GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS

(The GREATEST Word is LOVE)           

 

Today we read=what are PROBABLY the greatest WORDS in

The HISTORY=of the world=what ESSENTIALLY SAYS=Put God

ABOVE ALL THINGS=Do NOT have any false gods or things=

ABOVE HIM=”You shall LOVE Your God=with ALL your heart=with

All your soul=with all your MIND=and with all your strength”                                               Mark 12:30

 

Yes=the GREATEST WORDS=in the HISTORY of the universe=are

LOVING GOD and loving all others=even NOW in the 21^st century=

PUT GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS!=Yes=our God of LOVE=should be

GREATER than anything else=IN OUR HEARTS=I BELIEVE LOVE=

Can change this world=”The SECOND is this=’LOVE your neighbor

As yourself’=there is NO commandment=greater than these”                                     Mark 12:31

 

“My command is this=LOVE each other=as I have loved you=

GREATER LOVE=has no one than this=To LAY down one’s life

FOR ONE’S FRIENDS”                                                                                                                              John 15:12-13

 

“Now eagerly=desire the GREATER GIFTS”                                                                          1 Corinthians 12:31

 

THE FIRST and second commandments of LOVE=challenge us

To EXAMINE our conscience=It challenges us to=ASK ourselves

The question=AM I truly=PUTTING God ABOVE ALL THINGS?=Am I

Putting LOVE of God=and love of others=ABOVE love of  science=

Love of money=and love of sex?

 

ABOVE pornography=Above alcohol=above drugs=ABOVE television

And computer=Am I loving others =ABOVE these things too?=Put

GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS!=Do we TRULY love God=with all of our

Might=and PUT GOD=above everything else in our LIFE?

 

Do I have any false idols?=Is there anything COMING IN BETWEEN

God and me?=God must be GREATER=than our LOVE of anything else

IN OUR LIFE=”He regarded disgrace=for the sake of Christ=as a GREATER

VALUE=than the treasures of Egypt=Because he was looking ahead to

His reward”                                                                                                                                                  Hebrews 11:26

 

“If our hearts=condemn us=We know that God is GREATER=than our hearts=

And he knows everything”                                                                                                                       1 John 3:20

 

“You dear children=are from God=and have overcome them=Because

The ONE=who is in you=IS GREATER=than the one=who is in this world”                       1 John 4:4

 

Yes=if God is=if Jesus is=IF LOVE IS=GREATER IN YOU=than the world is=

You are=PUTTING GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS!=You are not worshipping false

Idols=You are=Putting God in your HEART=above the world=The HOLY FATHER

God and Jesus=are GREATER in you than anything else

 

We need to PERSEVERE=in=and OVER the trials of our life=in this world=We

NEED to keep=LOVE of God and OTHERS=ABOVE all other things=God ABOVE
ALL THINGS= Putting God FIRST!

 

“This is what the Lord says’=’--------Israel’s King and Redeemer=the

Lord Almighty=I AM THE FIRST=and I am the last=apart from me=there is

No God’”                                                                                                                                                             Isaiah 44:6

 

PUTTING GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS=because OUR HOLY FATHER GOD

And Jesus=are GREATER than anything else=that EXISTS in this world

 

DEAR GOD OF LOVE=we pray for YOUR LOVE=for YOUR words of love=to

LIVE in every part of us=of ME=for we TRULY love you and others=ABOVE

OUR VERY SELVES=GOD=ABOVE ALL THINGS!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=forever LIVING=Holy

Father God=whose love=LIVES WITHIN US
