A DESIRE TO BE WHOLE AGAIN
Many of us have
Been ILL during
Our life
Many of us deal
With a CHRONIC ILLNESS
Of some type or
Chronic limitations
In our life-
We desire to be
WHOLE AGAIN
"Jesus said to him=
'Rise=take up your mat=
And walk'" John 5:8
Today we read about
A man
Lying by the pool
At Bethesda
This man has lived
With a CRIPPLED BODY
For 38 years-
Yet Jesus asks him
"DO you want to be well?" John 5:6
I have been dealing with
A CHRONIC ILLNESS
For 42 years
IF I were this man-
I would scream out=
"YOU BET I DO"
Yes I have a DESIRE
To be WHOLE AGAIN
I have a desire
To be well again
Jesus saw into the man's heart
Jesus SEES into our hearts-
He recognizes our DESIRE
For WHOLENESS
He knows we all
Want to be WELL AGAIN
"For they are life
To those who find them
And health
To one's WHOLE BODY" Proverbs 4:22
"Why should you be
Beaten anymore?
Why do you
Persist in rebellion?
Your WHOLE head
Is injured=
Your WHOLE heart afflicted" Isaiah 1:5
"May God himself
The God of peace
Sanctify you
Through and through
May your WHOLE SPIRIT=
Sole and body
Be kept blameless
At the COMING of
OUR Lord Jesus Christ" 1 Thessalonians 5:23
Jesus HEALED this man's
Crippled body=
Jesus set into motion-
A kind of resurrection
For this man
A journey of HOPE
And HEALING=sometimes I wish
He would do the same
For you and me
For we all have
The desire to be
WHOLE AGAIN
"You Lord=
Hear the DESIRE
Of the afflicted
You encourage them
And you listen
To their cry" Psalm 10:17
"What the wicked dread
Will overtake them
What the righteous DESIRE
Will be granted" Proverbs 10:24
I was GIVEN THE MIRACLE
Of a second chance at life
And though I have NEVER-
Been granted WHOLE HEALTH=
I have been ENCOURAGED
By God and others
And I live in communion
With the FAMILY OF GOD
And the FAMILY of others
Feeling WHOLE ONCE AGAIN=
I hope that you
Feel it too

Has life EVER
Brought you
To your knees?
Has life ever brought you
To the point
OF DESPERATION?
It has me
OVER AND OVER AGAIN
When you get to
That point
Really heart felt point
Really GENUINE PRAYER
And knowledge of God-
HELPS to change things
"For it is LOVE that
I desire=not sacrifice
And KNOWLEDGE of God
Rather than holocausts" Hosea 6:6
Keep on PRAYING
Keep on looking for God-
Keep reading Scripture
Keep HEARING the words
Of Jesus
Get on your KNEES
And pray=GENUINE PRAYER
Can change things
Genuine prayer in
The BELIEF of God
Brings you back
From the point of desperation
"THROUGH glory and dishonor-
Bad report and good report-
GENUINE=yet regarded

GOD'S TIRELESS OFFER OF GRACE
GOD'S TIRELESS OFFER OF GRACE
God loves us FREELY=and
He lets us CHOOSE FREELY
Whether we will
LOVE him back=or not
Sometimes we choose WORLDLY WAYS
Over God's ways=yet he
NEVER gives up on us
"I will LOVE HIM FREELY" Hosea 14:5
Sometimes we turn away
From God=sometimes
We try to HIDE from God
But God can always SEE US
And he always loves us
And he is always watching for us
WAITING for us
With his arms OPENED WIDE
GOD'S tireless offer of GRACE
To us
"Out of the fullness
We have all
RECEIVED GRACE
In place of GRACE
Already given" John 1:16
"No! We believe it is
Through the GRACE
Of our Lord Jesus Christ
That we are saved
Just as they are" Acts 15:11
"In him
We have redemption
Through his blood
The forgiveness of sins
In accordance
With the riches
Of GOD'S GRACE........" Ephesians 1:7
GOD LOVES US
Even when
We reject him
He brings us
To himself
EVEN when we don't respond
He is with us

