NOTHING EASY=BUT GRACE IN ABUNDANCE

(HELPS)

 

TODAY=Jesus tells us=IF we want to be HIS FOLLOWERS=WE must pick

Up our CROSSES=and follow him=There is NOTHING EASY=about carrying

OUR CROSSES=In this life=We have health crosses=Our Financial crosses=

And our relationship crosses=But the HOLY FATHER God=Gave his Son

Jesus=GRACE IN ABUNDANCE=to get the JOB done=and he GIVES US=

That same GRACE  IN ABUNDANCE to help us=”Whoever wishes=to

Come after me=Must deny himself=Take up HIS CROSS=and follow me”               Matthew 16:24

 

ONE=who did it EXPERTLY=was Saint Dominic de Guzma’n==Whose feast it is

Today=He founded=the  Order of the DOMINICANS=in 1216=and in ART=He is

DEPICTED=as carrying a staff=With a CROSS on top=He PICKED UP his cross=

BOTH figuratively and literally=WE should too=For this is=What we are CALLED to do=

And we will be=GIVEN GRACE IN ABUNDANCE to help

 

“You are=the Most  excellent of men=and your lips have been=Anointed with GRACE=

Since God has Blessed for you forever”                                                                                         Psalm 45:2

“For the law was=Given through Moses=GRACE and truth=Came through

Jesus Christ”                                                                                                                                            John 1:17

“But the gift=Is not like the trespass=For IF many died by the trespass=Of the one

Man=How much more=DID GOD’S  GRACE=and the gift that came by=THE GRACE=

Of one man=Jesus Christ=Overflow to the many”                                                                    Romans 5:15

 

To follow Jesus=TAKES EFFORT=and to follow=THE  SACRED EXAMPLE is=

NEVER EASY=But nothing is IMPOSSIBLE for God=For our God=The GOD OF LOVE=

And his Jesus=Give us GRACE IN ABUNDANCE=To HELP us follow him=and His

Holy disciples=When we pray=when we PERSEVERE=In the Father=and when we LOVE=

With the LOVE of God=and his SON=We can PICK UP our crosses=Though NEVER EASY=

We can do it=With the ABUNDANT GRACE=from our God of Love

 

“AS God’s co-workers=We urge you=Not to receive GOD’S GRACE in vain=For he says’=

‘In the time=of my favor=I heard you=and in the day of salvation=

I HELPED YOU’”                                                                                                                                      2 Corinthians 6:1-2

“In him=we have redemption=Through his blood=the forgiveness of sins=In accordance=

With the riches of GOD’S GRACE=That he lavished on us”                                             Ephesians  1:7

“It is right for me=To feel this way=About all of you=Since I have you=IN MY HEART=and

Whether I am in chains=Or defending and confirming the gospel=ALL of you share=

IN GOD’S GRACE=with me”                                                                                                              Philippians 1:7

 

MY dear brothers and sisters=We have been  INSPIRED by Jesus=and the fantastic

Saint Dominic=So we ASK the Holy Father God=To continue his work in us=as

21^st century Christians and Apostles=For NOTHING IS EASY=In this modern day world

That we live in=But we have GOD’S ABUNDANT GRACE=To HELP us get the job done

 

In Jesus’  name=and in the name=Of our Forever living and LOVING=and ever

GIVER OF GRACE=Our Holy Father God!
