JOURNAL-GOD IS EVERYWHERE




“WHEN it was evening-after sunset-THEY brought to him ALL who were ill or POSSESSED by demons-THE WHOLE TOWN gathered at the door” Mark 1:32-33


WHEN you LOVE someone-GREATER than yourself-you emphasize THEIR NEEDS-before your own-NO ONE knew or KNOWS this better than Jesus-or GOD HIMSELF-Jesus didn't turn away people who needed HIS HEALING TOUCH-and NEITHER are we turn away people in need-JESUS always REMAINED fully PRESENT to others as long as NECESSARY-and that is what we are to do for others too-IF we really BELIEVE IN GOD


CONVENIENCE is NOT an attribute of GOD'S LOVE for us-and IF we truly love others-our own convenience is NOT an issue-DEAR LORD-we PRAY that we are PRESENT for others-as GOD and JESUS always are there for us


it is A GREAT DAY to be ALIVE in GOD'S LOVE for us-and a GREAT DAY to put the NEEDS of others ABOVE our very own








GOD IS EVERYWHERE




Growing up
As a little boy
In Catholic school
We were taught
God is everywhere


And I TRULY believed that
As I believe it
Even still today


There is nowhere
We can go
To hide from God


“Come my people
Enter thou into thy chambers
And shut the doors
About thee


HIDE thyself
As it were
For a little moment
Until the indignation
Be passed” Isaiah 26:20


But there
Is NOWHERE to hide
From God
NOT even under the bed
As I thought I could
When I
Was a little boy


For God is
GOD IS EVERYWHERE


But we shouldn't worry
Because he FORGIVES us
For everything anyway
If we just
But SINCERELY ASK


And when we do good
And give God
The glory
He is
SO PROUD of us


“BLESSED are they
Who have learned
To acclaim you


Who walk in the light
Of your presence
Oh Lord” Psalm 89:15


After the Resurrection
Jesus appeared
At the Sea of Tiberias
To Peter, John, Thomas
And some other disciples


When they recognized it was THE LORD
Peter could not wait
To be in HIS PRESENCE


So Peter,


“Wrapped his outer garment
Around him
And jumped into the water
And the other disciples followed
In the boat” John 21:7


For they could NOT WAIT
To be in the PRESENCE of the Lord
Once again


And they had a GREAT MIRACLE
Of catching 153 KINDS of large fish
AFTER the Lord appeared


FOR GOD is everywhere


But we today
Are the ones
Who are really BLESSED
For he is with us
At all times


All we have to do
Is to REMEMBER
To make a little time and space
In our lives
To be with him


For he told us:


“SURELY
I am with you ALWAYS
To the very end
Of time” Matthew 28:20


Dear Lord-WE PRAY
Fill our hearts with yearning
To be in your presence


For we know God


YOU ARE EVERYWHERE