That is what GRACE IS
It is the sorrow
That we feel
When we sin
It is OUR DESIRE for HEALING

To FEEL GOD'S LOVE

How do you measure success
In your life
In today’s world
The secular world tells us
That more is better
Bigger is best
And if you are NOT no. 1
It is insignificant
It measures our value
By how much money
Or material wealth that we have
Or what
Our boyfriend or girlfriend looks like
And it is WRONG
The standards of God
Are different than this world
God tells us
That we
A single individual in this world MATTER
Regardless of our wealth
Or what we look like
ALL we have to do
Is look at the parables
In the 15th chapter of Saint Luke’s Gospel
To know HOW GOD FEELS about us
He tells us
ABOUT ONE lost sheep
ABOUT ONE LOST COIN
AND ABOUT ONE LOST SON
Trying to reconnect with his loving father
God doesn’t say-“Count my sheep”
He says-“FEED them”
So we know
That whoever we are
Whatever state that we are in
That we matter to God
AND GOD LOVES US
Jesus spent countless time-hours
Meeting with people one-on-one
Healing them-eating with them
Spending time with them
And then going off ALONE to pray
ONE MATTERS-to God
ONE MATTERS-to Christ
ONE MATTERS-YOU MATTER
Mother Theresa said,
“One does NOT call us to be successful
But to be FAITHFFUL”
And even
When we fail
In our life long battle to be faithful
As Saint Peter did
Jesus reaches out to us
In love and forgiveness
So we KNOW
That our success
DEPENDS on our relationship with God

TAKING THE TIME TO LISTEN TO GOD
Have you ever gotten
LOST=SPIRITUALLY=during
The way in LIFE?
Just like in life=God has
EQUIPPED us with
An ETERNAL GPS system
Taking the TIME to
LISTEN to God=listening
To our ETERNAL GPS system
“This rather-
Is what I commanded them
LISTEN to my voice=
Then I will be your God
And you shall
BE my people” Jeremiah 7:23
Do you ever get LOST
Along the way in life?
Do you CALL
On your GPS system?
And when we get
LOST SPIRITUALLY=
WE just NEED to call
On the GPS SYSTEM
Of God
We just have
To READ the words of Jesus
And listen to HIS spiritual INSIGHTS
And read the writings of some
Of the great WRITERS of our time
And their INSPIRATIONS
And follow the GUIDANCE
Of the Holy Spirit
TAKING the time
To LISTEN TO GOD and
FOLLOW our GPS SYSTEM
“Let the wise LISTEN
And add
To their learning
And let the discerning
Get GUIDANCE---------” Proverbs 1:5
“Then a cloud appeared
And covered them
And a voice came
From the cloud=
'This is my SON
Whom I love

TAKING THE TIME to listen=
To God=to
Listen to Jesus
And FOLLOW the GPS system
They have laid out
For us
TAKING DIRECTIONS FROM GOD
When God CREATED us-
He wanted us
To be in UNION with him
In LOVE and in FRIENDSHIP
And he wanted us
To SHARE our directions
And communications with him
And with others too
God KNEW that our union
With him=would be hard=
And that we might
Make a FEW WRONG TURNS
That is WHY he gave
Us EACH OTHER=that is why
He gave us SCRIPTURES and
Jesus' WORDS
To help us get
BACK ON TRACK
When our hearts are SILENT
And LISTENING=to him=when we
Have this GPS SYSTEM turned on
We have all
The GUIDANCE=that we need
“And God has
Placed in the CHURCH
First of all=apostles-
Second=prophets-
Third=teachers
Then miracles-
The gifts of healing
Of helping-
OF GUIDANCE
And of different
Kinds of tongues” 1 Corinthians 12:28
Dear Lord=help us always to
Have our GPS system TURNED ON
And be taking the TIME TO
LISTEN TO YOU

