ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL


Today LENT begins=the FORTY
Days prior to EASTER


Do you ever wonder what
The LORD will repay you with
For what you will do
For him this Lent?


I honestly don't=but we need
To OBSERVE LENT=we can
NEVER do enough for God


We don't have to=but
We SHOULD do what
We can=in observance
To show OUR LOVE for God


This particular time of year
LIKE NO OTHER


“Your Father
Who sees what is HIDDEN
Will repay you” Matthew 6:18


We are in need of God=
He has ALREADY given
Us everything=the chance=
The OPPORTUNITY for ETERNAL LIFE


During Lent=we BRING to God
If at no other time
Prayer=fasting=and ALMSGIVING


They deepen our SELF-awareness
And they DEEPEN our own awareness
Of what God=of what JESUS
Has already done for us


“When Moses came down
From Mount Sinai
With two tablets
Of the covenant law
In his hand


He was NOT AWARE
That his face
Was radiant because he had
SPOKEN with the Lord” Exodus 34:29


“The master of the servant
Will come on a day


When he
Does not expect him
And at an hour
He is not AWARE OF” Matthew 24:50
and Luke 12:46


Yes=works of charity=
And DEVOTION to God and Jesus
This Lent=
Will help RENEW our spirits


But when the Father=
Our FATHER=looks at us
What he will see
Are our DEEPEST NEEDS


Our deepest needs
That may be HIDDEN
Even from ourselves


And the Father does
REPAY us according to
What we need


ACCORDING TO HIS WILL
For our needs


“I desire
To do your WILL
My God


Your law
Is WITHIN my heart” Psalm 40:8


“For I have not hesitated
To proclaim to you
The whole WILL OF GOD” Acts 20:27


“Do not conform
To the pattern
Of this world


But be transformed
By the renewing
Of your mind


Then you will be able
To test and approve
What GOD'S WILL IS--------


His good-pleasing
And PERFECT WILL” Romans 12:2


Dear Lord=this LENT
We commend our lives
And our SPIRITS
To you


To use
ACCORDING TO YOUR WILL


In Jesus' name and in the name of our EVER PLEASING FATHER
