I have forgiven you

Real or imagined

Do you have limits=or do you HAVE BOUNDARIES=ON FORGIVENESS?=

Of another person=IF you do=I have some NEWS for you=and me too=If

 

We do=we are NOT LIVING=According to the TEACHINGS=of Jesus Christ=

And the HOLY FATHER GOD=STRETCHING OUR BOUNDARIES=ON FORGIVENESS=

“And if he WRONGS you=seven times=in one day=and RETURNS to you=

Seven times saying=’I am SORRY’=You should FORGIVE him”                                                         Luke 17:4

 

You have LIMITS=on your forgiveness=I do=WE ALL DO-And if we do=we

ARE NOT LIVING the way=God Wants us to live=This is an EXTREMELY

DIFFICULT TEACHING=extremely challenging=IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE=but

That is the WAY=Our Lord=wants us to live=WITHOUT KEEPING TRACK=of

How many times=a person=has wronged us=STENGTHENING OUR BOUNDARIES=

ON FORGIVENESS

 

God wants to STRETCH US=that is WHY we are Christians=to LIVE according

To the Holy Father God’s and Jesus’ PURPOSE=to LIVE with love=to live

With forgiveness=and to live with kindness=Living with PURPOSE=Living

With FORGIVENESS=in our hearts

 

“But with you=THERE IS FORGIVENESS==so that we can=with reverence

Serve you”                                                                                                                                                             Psalm 130:4

 

“All the prophets=Testify about him=That everyone who believes in him=

RECEIVES FORGIVENESS=of sins through his name”                                                                      Acts 10:43

 

“In fact=the law requires=that nearly everything=be cleansed

With blood=and WITHOUT the shedding of blood=there is NO FORGIVENESS”              Hebrews 9:22

 

Jesus tells us=INSISTS UPON US=that no matter=How Many times=a person

Sins against us=We are to FORGIVE INFINITELY=we are to forgive FREELY=and

We are to forgive family=forgive friends=and even FORGIVE STRANGERS=when

They have wronged us=STRETCHING THE BOUNDARIES=ON OUR FORGIVENESS

 

I HOPE =I am not keeping track=of how many times I have forgiven someone=

And I hope you are NOT EITHER!=We are to FORGIVE 70X7=”But who

Can discern their own errors?=FORGIVE my hidden faults”                                                             Psalm 19:12

 

“Then Peter came to Jesus=and asked’=’Lord=HOW MANY TIMES=shall I

FORGIVE=My brother or sister=who sins against me=’UP TO SEVEN TIMES?’

Jesus answered=’I tell you not seven times=but SEVENTY-SEVEN TIMES’”                  Matthew 18:21-22

In other words=INFINITELY=as CHRISTIANS=that is what we are supposed

To do=that is to be=ONE OF THE PURPOSES=of our life

 

Dear Lord=I pray=WE PRAY=that You the HOLY FATHER GOD=of love=

Of forgiveness=and kindness=STRETCH THE BOUNDARIES=of our hearts=and

That I/WE LEARN to forgive=in the WAY=you want us to do=NO KEEPING TRACK

Of how many times=STRETCHING THE BOUNDARIES=OF OUR HEARTS

ON FORGIVENESS=Learning to FORGIVE=as Jesus did

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our EVER LIVING=ever loving=ever

FORGIVING=Holy Gather God

The Ole’ Flag can still bring on

A glow of emotion, a sigh

When it snaps to an’ stretches out

Like cloth pinned to the sky.

 

Its culler’s once were carried with pride

Aroun’ the world just ‘bout everywhere

In theatres of war where heroes died

So that others would breathe free air.

 

I’ve seen it in the sunrise

Sil’vry dew hung on the bars,

An’ against the golden sunset

That bursts into blindin’ stars.

 

The Ole’ Flag, how proud it flies

Yet half-mast would befit it best,

When this last ol’e soldier dies

An’ goes to his LONG rest

He was a monk, a bishop, and turned out to be

One of the most popular Saints of the middle ages.

 

Legend has it that he once kissed a beggar-and that evening

Christ appeared to him wearing the same cloak that Martin

Had given the beggar.