WITNESS

DON’T FORGET TO REST
We work hard
We play hard
Sometimes it seems
We don’t have a minute
For ourselves
Sometimes-we need to
Take a step back-AND REST
Just let our bodies recharge
And our minds and our hearts
And our souls
For EVEN God did
“So God BLESSED the seventh day
And made it holy
Because on it
He rested from ALL the work
He had done in CREATION” Genesis 2:3
DON’T FORGET TO REST
Rest is a BLESSING
It allows our body-mind-and soul
A chance to recharge
Sometimes we can urge ourselves
To do one more thing
COMPLETE one more task
And it leads to another
And before you know it
WE ARE DRAINED
Take the time to rest
Whether it be
The Sabbath day
Like the Lord suggested
Or even just a minute here-a day there
Or a day or two there
“Remember the Sabbath day
By KEEPING it holy
Six days you shall labor
And do ALL your work
But the seventh day
IS a Sabbath day to the Lord your God” Exodus 20:8-10
(*It doesn’t have to be a Saturday or a Sunday)
Or even just some hours
To put your MIND at REST
And meditate on the
AWARENESS OF GOD’S PRESENCE
In your life
It does not matter
As long as
We do it-in some fashion
Dear Lord-we pray

And that we take a day
Or a few hours each day
To step back
And think about what’s important
In life
GOD-and FAMILY-and FAITH
For REST is a BLESSING
To help us
KEEP our priorities in order

Do you APPROACH God

Approach God THIS WAY
Showing SINCERITY is a
Great WAY to approach God=
And I think we
Are RECEIVED by God
When we approach him
This way
“But with CONTRITE HEARTS
And humble spirit=
Let us BE RECEIVED” Daniel 3:39
I think sometimes we
Have a TENDENCY
To beat ourselves up
A little too much
I think it is GREAT
To be REAL with ourselves
To be HUMBLE
But let us NOT over do it
Let us not make ourselves
Feel worthless
God RECEIVES us in=WHEN
We are HONEST with him=
When we approach him
With HONESTY and HUMILITY
Let us BE SINCERE with GOD

The first step
For preparing

New crop
Just as we MOVE FORWARD

Is the preparing of HOW
In our lives

Given to us by God

Get out your plows
Move forward with your lives-
PLANT signs of hope
For yourself-and for others
Sometimes weeds and briars
Threaten our good works
And the good works of GOD
But GOD'S GRACE
Just like the plow
Can UPROOT the weeds
And still allow us
To be productive
Jesus says:
“DO NOT look backwards,”
But continue to look forward
THROUGH the grace of God
Plow ahead with grace
With the Lord LEADING US

Put your HOPE in God

PRAISE HIM

CALMING OUR TROUBLED HEARTS
In an attempt
To CALM her troubled heart
Sacred words were given
To Mary
By the angel Gabriel
“The Holy Spirit
Will come upon you
And the power
Of the MOST HIGH
Will overshadow you” Luke 1:35
And so MANY of you=
My dear FAMILY & FRIENDS
Are going through
TROUBLED times right now
REST ASSURED=that I
Am PRAYING for you all=
That the MOST HIGH
And Holy Spirit=
COMES to you this week
And CALMS-
Your troubled hearts
Just like Mary
“They were glad
When it grew CALM
And he guided them
To their DESIRED haven” Psalm 107:30
“A hot-tempered person
Stirs up conflict
But the one
Who is patient
CALMS a quarrel” Proverbs 15:18
“Fools give fool vent
To their rage
But the wise
Bring CALM

