Be the change

If you want to see change

In this world

 

If you want a world

Based on love

Live love

 

If you want a world

Based on forgiveness

Live forgiveness

 

Change means to

Make a difference in some way

To alter or transform

 

Jesus said,

“Love your enemies

Do good to them

And lend to them

Without expecting anything back

Then your reward will be great

And you will be sons

Of the most high

Because he is kind

To the ungrateful and wicked

Be merciful

Just as your Father is merciful”               Luke 6:35-36

 

BE THE CHANGE

 

“But I tell you

Do not resist an evil person

If someone strikes you

On the right cheek

Turn to him the other also”               Matthew 5:39

 

……..

“If someone forces you

To go one mile

Go with him 2”                               Matthew 5:41

 

BE THE CHANGE

 

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked,

“How many time should I

Forgive my brother

When he sins against me

Up to 7 times?”                           Matthew 18:21

 

Jesus answered,

“I tell you

Not seventy times

But seventy times seven”        Matthew 18:22

 

Radical thinking

To be sure

 

Was he right

You know he was

 

Nothing was ever built

On hatred

Nothing was ever built

On vengeance

 

Love is rock

Hatred is sand

Forgiveness is rock

Resentment is sand

 

Kindness is rock

To be like Christ

Once said,

“Speak the Gospel at ALL times---use words if necessary”

 

Have you ever tried

To change someone’s opinion on something

 

How successful were you

 

Be it

Do it

Live it

 

Let others see

The love of God in you