Today=11-4-2023=is THE LAST DAY=of another ELECTION

COVERAGE=WHOEVER wins=50% of the COUNTRY=will be

HAPPY=and 50% will be ANGRY=and there will BE HEALING=

That needs to happen

 

PARTISANSHIP=is everywhere in today’s world=for NEITHER SIDE

Has an OPEN heart=or an open mind=for the other side=But Paul

GIVES us another PERSEPECTIVE TODAY=that we should HOLD

Near and dear=”……..HUMBLY regard others as MORE IMPORTANT

Than yourselves=EACH looking out=not for his own interests=but also

EVERYONE=for those of others”                                                                                                           Philippians 2:3-4

 

OUR GREAT SAINT Paul=LIVED in troubling times too=But he NEVER

Lost sight of=THE GOSPEL MESSAGE OF LOVE=for all of us

PUTTING ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES

 

He=Paul= Remembers to FOLLOW the gospel of LOVE=for life

And the GOSPEL OF LOVE=despite his times of HARDSHIP and

ADVERSITY=He ENDURED in love=Paul KNEW that the GOSPEL of

LOVE=could not be silenced=PUTTING ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES

For UNITY=”A friend LOVES at all times=and a brother(and sister)=is

Born=for a time of ADVERSITY”                                                                                                             Proverbs 7:17

 

GOD’S LOVE=Jesus’ love=HEALS ALL WOUNDS=it is TIME for us=to

GO BACK=to the HEALING POWER OF LOVE of our Holy Father God=and

NOT follow so much of=OUR POLITICAL DIFFERENCES=We CANNOT not allow

OUR DIFFERENCES=to hold us hostage=LOVE heals all wounds=WE cannot

NOT IGNORE=the mission of God in this world=HIS WORDS last forever

PUTTING ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES!

 

“I said’=’Have mercy on me Lord=HEAL ME=for I have sinned against you’”                         Psalm 41:4

 

“Jesus said to them’=’Surely you will quote this proverb=to me=’Physician

HEAL YOURSELF’=and you will tell me=’Do here in your HOMETOWN=

What we have heard you did in Capernaum’”                                                                                         Luke 4:23

 

“One day=Jesus was teaching=and Pharisees  and teachers of the law=

Were sitting there=They had come from every village=of Galilee=and from

Judea and Jerusalem=And the power=of the Lord was with Jesus=to HEAL

The sick”                                                                                                                                                                  Luke 5:17

 

Jesus had the MISSION of=the Holy Father God=and so did Saint Paul=

The MISSION WAS/is= to PUT ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES=and to LOVE ONE

ANOTHER=we have to FIND COMMON GROUND=for all of us=IN LOVE=

PUTTING ASIDE=ALL OF OUR DIFFERENCES=It is a CONSIDERABLE

CHALLENGE=and only PERFECT LOVE=can HEAL this world

Our HOLY FATHER GOD=Our Jesus=is counting on us=to do JUST THAT

 

“Blessed is the one=Whose sin=the Lord will NEVER count against them”                              Romans 4:8

 

“All this is from God=Who RECONCILES US=to himself through Christ=and gave us=

The MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION=that God was RECONCILING the

World to himself in Christ=NOT counting people’s sins against them”                   2 Corinthians 5:18-19

 

And so my friends=PUT ASIDE YOUR DIFFERENCES=and turn to

God’s EVERLASTING and INFINITE LOVE=GOD’S LOVE=can heal in

These troublesome times=just like it did=some 2,000 years ago=IN

Jesus’ name=and IN the name=and the name=Of OUR EVER LOVING=and

EVER LIVING=Holy Father God!

Yes=the GREATEST WORDS=in the HISTORY of the universe=are

LOVING GOD and loving all others=even NOW in the 21^st century=

PUT GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS!=Yes=our God of LOVE=should be

GREATER than anything else=IN OUR HEARTS=I BELIEVE LOVE=

Love of money=and love of sex?

 

ABOVE pornography=Above alcohol=above drugs=ABOVE television

GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS!=Do we TRULY love God=with all of our

Might=and PUT GOD=above everything else in our LIFE?