Mary must have been
A person of
INCREDIBLE FAITH-
Particularly those months
Before Jesus' birth
What a VESSEL of faith
She was-
Her ENTIRE LIFE
And what vessels of FAITH
You all are
To PUT up with
All you have
But WE have
To KEEP UP the faith=
We HAVE to keep on going
Like Mary=we have
The ANGELS=the Holy Spirit
And the Lord God ALMIGHTY
On our side
“For he will
Command his ANGELS
Concerning you
To guard you
In all your ways” Psalm 91:11
“He will command
His ANGELS=concerning you
To GUARD you carefully” Luke 4:10
The angels had Mary
In the PALM
Of their hands
And they have
ALL OF US there too
The words spoken
By the angels to Mary=
Are words
We can TAKE
To our OWN HEARTS
For comfort
In our ways=
WE are called
To give BIRTH to
Christ too
In our daily living
In our ways of LOVE=
Kindness and comfort
Just remember the ANGEL'S VOICE=
And that the Holy Spirit is
HOVERING over us too
Learn to TRUST in God
And the Holy Spirit=
They got you COVERED-
They are CALMING YOU
And making all things RIGHT

As well as great generosity
And FAITH
In ALL of our families
God's promises
As well
As the promises of our own life
ARE FULFILLED
In ways
That we never expected
Or through people
We never would have guessed
MAYBE
We married
The type of person
That we thought
We never
Would have expected to
In a million years
OUR GOD is full of surprises
WHO would have guessed
That a nomadic preacher
ROAMING through the wilderness
And from town to town
Would turn out to be
The Messiah
THE SON OF GOD
No one
OR he would not have wound up
ALL ALONE
Dying on a wooden cross
At the end of his life
And WHO would have guessed
That he would PROVE it
BY RISING from the dead
Three days later-certainly NOT his apostles
THE GOD OF SURPRISES
And who would
Have guessed
He (Jesus) would
First appear to a woman-Mary Magdalene
Certainly not her-certainly not us
THE GOD OF SURPRISES
Who would have guessed
Abraham would wind up
Being the FATHER of many nations
And the FOUNDER of the Jewish Nation
Certainly not Abraham
Certainly not Sarah-his wife
Who didn't give birth to Isaac
UNTIL she was in her 90's
The God Of Surprises
OUR GOD IS
And who would have guessed
Moses-a stutterer and a murderer
Would LEAD his people
Out of slavery
And out of Egypt
ALMOST to the PROMISED LAND
The BIBLE goes on and on
With surprises and examples
Of the people that God USED
Who is God
USING TODAY
Maybe you
Maybe me
Maybe
ALL of us
Well
Like the SURPRISES
Within our own life
And in our own family
WE WILL
Have to tune in today and tomorrow
To see who GOD is using

Do you like to COMPLAIN?
I think we ALL like to
At one time
Or another
The difference is that some of us
Are WHINERS too=we don't
EVER want to let things go
“Do NOT GRUMBLE
As some of them did........” 1 Corinthians 10:10
The Israelites=when they
Were in the wilderness
Liked to COMPLAIN=
They grumbled about everything
And according to Saint Paul
The Corinthians were quite
PROFICIENT at complaining too
Today's passage by Saint

Both explain
And defend himself
“So the people
GRUMBLED against Moses=saying=
'What are we to drink?'” Exodus 15:24
“Don't GRUMBLE against
One another=
Brothers and sisters
Or you
Will be judged
The JUDGE

VOICING a complaint
Against someone or something
Doesn't have to be HARMFUL
It actually can be HEALTHY
To let OFF some steam
At times
As long as we do
NOT let resentment
Or crankiness develop
There were times even
When Jesus COMPLAINED
About his disciples
They DON'T GET or understand
The message=
The people keep on
ASKING for SIGNS=and then
THERE were the money changers
Once we COMPLAIN we
Have to let it go
It has to be
OVER AND DONE WITH
The same voice=the
SAME COMPLAINING over and over again
Turns into WHINING
We have to STAY AWAY
From verbally attacking
Or BLAMING OTHERS
We have to REMEMBER
To BUILD each other up=
We have to remember
That GOD GUIDES US=
Guides our spiritual life
“GUIDE me
In your truth
And teach me
For you are God
My SAVIOR
And my hope
Is in you

