FOR THE GOOD OF GOD=AND OTHERS

(GOD USES US)!

 

We may NEVER KNOW=God’s purposes=FOR OUR SUFFERING=in this life=

But you  can=BE SURE of one thing=God USES  your sufferings=to FURTHER

His purposes=In this world=And though=You MAY not see it=It will BE=

FOR GOD’S GOOD=and the GOOD of someone else=”The Lord said to Moses’=

‘I have LET you feast your eyes=Upon it=but you shall NOT cross over’”               Deuteronomy 34:4

 

God LED the Israelites=out of slavery=and into the PROMISED LAND=Through

Moses=Moses FAITHFULLY FULFILLED his calling=But he was NOT ALLOWED=to

ENTER the land of the  people=That was LEFT to Joshua=I don’t know WHY=but it

WAS Part of God’s plan=and for the GOOD OF OTHERS=Moses SUFFERED=for

The GOOD of his people=COMMON for prophets and Saints=JESUS suffered too!

 

“He was despised and rejected=By mankind=A man  of SUFFERING=and familiar

With pain=Like one whom people=Hide their faces=He was despised=and we=

HELD him in low esteem”                                                                                                                Isaiah 53:3

“He then began=to teach them=That the  SON OF MAN=Must SUFFER many things=

And be rejected by the elders=The chief priests=and the teachers of the law=and that

He must be killed=and after three  days=RISE again”                                                                  Mark 8:31

“To this=You were called=Because Christ SUFFERED for you=Leaving you an example=

That you should=Follow in his steps”                                                                                                  1 Peter 2:21

 

TWO who got it right=Were the Saints we honor today=Saints Pontian=and Hippolytus=

A POPE and a priest=who were MARTYRS=in the third century=What was  THE REASON=

For their suffering?=What is the reason=FOR OUR SUFFERING?=We don’t really know=But

WE KNOW=God does have a PLAN=and a  purpose==and God USES US=for him=and

FOR THE GOOD=OF OTHERS=Just like The Holy Father God=did with HIS SON=Using

His pain and SUFFERING=for the plan of GOD’S SALVATION=and like he=DID WITH MOSES=

God CAN=and does USE SUFFERING=to make the world better=and CHANGE IT

 

“Taste and see=That the Lord IS GOOD=Blessed is the one=who takes refuge in him”         Psalm 34:8

“This is=What the Lord says’=’Stand at the crossroads and look=Ask for the  ancient paths=

Ask where THE GOOD WAY IS=and walk in it=and you will find REST for your souls’”      Jeremiah 6:16

 

We are CALLED=to be saints and prophets too=Just like Moses=Just Like Saints Pontian=

And Hippolytus=We are called to BE SELF-GIVING=and KNOW God more deeply=in

This life=So somehow=someway=We WILL REST IN=God’s love FOREVER=Our lives=

OUR SUFFERINGS=are for THE GOOD OF God=and OTHERS=GOD USES US!

“For you know the grace=Of our Lord Jesus Christ=That though he was rich=Yet for your

Sake=He became poor=So that you through his poverty=MIGHT BECOME RICH”     2 Corinthians 8:9

 

We may  NEVER BE MARTYRS=But we NEED  to live humble and willing LIVES=and

GIVE OUR SUFFERINGS=To the Holy Father God and Jesus=for the SAKE OF OTHERS=WE

Need to LIVE  THE GOSPEL STORY=OF LOVE!

 

In Jesus’ name=and IN the name of=OUR HOLY FATHER God=who DOES GOOD=with

OUR SUFFERING
