MAN OF FAITH=Just Totally=LIVING ON=

The Love of God

 

ANOTHER one of MY CHRISTMAS PRESENTS=this year

From my sister Mary=was a coffee mug=that says=

“MAN OF FAITH”=and that is=what I LIKE to think=that I am=

What about you?=Just PEOPLE OF FAITH=reaching out for

THE LOVE OF GOD=and the love=IN ONE ANOTHER=Just

CARRYING=the love of=THE HOLY FATHER=God and Jesus=

ALL the way Home=and to LIVE in eternity with them!=

“He humbled you=Causing you to hunger=and then feeding

You with manna=Which neither you=Nor your ancestors=had known=

To teach you=That man=Does not live on bread alone=but

ON EVERY WORD=that comes from=the mouth of the Lord”                                      Deuteronomy 8:3

 

“But now your kingdom=will not endure=The Lord=has sought out=

A man after his=HIS OWN HEART=and appointed him=Ruler of his

People=Because you have not kept=The Lord’s command”                                   1 Samuel 13:14

 

“The devil said to him’=’If you are=the Son of God=tell this stone=

To become bread’=Jesus answered=’It is written=’Man does

NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE’”                                                                                                 Luke 4:3-4

 

I have LIVED=all of my life=particularly since I am 22=TRYING

To live=by and ON THE WORD OF GOD=Living a LIFE=out of

My control=TOTALLY DEPENDENT on the Holy Father God and Jesus=Indeed

Trying to be=A MAN OF FAITH

 

But isn’t that =Who we all are=MEANT TO BE=PEOPLE OF FAITH=Living

Totally on=THE TEACHINGS OF Jesus=and his Holy Father=People of FAITH=

Men and women of faith=”And being found=In appearance=AS A MAN=

He humbled himself=By becoming obedient to death--------=even death on

A cross”                                                                                                                                                       Philippians 2:8

 

“For there is ONE GOD=and one mediator=Between God and mankind=

The man Christ Jesus=Who gave himself=as a ransom=for all people”                         1 Timothy 2:5

 

But what does it mean=to be=A PEOPLE OF FAITH=What does it mean

To BE= a man or WOMAN OF FAITH=for me=it means TRUSTING GOD

And Jesus=No matter=What is going on=IN OUR LIVES=It means BELIEVING

In love=and LIVING THE GOSPEL TESTIMONY=with love and forgiveness=and

KINDNESS=despite whatever=THE WORLD THROWS AT US=and despite

ALL the junk=and selfishness=People throw at you

 

“BY FAITH=we understand=that the universe was formed=At God’s command=so

That what is seen=was not made out of=what is VISIBLE”                                                         Hebrews 11:3

 

“And let us=run with perseverance=the RACE marked out for us=Fixing

Our eyes=On Jesus=the pioneer and PERFECTER OF FAITH”                                                     Hebrews 12:2

 

I INVITE you=to be A MAN OR WOMAN=OF FAITH=if you are not already

One=Because it seems to me=That is what we NEED to sustain us=when

Things go wrong=Let us all BECOME 21^st century apostles=IN Christ Jesus=

And The HOLY FATHER GOD=in this MODERN DAY World=that we live in

 

Men of faith=Women of faith=PEOPLE OF FAITH=Just LIVING IN=

The name of OUR HOLY FATHER GOD=and His Son Jesus Christ!
