SHE HAD FAITH TOO!

(We all should)!

 

Today=We CELEBRATE=The FEAST of  the FAMILY of=Mary=Martha=and

Lazarus=Two sisters and a brother=Of the three of them=Martha takes=

The WORST RAP=For worrying about getting things done=But don’t EVER

Doubt the fact=That Martha had FAITH TOO=Just like her sister and=

Her brother Lazarus=SHE HAD FAITH TOO!=”YES LORD’=Martha replied=’

I BELELIEVE=That you are the Messiah=The Son of God=Who is to COME=

Into the world’”                                                                                                                                  John 11:27

How is that for FAITH?=SHE HAD FAITH TOO!

 

ANXIETY and Worrying about getting things done=are terrible things=But I think=

We ALL=have a little bit of that ANXIETY=and we all NEED=A little  bit MORE FAITH=

In ourselves=and the Father God and His SON=Like Martha did=We should ALL=

Have her FAITH!=”At that time=Many will turn away=FROM THE FAITH=and will

Betray and hate each other”                                                                                                           Matthew 24:10

“HAVE FAITH in God’=Jesus answered”                                                                                    Mark 11:22

“I long to see you=That I may impart to you=Some spiritual gift=To make you strong=-----

That is=That you and I=May be mutually encouraged=BY EACH OTHER’S  FAITH”  Romans 1:11-12

 

That is=WHO Martha=Mary=and Lazarus were=A FAMILY=that encouraged each other=

With their GREAT FAITH=I would LIKE to think=That that  IS=who MY FAMILY is too=A family=

That ENCOURAGES each other=With our MUTUAL FAITH=I LOVE my sisters Terri and Mary=and

I will FOREVER REMEMBER my parents=Who stood by us all=WITH THEIR GREAT FAITH=There

First dates=were to the “FATIMA” NOVENA=and the day=I EXPERIENCED my miracle of LIFE=

Was February 11^th, 1977=The  feast of=OUR LADY OF LOURDES=She=Martha=had great FAITH=

As did her sister Mary=and her brother Lazarus=WE SHOULD TOO!

 

“Accept the one=WHOSE FAITH is weak=Without quarreling over disputable matters”  Romans 14:1

“Be on your guard=Stand firm=IN THE FAITH=Be courageous=Be strong=Do everything

In love”                                                                                                                                                        1 Corinthians 16:13

“For we=LIVE BY FAITH=Not by sight”                                                                                           2 Corinthians 5:7

Martha sure TAKES such a bad rap=That I find myself ROOTING for her=She has every BIT=

As much FAITH=as Mary and Lazarus=She Martha=HAD FAITH TOO!

 

She GROWS in faith=which we all=need to do=She is GRIEVING at the LOSS=of her brother=

And yet she still=SHOWS JESUS HER FAITH=SHE HAD FAITH TOO!

“……..If you continue in=YOUR FAITH ESTABLISHED=and firm=and do NOT=Move from

The hope  held out=In the gospel”                                                                                                         Colossians 1:23

“NOW FAITH is confidence=In what we hope for=and assurance about we do

Not see”                                                                                                                                                         Hebrews 11:1

 

Dear Lord=HOLY FATHER GOD=We pray  to you=FOR FAITH like Martha’s=When

Doubt and worry are closing in on us=For she had=MARTHA had FAITH TOO!=In all

Circumstances of life=MAY WE HAVE THAT SAME FAITH TOO!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=Of our EVER FAITHFUL=ever hopeful=Holy Father

God!