 

Do I have any false idols?=Is there anything COMING IN BETWEEN

God and me?=God must be GREATER=than our LOVE of anything else

IN OUR LIFE=”He regarded disgrace=for the sake of Christ=as a GREATER

VALUE=than the treasures of Egypt=Because he was looking ahead to

His reward”                                                                                                                                                  Hebrews 11:26

 

“If our hearts=condemn us=We know that God is GREATER=than our hearts=

And he knows everything”                                                                                                                       1 John 3:20

 

“You dear children=are from God=and have overcome them=Because

The ONE=who is in you=IS GREATER=than the one=who is in this world”                       1 John 4:4

 

Yes=if God is=if Jesus is=IF LOVE IS=GREATER IN YOU=than the world is=

You are=PUTTING GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS!=You are not worshipping false

Idols=You are=Putting God in your HEART=above the world=The HOLY FATHER

God and Jesus=are GREATER in you than anything else

 

We need to PERSEVERE=in=and OVER the trials of our life=in this world=We

NEED to keep=LOVE of God and OTHERS=ABOVE all other things=God ABOVE
ALL THINGS= Putting God FIRST!

 

“This is what the Lord says’=’--------Israel’s King and Redeemer=the

Lord Almighty=I AM THE FIRST=and I am the last=apart from me=there is

PUTTING GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS=because OUR HOLY FATHER GOD

And Jesus=are GREATER than anything else=that EXISTS in this world

 

DEAR GOD OF LOVE=we pray for YOUR LOVE=for YOUR words of love=to

LIVE in every part of us=of ME=for we TRULY love you and others=ABOVE

WITH AN UNBREAKABLE BOND!

 

 

 

 

 

 

WITH AN UNBREAKABLE BOND          

 

My dear friends=MY dear brothers and sisters=DO you

Know=that there is AN UNBREAKABLE BOND=with The Holy

Father God and Jesus=that supersedes even death?

 

And that BOND=Exists with our family members=our relatives=and

CLOSE FRIENDS too=Death CANNOT SEPARATE us=from God=or

From OUR LOVES ONES=The Holy Father God and Jesus=and their

LOVE=keep us CLOSE=even when we LOSE someone to death=This BOND

IS UNBREAKABLE=and survives Because our GOD LIVES!=UNBREAKABLE
BONDS!=”Chastised a little=they shall be GREATLY BLESSED…….”                                  Wisdom 3:5

“Who shall SEPARATE US=from the love of Christ?=Shall trouble

Or hardship=or persecution or famine=or nakedness=or danger

Or sword”                                                                                                                                                    Romans 8:35

 

I had a SPECIAL BOND=with my parents=and my grandparents=as well

As my Uncle John=and some of my other relatives and friends=who are gone

These CONNECTIONS go beyond death=WITH AN UNBREAKABLE BOND!

 

NOTHING can separate us=from the LOVE OF GOD=or from the love=with

OUR LOVED ONES=We are CONNECTED WITH=AN UNBREAKABLE BOND!

“So they are no longer two=but one flesh=Therefore what God has

Joined together=let no one SEPARATE”                                                                                                  Matthew 19:6

 

“To the married=I give this command(Not I=but the Lord)=A wife must

NOT SEPARATE form her husband”                                                                                                 1 Corinthians 7:10

 

“Therefore=come out from them=and BE SEPARATE”                                                     2 Corinthians 6:17

 

Today=NOVEMBER 2^nd=is ALL SOULS DAY=This REMEMBERANCE reminds

Us=that OUR CONNECTIONS with our loved ones=GO BEYOND EVEN DEATH=

So today=on ALL SOULS DAY-we REMEMBER our deceased loved ones=

IN OUR PRAYERS

 

We REMEMBER=their loving lives=and HOPES=and we remember all

THE GOOD TIMES=and even the CROSSES of their lives=For that helped them

BE the people that they were=We remember their LOVE=and with LOVE=and all

THE MEMORIES=we had together with them=For we had=and HAVE
AN UNBREAKABLE BOND!=We share with them=even in death

 

“She named the boy Ichabod=saying=’The glory has DEPARTED from Israel’-----

Because of the capture=of the ark of God=and the deaths=of her father-in-

Law=and husband”                                                                                                                                      1 Samuel 4:21

 

“I have NOT DEPARTED=from your laws=for you yourself have taught me”                        Psalm 110:102

 

And so today=my brothers and sisters=and dear FRIENDS=we OFFER UP

Our masses=our Church services=our prayers and our GOOD DEEDS=for

ALL the living=and all the DEAD=who were or are LOST SOULS

 

We OFFER up everything for them=who have left this world=for we

CONTINUE to love them and MISS THEM=and ache for them=in OUR HEARTS

WITH AN UNBREAKABLE BOND!