Will GUIDE you always
He will

FINDING GOD AGAIN
Have you ever TURNED
AWAY from God
In your life
About something
That has happened?
I wonder HOW MANY
People have LOST God
During their life=for
ONE REASON or another
There is a great story
About FINDING GOD AGAIN
In the 15th chapter
Of Saint Luke's gospel
And it is COMMONLY known
As THE PRODIGAL SON
“Then let us celebrate
With a FEAST
Because this son
Of mine was dead
And has come to
LIFE again
He was lost
And has been FOUND” Luke 15:23-24
The 15th chapter of
Saint Luke is about
One lost sheep-
One lost coin-and
ONE LOST SON
God wants you to
Come HOME=
FINDING GOD AGAIN
We don't need explanations
We don't need excuses
We just need a CONTRITE HEART
And obedience to GOD'S WORD
And God will WELCOME
Us home-
With WIDE OPEN ARMS
He wants us
To be WHOLE again

During these Lenten days
It is TIME
To be FREE=free
From all that gets
In the way
Of our RELATIONSHIP with
God and Jesus
Today we read about
Joseph and his brothers
And all that is DRIVING THEM
In their relationship with Joseph
Jealousy=violence=dishonesty=
And unfaithful tendencies
Dear Lord=we PRAY to be
FREE from all of these=and
All that gets in the way
Of our relationship
With God=family=and TRUE friends
“........the rules of the peoples
SET HIM FREE” Psalm 105:20
Yes=we were BORN
To be free in God=
The death and resurrection
Of Jesus
ASSURED us of this
BORN TO BE FREE
IN GOD
“He upholds the
Cause of the oppressed
And gives food
To the hungry
The Lord SETS
PRISONERS FREE” Psalm 146:7
“Then you will know
The TRUTH
And the truth
Will set you FREE” John 8:32
And what sets us free
Is KNOWING
That God loves us=
And went to the CROSS
For us
And we are FREE when=
We keep the commandments=
By LOVING our God
And loving our neighbor

Do you have

There is
Only one way to overcome any fear
And that is THROUGH faith in God

A MORE POWERFUL FORCE AT WORK
I have had a SEVERE
Intestinal illness for over
Four decades now
I am TIRED of being PROBED
And tested by the disease=
And TRYING to fight it=and
Defeat it
Which CANNEVER HAPPEN
But God has brought something
GOOD=out of it
Something good in my life
Has TAKEN PLACE
A more POWERFUL work=
A more powerful FORCE in my life
Has given me
The GIFT OF GRACE
“I the LORD=
Alone probe the MIND
And test the heart.....” Jeremiah 17:10
Yes=I have learned
In my QUIET moments
In prayer
To think differently
To feel differently
God has PROBED
The INNER MOST part of myself
And has
BROUGHT something good
To my mind and my heart
“TEST me Lord
And try me
Examine my HEART
And my MIND” Psalm 26:2
“Love the Lord
Your God
With all your HEART
And with
All your soul
And with
All your MIND
And with
All your strength” Mark 12:30
Yes=there is a
MORE POWERFUL FORCE
In me than illness and disease
I am the work of GOD
I have the GRACE of God
In me=and so do YOU

By the flesh
Is death
But the MIND
Governed by the SPIRIT

And so God gave me LIFE
And GRACE=to share
HIS divine WORD
It was at the CENTER
That God was PREPARING me

I had what I needed
To battle this disease
And that is
HIS gift of GRACE
A MORE POWERFUL FORCE
At work=GRACE=

