LOVE IS THE POWER!

LOVE IS THE POWER


LOVE is the STRONGEST POWER
In the world=it CHANGED
The world once=and I BELIEVE
It can CHANGE the world again


But it is NOT EASY=and it is
An awful of of work=love means
FORGIVING=it means overlooking faults=
And SOMETIMES it even means
LOVING OUR ENEMIES


“But I say to you=LOVE your enemies
And PRAY for those
Who persecute you...............” Matthew 5:44


Are you SERIOUS Lord?=I can think
Of people who TURN their heads at me=
Who scoff at me=who I can BARELY
Get a HELLO from


But=LOVE is the POWER=
I know that=you PROVED IT=
You CONQUERED your enemies
By LOVING even in death=
Humiliation=and torture


The LEAST that we can do=is EMULATE
YOU=and LOVE all those you put
In our path=through LIFE


For LOVE IS INDEED THE POWER


“ONE thing God has spoken
Two things I have heard
'POWER belongs to you=God=
And with you=Lord=
Is UNFAILING LOVE'” Psalm 62:11


“The TONGUE has the power
Of LIFE and death


And those who love it
Will eat its fruit” Proverbs 18:21


“Jesus replied='You are in ERROR
Because you do NOT KNOW
The SCRIPTURES
Or the POWER OF GOD'” Matthew 22:29


We KNOW Lord that you
Have the POWER OF LOVE


That you know the Scriptures
That you ARE the Scriptures
That you LOVE EVERYONE


But asking us to love
OUR ENEMIES are tall orders


Are we to love terrorist bombers=
Child molesters=murderers=corrupt politicians=
And on and on and on


WHY MUST we love them?
Sometimes=it is DIFFICULT enough
To love those that we are CLOSE to


Yet you PROVED to us=love in all
WAYS=in all circumstances=CHANGES
THE WORLD


We UNDERSTAND that love is WORK=that love=
Is COMPLICATED=and love comes with a
LOT of emotional baggage


HELP US to truly love
Our enemies=and PRAY for them=
Even though we don't CONDONE
Their ways


You told us that GOD'S WAYS are
NOT the way of humans=and now
I understand


LOVE is the FOUNDATION on which
Christianity was BUILT
Love is the POWER
And it is UNFAILING


LOVE IS THE POWER
Love is the CORNERSTONE
Love is the FOUNDATION


“The rain came down=
The streams rose
And the wind blew=
And BEAT against that house


Yet it did NOT FALL
Because it had its FOUNDATION
On the ROCK” Matthew 7:25


LOVE IS ROCK=You are rock=
You are the FOUNDATION


I give myself to your
UNFAILING LOVE=and even
PRAY FOR MY ENEMIES


In Jesus' name and in the name of OUR HEAVENLY FATHER