 

“REMEMBER the wonders he has done=his miracles=and the judgments=

He pronounced”                                                                                                                                      1 Chronicles 16:12

 

“REMEMBER your Creator=in the days of your youth=Before the

Days of trouble come”                                                                                                                            Ecclesiastes 12:1

 

And so MY dear friends=NEVER GIVE UP=on your relatives=and friends=

IN DEATH=Because they never gave up on you=IN LIFE=and had a

FOREVER BOND of love for you and WITH YOU!

 

WITH AN UNBREAKABLE BOND!=we REMEMBER our loved ones forever

In life=and IN DEATH

IN their names=and in the names=of our FOREVER LIVING=and loving Holy

I wear the scars

Of a lifetime of illness

I wear the scars

Of seven operations

But you know what

Life hasn’t beaten me yet

 

It can’t take my heart

It can’t take my soul

It can destroy my body

But in a way

I still feel whole

 

I wear the scars

Of many failed relationships

And no matter

How hard I tried

I couldn’t make it right

 

But

It can’t take my heart

It can’t take my soul

In a way

They destroyed my mind

But in a way

I still feel whole

 

I have been the subject

Of much lies and gossip

But I guess we all have

 

Why do we do that

To each other

Because you know what

From time to time

We are all going to slip

They can’t take my heart

And if I don’t let it

It can’t leave me

Feeling less than whole

 

Yes I have the scars

Both physical and mental

But I still feel whole

God’s kingdom=WE just have to BELIEVE=we are God’s children=

And live out of LOVE=For God and for others=”See what LOVE=the

Father has bestowed=on us=that we may be called=CHILDREN

Yes that is RIGHT=my brothers and sisters=You could BE A SAINT=

You could be CALLED=by the Holy Father God=and his son=Jesus Christ=

You just have to believe=You were called by God =to BECOME

You could be A SAINT=Just take a look =WHO has been called by God=

CHOSEN by God=maybe you are too=”Samuel answered=’HERE I AM”=

And he ran to Eli and said=’Here I am=You CALLED me’”                                                             1 Samuel 3:5

 

“This poor man=CALLED and the Lord heard him=He saved him out

Of all his troubles”                                                                                                                             Psalm 34:6

 

“But if the unbeliever leaves=let it be so=The brother or the sister=

Is not bound=in such circumstances=GOD has called us=to

Just take a look=at WHO God has CHOSEN to become SAINTS=

They come=in ALL SHAPES AND SIZES!=Maybe you have been

CALLED to be= God’s next gal or guy Saint=ALL SHAPES AND SIZES!

 

Some were SMART=some PREACHED SERMONS=some were illiterate=

ALL SHAPES and sizes!=Some even died IN OBSCURITY=Some

Were DEVOTED=and PRAYED constantly=or in silence=And some were

ACTIVE in deeds=and performed all kinds of activities=ALL SHAPES
AND SIZES!

 

The POINT is=ANY one of us=could have been=CALLED BY GOD=to be

SAINTS=for there is NO STEREOTYPE=they come in all shapes and SIZES

 

So did you=EVER WONDER=what a SAINT looks like?=Take a LONG
LOOK in the mirror=God’s NEXT SAINT could be you=for you have been

CHOSEN BY GOD=”But you Israel=my servant=Jacob=whom I have CHOSEN=

You descendants of Abraham=my friend”                                                                                          Isaiah 41:8

 

“For many are invited=BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN”                                                                         Matthew 22:14

 

“The people stood watching=and the rulers even sneered at him=

They said=’He saved others=let him save himself=if he is God’s

Messiah=THE CHOSEN ONE”                                                                                                              Luke 23:35

 

Some Saints died peacefully=and yet some others died violent deaths=

ALL SHAPES AND SIZES!=Some Saints were hot=tempered=others

Were not=ALL SHAPES and sizes=but all had ONE THING IN COMMON=

They BELIEVED they were called=believed they were CHILDREN OF GOD=

And that so was everyone else too=and so IF=you ever wondered what

A SAINT LOOKS LIKE=it could be you=for you are A CHILD OF GOD=

WE ALL ARE!

