WHAT GREAT PLAN=HAS GOD IN MIND=

FOR YOU

 

Our Holy Father God=THE FATHER=and his Son=have a PLAN=for everyone=

Of their BELIEVERS=in this world=A plan for YOUR LIFE=a plan for each ONE

Of us=”It really=Was for the sake=OF SAVING LIVES=That God sent me ahead

Of you”                                                                                                                                                    Genesis 45:5

 

We all LOVE=a Hollywood HAPPY ENDING=Where the hero=or heroine=FACE

Setback after setback=Or one tragedy and disaster after another=ONLY to have it

WORK OUT=for the good of them=or maybe even=For the GOOD=of all mankind=

Especially like the ONE=In the story of=THE RESURRECTED CHRIST=Or maybe like

 

A Beleaguered Doctor=Who after working shift after shift=STOPS by the side of the

Road to help out=ONLY to find out=It is his own child=son or daughter=WHO NEEDS THE

HELP=WE all love A HAPPY ENDING

“Teach me Lord=The way of your decrees=That I may follow it=TO THE END”          Psalm 119:33

“You will be hated by everyone=Because of me=But the one=who stands firm=

TO THE END=will be saved”                                                                                                             Matthew 10:22

“THEN THE END=will come=When he hands over the kingdom=To God the Father=

After he has=Destroyed all dominion-authority-and power”                                          1 Corinthians 15:24

 

WHAT GREAT PLAN=Does God=have for you and me=In the coming of his Kingdom?=

Rest assured=it is something GOOD=something HAPPY=If you are a BELIEVER

In the Holy Father God=and his SON=Jesus Christ

 

Today’s first reading=is a PRIME EXAMPLE=of a HOLLYWOOD STORY=and a

Happy Ending=Joseph’s brothers sell him=Into slavery=Years later=HE SAVES THEM=

From starvation=during a famine=What makes it GREAT=is that

 

Despite all the disaster and tragedy=JOSEPH always knows=God has a PLAN=for him

And his life=Do you know that?=Do I know that?=Joseph knew=and Jesus KNEW=

All along=EXACTLY who he was=and that God had a PLAN for his life=Maybe even

A HOLLYWOOD=happy ending

“But may the righteous=be glad=And rejoice before God==May they BE HAPPY=

And joyful”                                                                                                                                                       Psalm 68:3

“A HAPPY HEART=Makes the face cheerful=but heartache crushes the spirit”            Proverbs 15:13

“Is anyone among you=In trouble?=Let them pray=IS ANYONE HAPPY?=Let them

Sing songs of praise?”                                                                                                                               James 5:13

 

GOD has a PLAN=for the UNIVERSE=Through his Son Jesus=and he had a GREAT PLAN=

For Joseph=who rose from a mere slave==to BEING PHARAOH’S most TRUSTED ADVISOR=

In all of Egypt=and this ENABLED HIM=to save his Father=and his family

WHAT GREAT PLAN=does God have=for you and me?=Maybe a HAPPY ENDING for us all=

Maybe a Hollywood ending

 

Dear Lord=We your ADOPTED sons and daughters=and brothers and sisters=of the

LORD Jesus=PUT all of our TRUST in you

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of HIS Holy Father God!