Are you a friend of God
Before you answer
Let me tell you what James, the Apostle,
And half-brother of Jesus once wrote,
“You adulterous people
Don’t you know that friendship
Towards the world
Is hatred towards God
Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world
Becomes an enemy of God” James 4:4
So
What does it mean to be a friend of the world
As opposed to God
I believe
It is simply
Putting the love of money and materialism
Over the love of God
And the love of your neighbor
Or putting our own selfish desires
Of the flesh
At the expense of God and family
Or calling ALL miracles----“medical” or scientific miracles
Or putting our own selfish addictions
Over the love of God and family
Let’s be clear
Being a friend to God
Isn’t the absence of money
The absence of our sexuality
Or the absence of medical miracles
In our lives
To be a friend to God
Just means to keep our priorities
In their proper place
ALWAYS keeping God and family
ABOVE everything else
Proverbs 17: 17 tells us,
“A friend loves at all times
And a brother is born in adversity”
So we know
That God LOVES US at all times
Even when we have turned our back on him
He is just waiting for you
Waiting for me
To ask for another chance
We KNOW
That we will get another chance
If we just SINCERELY ask
Matthew 7:7-8 says,
“Ask
And it will be given to you
Seek and you will find
Knock and the door will be opened to you
For everyone who asks---receives
He who seeks---finds
And to him who knocks
The door will be opened”
And when we get our second chance
We are to follow the commandments
And LIVE by God’s own spirit
“The fruit of the spirit is love,
Joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Gentleness, and self-control
Against such things---there is no law” Galatians 5:22-23
My friends
God is our BEST FRIEND
We just have to:
Keep our priorities straight
Follow his commandments
And do our best to live
With the qualities of GOD’S OWN SPIRIT
God is
NOT looking for perfection
Just our best effort
IF we give it
Count yourself
AS A FRIEND OF GOD

This is the GENTLE surrender
Of Jesus
Into the HANDS OF GOD
And God the Father

GOD'S HANDS=LIFT US UP

EVERY day of our lives
We just need
To commend our CARES
And our spirits
Into the Father's hands
Just the way

That doesn't mean
We haven't sinned
Or God-ACCEPTS all our actions
But it does mean-
HE LOVES YOU!

A WELL-TRUSTED MAN
A WELL-TRUSTED MAN
We don't KNOW a lot
About Saint Joseph=but we
Know that the GOSPEL
Calls him “RIGHTEOUS”
He was probably a man
Of GREAT FAITH and a
Man WELL-TRUSTED by God
If he wasn't=OUR FATHER
Would NOT have trusted
Him with the care of
THE DIVINE FAMILY
And he wouldn't have
CHANGED his mind=about
Divorcing Mary
EVEN with the appearance
Of the ANGEL
“When Joseph awoke=he did
As the angel of the Lord
Had commanded him
And took his wife
INTO HIS HOME” Matthew 1:24
Yes=Joseph was a
WELL-TRUSTED MAN by
God our FATHER
And Mary=his wife=and
His son Jesus=
They were a LOVING FAMILY
“In you-
Our ancestors-put their TRUST
They TRUSTED
And you delivered them” Psalm 22:4
“Whoever can be TRUSTED
With very little
Can also be TRUSTED
With much
And whoever is dishonest
With very little
Will be dishonest with much” Luke 16:10
And Joseph was so HONEST
And TRUSTED=
That God TRUSTED HIM
With his very own FAMILY
A man of honesty
A man of trust
“........but to show
That they can be FULLY TRUSTED
So that in every way
They will make the teaching
About our God our SAVIOR-attractive” Titus 2:10
Joseph's FAITH saw him
Through many troubles
No place for Jesus
To be BORN=
A king who wanted
To murder Jesus=
And Joesph must have
BEEN beside himself when
Jesus was MISSING for three days
But through it all=
God trusted the CARE
Of the SAVIOR of the world
To Joseph
He trusted Joseph
What a loving-CARING FATHER-
He must have been
“But if a widow
Has children or grandchildren
These should learn
First of all
To put their religion
In to practice
By CARING for
Their own FAMILY
And so repaying their parents
And grandparents
For this is=PLEASING TO GOD” 1 Timothy 5:4
Joseph=a WELL-TRUSTED MAN
And endorsed by GOD OUR FATHER