 

You could be=GOD’S NEXT FANTASTIC SAINT=so take a Long look

In the mirror=it could be you=For a SAINT COMES=in ALL SHAPES
AND SIZES!

WITH SOME OD FRIENDS!

 

As I sit here WRITING for=the GRACE OF GOD=to

Get HOOKED UP=In my old HOMETOWN=I have some random

THOUGHTS=about my so long=and MY NEW START

 

First of all=THANK YOU to all=who came out to say=”SO LONG”=

To me=There are NO goodbyes in my life=ONLY NEW STARTS=and

HELLOS=to my OLD/new friends=and HELLOS to all=of you

Here=whom I HOPE to see again=I THANK all of your efforts=to

COME out for me=You all=BOTH GROUPS are SAINTS to me=

HELLO/SO LONG=NEW STARTS=in my old hometown

 

You all=are the SAINTS of my life=my friends in SOUTHERN FLORIDA=and

IN PITTSBURGH=and in all places IN BETWEEN=We ALL are in this together=to

CHANGE this world=and bring it back TO LOVE=and LOVE OF GOD=and

LOVE OF EACH OTHER=Fond so longs=and NEW STARTS=in my

Old hometown=WE all are in this for the LONG RUN!

Between opinions?=If the Lord is God=Follow him=but if Baal is God=

Of course =If you ae a FRIEND of mine=In Florida=or Pittsburgh=

You are all SAINTS to me=You all really STEPPED UP for me

 

MY SISTER TERRI=My MVD=who has ALWAYS been there for me=and

MY SISTER and PAL Mary==within whom I was close even as a teenager=I

Would probably be HOMELESS=without the two of them=But with them

By my side=we continue=to MOVE FORWARD=FOND SO LONGS=New

STARTS=in my old hometown

 

MY MVF CHERYL=who worked tirelessly=and ORGANIZED=and made

SURE I got out of Florida=my MVC COUPLE Tom and Margie=who made sure

I got into PITTSBURGH=and got set up=And so many others=who

Have HELPED ME=along the way

 

Marie=Uncle Rege=Maggie and Tami=and Doctor Ray and Jan=so many of

You came to my party=and stepped up=in ONE WAY or another=I am quitting with

The names=YOU ALL WERE THERE for me=so I leave Florida with a

Sad heart=bur with HOPE=for myself and all of you in South Florida and Pittsburgh

You all=ARE SAINTS TO ME=Fond so longs=and NEW STARTS=in my old

HOMETOWN

 

“He put a NEW song=in my mouth=a hymn of praise to our God=Many will see and fear=

“See I will create=NEW HEAVENS=and a NEW EARTH=The former things

Is the NEW COVENANT=In my blood=which is poured out for you’”                                               Luke 22:20

 

And so my dear friends=OLD friends from Southern Florida=and NEW

Friends from Pa.,=You all are SAINTS to me=and I am grateful for EACH

And every one of you=I am ready=to keep MOVING FORWARD with LOVE

With all of you=I LOVE YOU!

Forever GUIDING Holy Father God!

HAPPY TRAILS ROY

 

 

He was my childhood hero

There was a time

When I only answered

To the name of Roy

 

He was known

As the singing cowboy

But he was

So much more

 

He worked

For abused women

He worked

For troubled teens

He worked

For the handicapped

And the chronically ill

He was a man

Of good will

 

He had

Much heartbreak in his life

Too much

To get into

But when asked

About his faith

He said

I am

Not doing anything

Anyone else

Wouldn’t do

 

Roy I know

That is not true

 

But on one thing

We do agree

It’s in the valleys

We learn

How small we are

Founders and operators of many children’s charities.
