where Martha is at=in today’s story=But Mary has CHOSEN to=

SIT at Jesus’  feet=and HANG  on to his  EEVERY WORD=JUST ONE  THING!=

Is necessary=TRUSTING in the DIVINE WILL of Jesus=and   THE LOVE of=

The Holy Father God!=”’Martha-Martha’=The Lord   answered=’You are WORRIED=

And upset=About many things=but  FEW THINGS are needed=or indeed=ONLY ONE=

Mary has CHOSEN what=is better=and it will NOT be=Taken away from her’”      Luke  10:41-42

 

So that is=WHERE it Is at=My dear friends=NOTHING is as IMPORTANT=as the

WORD OF GOD=No preparing=is as IMPORTANT=as LISTENING to Jesus=and

HONING IN=on the WORDS of God=Honing in=ON his teachings=PRAYING

That we ALL do=Just like Mary=JUST ONE THING!

Trusting in=GOD’S DIVINE WILL!

 

“Woe to you=Teachers of the law=and Pharisees=You hypocrites!=You give a tenth=

Of your spices=--------Mint=dill=and cumin=But you have neglected the more=IMPORTANT

Matters of the law=--------Justice=mercy and Faithfulness”                                              Matthew 23:23

“THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE’=answered Jesus=’Is this=Hear O Israel=The Lord

Our God=Is ONE=LOVE the Lord your God=With all your heart=and with  all your soul=

And with all your mind and with all your strength……..’”                                                   Mark 12:29-31

 

My brothers and sisters=Our sister Mary got it=but what about Martha?=And what

About us?=Me and you?=It is so EASY=to get bogged down==IN the physical things of=

This life=That we must do=That we FORGET TO FOCUS=on the WORD OF GOD=and

TRUST IN=The Lord’s DIVINE WILL!

“I desire=TO DO YOUR WILL=My God=Your law is Within my heart”                                 Psalm 40:8

“Your Kingdom come=YOUR WILL BE DONE==On earth=as it is heaven”                      Matthew 6:10

“Truly I tell you=This generation=Will certainly not pass away=UNTIL all these

Things have happened=Heaven and earth will pass away=BUT MY WORDS will

Never pass  away”                                                                                                                                    Matthew 24:34-35

 

And so MY BROTHERS and sisters=What is=THE MOST IMPORTANT THING=in your

Life?=I HOPE it is=The LORD’S WORDS and teachings=and the DIVINE WILL

Of the LORD!=FOR JUST  ONE THING!=Is necessary=and that is=Trusting in=THE

DIVINE WILL=of Jesus=and His Father=The Holy Father God!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER  LIVING=forever loving=Forever

Teaching=OUR ONE and Only=Holy Father God!