Today=March 19th-is SAINT JOSEPH'S feast day
HUMILITY LEADS TO WISDOM AND HOLINESS
HUMILITY LEADS TO WISDOM
AND HOLINESS
Have you ever knelt
Down on your knees
And pleaded to God
For something-in prayer
I get down on my knees
Several times each day
Sometimes to say thank you
And PRAISE GOD
Sometimes to PRAY
For another human being
And sometimes to PLEAD
With God
For something-I think I need
“I pleaded-and the spirit of wisdom
CAME TO ME” Wisdom 7:7
Pleading-kind of means-SURRENDERING-
And we are told
In today's world
That we are
To be in CONTROL
And that we are NOT to
Surrender to anything
I beg to differ
It is ONLY when
I got down on my knees
And SURRENDERED myself and my life
To God
That my life
BEGAN to make any sense to me
It was ONLY
At the end of myself
And the beginning of God
That life began
To make any sense to me
“The fear of the Lord
Is the beginning of WISDOM
ALL who follow
His precepts
Have good understanding
To him
Belongs eternal praise” Psalm 111:10
“When pride comes
Then comes disgrace
But with humility
COMES WISDOM” Proverbs 11:2
I mean
Which of us
Doesn't like to be in charge
Which of us
Doesn't like to be in control
Of our own lives
It takes a lot of FAITH
It takes a lot of TRUST
And it takes a lot of HUMILITY
To turn our lives
OVER to God
“Do nothing
Out of selfish ambition
Or vain conceit
Rather-IN HUMILITY-
Value others ABOVE yourselves
NOT looking
To your own interests
But each of you
To the interests of others” Philippians 2:2-4
We have to move
BEYOND-our own selfish interests
And we have to
Let go of our own ego
By losing ourselves
We find guidance
Through HOLY WISDOM and the Holy Spirit
Which leads to HOLINESS
“Make every effort
To live in peace with everyone
And try to be HOLY
Without holiness
NO ONE will see the Lord” Hebrews 12:14
How about that
So some questions remain:
Are you ready
To PLEAD for humility and HOLY WISDOM?
Are we ready
To give up CONTROL
Of our life
And hand ourselves over to God
And his HOLY WISDOM and HOLY SPIRIT?
In order
To TRULY FIND OURSELVES
For in reality
This is the only way
It can be truly done

FINDING SOME INNER PEACE
FINDING SOME INNER PEACE
Do you feel BURDENED
About what is going on
In this world?
Do public politicians upset you?
Does the news of the day
Get you fuming?
HOW can we stop the madness
And FIND some INNER PEACE
In this world?
“STOP judging=and
You will NOT
Be judged?” Luke 6:37
Try being AWARE of
Every time a negative
JUDGMENT=comes to your conscience
During the day
Try being aware of
EVERY negative judgment
That you make
Try to FIND
SOME INNER PEACE
ALL these negative judgments
WEIGH you down=
They are WEIGHING
Your soul down
They don't do you or
ANYONE any good
REPLACE judgments=with PRAYER
Perhaps “THE HAIL MARY”=
FIND SOME INNER PEACE
“Turn from evil
And do good
SEEK PEACE
And pursue it” Psalm 34:14
“A heart at PEACE
Gives life
To the body
But envy
Rots the bones” Proverbs 14:30
“I will make
A covenant of PEACE
With them
It will be
An everlasting covenant
I will establish them
And increase their numbers
And I will put my
SANCTUARY among them forever” Ezekiel 37:26
It is hard to
Stop JUDGMENTS
Going COLD TURKEY
Really TRY replacing
Your judgments
With a short prayer
Like=”I LOVE YOU LORD”
Saying PRAYERS=instead
Of making judgments
Really does HELP=
It brings
Some INNER PEACE
“Let us therefore
Make every effort
To do
What LEADS TO PEACE
And to mutual edification” Romans 14:19
“Make every effort
To LIVE IN PEACE
With everyone
And to be holy=
Without holiness
No one=will see
The Lord” Hebrews 12:14
My dear brothers and SISTERS
In Christ
TURN your judgments
INTO PRAYERS=
And it will
Lift the BURDEN
It will bring
You some INNER PEACE
In Jesus' name and in the name of our ALL MERCIFUL=all PEACEFUL LOVING FATHER

