FALLING AWAY=FROM RIGHT LIVING

 

Do you have IDOLS=IN THIS LIFE?=Oh yes you do=I DO=We all do=

AN IDOL is simply=ANYTHING you place=ABOVE our God of love and  FAMILY=

“They served THEIR IDOLS=Which became a  snare for them”                                   Psalm 106:36

 

An idol CAN=and does INCLUDE=the newsfeed=A CELEBRITY you are partial too=

YOUR POLITICAL PARTY=Or even your FAVORITE sports team=It is ANYTHING=

You are putting  ABOVE the  GOD OF LOVE and family=and we are OFTEN=very

STUBBORN about it=”From the rest=He makes a god=HIS IDOL=He bows down to

It and worships=He prays to it=and says=’Save me=You are my god’”                           Isaiah 44:17

“Now about food=sacrificed to IDOLS=We know that=’We all possess knowledge’=

But knowledge puffs up=while LOVE builds up”                                                                    1 Corinthians 8:1

“So the=about eating food=SACRICED TO IDOLS=We know that=’AN IDOL=Is nothing at

All=in the world’=and that=’There is no god=BUT ONE’”                                                      1 Corinthians 8:4

 

When we are worshiping IDOLS=If we  are putting something else=IN OUR LIVES=

Above the God of LOVE and Jesus=We are  =FALLING AWAY=FROM RIGHT LIVING!=

The Israelites FELL AWAY=from right living =and OFFENDED GOD=Over and over and

Over again=But BEFORE=we get too tough on them=Let US=take a look at ourselves=How

MANY  of us=Are living IN IDOLATRY?=in this world=By putting OUR MATERIAL WEALTH=Our sexual lives=Or even science=ABOVE our ever  LIVING God of love and HIS SON?=

“Put to death=therefore whatever  belongs to=Your earthly nature=Sexual immorality

Impurity=lust=Evil desires and greed=WHICH IS IDOLATRY”                                               Colossians 3:5

 

WHAT would it take=for us=To put=The GOD of Love=and HIS SON=Above our habits and

Compulsions?=IN our every day lives?=The Lord KNOWS=EACH and everyone=Of our

STRUGGLES=and gives us=THE HOLY SPIRIT=To keep our LIVES=from falling off track=

He gives us=The SPIRIT of love=Of courage and perseverance=To keep us from

FALLING AWAY=FROM RIGHT LIVING=

“As soon as=Jesus was baptized=He went up out of the water=At that moment=He

Saw=Heaven was opened=and he saw=THE SPIRIT OF GOD”                                                     Matthew 3:16

“And do not grieve=THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD=With whom you were  sealed=For

The day of redemption”                                                                                                                              Ephesians 4:30

 

What bad habits=OR IDOLS=Are keeping you=From PUTTING God NUMBER ONE=in

Your life?=With the HELP=From the Holy Spirit  Of God=The Father and the SON=You   CAN

Still get it right=You can keep=FROM FALLING AWAY=FROM RIGHT LIVING

 

Dera Lord and Dear Holy Father God=I and MY brothers and sisters=the 21^st century

APOSTLES=In today’s world=PRAY to you=to BRING us back to LOVE=and to Putting

And KEEPING GOD and Family=Number ONE in our lives=PLEASE RECUE US!
