The late GREAT heavyweight boxing champion=was

ONCE was a winner=When he was knocked down SEVEN TIMES

When asked=what PROMPTED him=to KEEP getting back up=Floyd

Patterson said=”I figured=IF I could get UP=ONE MORE TIME=

Than he knocked me down=I COULD WIN”=and Floyd did WIN

This particular fight

 

And that is the STORY=of OUR CHRISTIAN LIVES=my friends=My

Dear brothers and sisters=We are Going to GET knocked down=OVER

And over again=in this life=but our JOB is to=KEEP GETTING BACK UP!=to

RISE above=what life throws at us=to be AN EXAMPLE=LIKE OUR JESUS=

Like Floyd Patterson=Rise above=KEEP GETTING BACK UP!

 

“But your dead=WILL LIVE Lord=Their bodies WILL RISE=--------

Let those who dwell in the dust=Wake up=and shout for joy=--------

Your dew is=LIKE the dew of the morning=the earth will give birth

To her dead”                                                                                                                                                    Isaiah 26:19

 

“Sir they said’=’We remember=that while he was still alive=that deceiver

Said’=’After three days=I WILL RISE AGAIN’”                                                                               Matthew 27:63

 

But Jesus=WAS NO DECEIVER=He always=DID what he said=He spoke

THE TRUTH=and he kept doing it=EVEN AFTER DEATH=He kept

GETTING BACK UP!

 

And that is OUR LOT=in life too=My dear brothers and sisters=to

KEEP GETTING BACK UP!=No matter what this LIFE=throws at us=HEALTH woes

Financial setbacks=and relationship issues=Until we RISE AGAIN=in the

ETERNAL KINGDOM=of our Lord=and his Holy Father God=KEEP

GETTING BACK UP!=Rise again

 

“Do not be amazed at this=for a time is coming=WHEN all who are

In their graves=Will hear his voice=and come out-------those who have done

What is good=WILL RISE TO LIVE=and those who have done what is evil=will rise

To be condemned”                                                                                                                                              John 5:28-29

 

“For the Lord himself=Will come down from heaven=With a loud command-

With the voice=of the Archangel=and with the trumpet call of God=and the

Dead in Christ=WILL RISE FIRST”                                                                                               1 Thessalonians 4:16

 

Yes my FRIENDS=Floyd Patterson=Was a winner at boxing=a winner at life

He kept=GETTING BACK UP!=But Jesus is=OUR ULTIMATE EXAMPLE=for

NOT even death=Could keep him=DOWN for the Count=HE KEPT

GETTING BACK UP!=Rise Up

Get UP with Jesus=for the ULTIMATE PRIZE=that is my goal=to STAND=with

The Holy Father God=and His Son Jesus=in the LAND OF THE LIVING GOD!

KEEP GETTING BACK UP!

 

“So we make it=OUR GOAL=to please him=Whether we are at home=In

The body=or away from it”                                                                                                             2 Corinthians 5:9

 

“I press on=TOWARD THE GOAL=to win the prize=for which God

Has called me heavenward=In Christ Jesus”                                                                          Philippians 3:14

 

YES=my brothers and sisters=KEEP GETTING BACK UP!=and maybe one day=

We will hear those GLORIOUS WORDS=”WELL DONE=good and Faithful

Servant”                                                                                                                                                 Matthew 25:21

 

In Jesus’ name=and in he name=of OUR FOREVER LIVING=forever loving=

FOREVER RISING=Our Holy Father God!