JOURNAL=THE SIMPLE TOUCH OF GOD
JOURNAL=5-18-15=THE SIMPLE TOUCH OF GOD
“Behold-the hour is coming and has ARRIVED when each of you will be SCATTERED to his own home-and you will leave me ALONE-BUT-I am NOT ALONE-because the Father is with me-I have told you this so that you might have PEACE IN ME” John 16: 32-33
DO YOU HAVE-the PRESENCE of God in your life-IF YOU DO-you are NEVER alone-you always have the FATHER-HIS SON-and their HOLY SPIRIT living within you-and you have GOD'S SPIRIT-always-IF you want him-for the FATHER doesn't say no to his children-IF it is GOOD for us
THE DISCIPLES loved Jesus-and were with him constantly-THEY saw him perform miracle after miracle-and had already seen JESUS' POWER over death in the PRESENCE of Lazarus-and in the son
of the widow Nain-yet when Jesus' time came-for suffering and death-almost ALL abandoned him-yet it really didn't matter-because Jesus' FULFILLMENT had to come over suffering and death-which had to come from HIS FATHER
IT IS the SAME for us-WE SHARE our love with our FAMILIES-and our interaction with them IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT-yet when it comes time for us to FACE our suffering-NO ONE can do it for us-but we can LEAN ON the PRESENCE OF GOD-the PRESENCE of our GODLY FATHER-as Jesus himself did-That is WHY we should always REMAIN OPEN to the PRESENCE OF GOD within us
it is a GREAT DAY to be ALIVE in GOD'S LOVE for us and a GREAT DAY to REMAIN OPEN to the SIMPLE TOUCH OF GOD
THE SIMPLE TOUCH OF GOD
The simple touch of God
Is-for me
The simple touch of God
IS-for you
WELL-The simple touch of God
IS FOREVER and for everyone
That is
What happened to me
God has TOUCHED me
God has touched my heart
And he has
NEVER let me go
TOUCH me heart
Touch my soul
Touch me
TOUCH US FOREVER MORE
2,000 years ago
After Jesus Resurrected
He appeared to his disciples and said:
“PEACE be with you……..
Why are you SO TROUBLED?
HOPE ENDS IN FRUITION
And WHY do doubts
RISE in your minds……..
LOOK at my hands and my feet
It is I myself
TOUCH me and see
A ghost
DOES NOT have flesh and bones
As you see I have” Luke 24:36-39
And today
MANY OF US are troubled
About any of an assortment
Of things
That this life can bring us
WE need
To reach out and TOUCH GOD
We need
To reach out
And TOUCH Jesus
And not be afraid
The simple
TOUCH OF GOD
Makes all the difference
In this world
“God is our refuge
And strength
An ever-present HELP in trouble” Psalm 46:1
The simple touch of God
CALMS our hearts
“AND ALL
Who TOUCHED him
Were healed” Matthew 14:36
THE SIMPLE
Touch of God
The simple
TOUCH OF CHRIST
Dear Lord
We pray
You-OUR ever present HELP
In times of trouble
REPLACE our coldness, our indifference
OUR ingratitude
WITH your courage
AND INFINITE LOVE FOR ALL
REPLACE our indifference
With COMPASSION for others
TOUCH our minds
With your wisdom
And wherever and whatever
We are lacking
REPLACE IT
With
THE SIMPLE TOUCH OF GOD
So that
We can carry to others
THE SIMPLE TOUCH OF GOD
