GUIDING OTHERS!

GUIDING OTHERS!


There is an old ADAGE=
Can the BLIND
Lead the blind?


The physically blind
CAN LEAD US=but
Those spiritually blind
I DON'T think so


The BLIND=a blind person-
Can DO it all=sing-
Read music-even READ


But those of us
SPIRITUALLY BLIND cannot lead=
ONLY follow the right people
If they so qualify


“Can a BLIND PERSON
GUIDE a blind person?” Luke 6:39


The blind= some blind people
Are extremely INTELLIGENT people=
And they can guide others


But all of us CHRISTIANS=
Should LEAD others to God
Should lead others to CHRIST


We should be
GUIDING OTHERS


“GUIDE me
In your truth
And teach me


For you are God
My Savior


And my HOPE
Is in you
All day long” Psalm 25:5


“When you walk
They will GUIDE you
When you sleep


They will
Watch over you
When you awake
They will speak to you” Proverbs 6:22


YES=a blind person
REALLY can lead others
Really can GUIDE others
Those of us
With poor insight


The student is
NOT ABOVE the teacher
And those of us
Who are students
Should continue to FOLLOW
Jesus=OUR MASTER


Some of us
Have 20/20 insight
At seeing others' MINOR FAULTS
But we refuse to see
Our own more SERIOUS FAULTS


We NEED to follow our
LORD and leader Jesus=he
Is the GUIDE of our lives
And our MASTER TEACHER


We need to follow
The teacher
And his INSIGHTS


“I have more INSIGHT
Than all my teachers


For I meditate
On your statutes” Psalm 119:99


And that is WHO
Jesus was=having more
INSIGHT than all
The taught-trained teachers COMBINED


And that sometimes
IS who the blind are
PHYSICALLY BLIND=
But having more insight
Than all of us
WHO CAN SEE


“Reflect on
WHAT I am saying


For the Lord
Will give you INSIGHT
Into all this” 2 Timothy 2:7


Dear Lord=PLEASE HEAL those
Of us with BLINDNESS of the eyes
And those of us=with
BLINDNESS OF THE HEART


And help us LOOK to others
Who have the SPIRITUAL INSIGHT
To GUIDE and lead us


In Jesus' name and in the name of our ALL SEEING FATHER=who has PERFECT VISION
