THE LONG RUN=FOR US ALL!

 

THE EALES=were a HOT American band=at least several decades ago=They

Were ARGUABLY=the BEST AMERICAN BAND=of all time=They had a HIT

Album=and a hit song=Of the  same name=THE LONG RUN

 

And this is HOW=the dictionary defines=The Long Run=”A LONG period of

TIME=after the BEGINNING of something”=And isn’t that=MY DEAR BROTHERS=

And sisters=the  way=That it is=After we COMMIT OURSELVES=to loving our God=and to=

LOVING ALL OTHERS=It is going on 49 years=Since I committed MY SOUL=to

THE HOLY Father  God=and hos SON=and that seems like=A LONG TIME=even though

It was  ONLY YESTERDAY=In God’s timing=LOVING GOD=Loving Others=LONG MAY

YOU RUN!

“Elijah went before the people=and said’=’HOW LONG=will you waver=Between

Two opinions?=If the Lord is God=Follow him=But if Baal is God=Follow him’”   1 Kings:18-21

“AS LONG=as it is day=We must do the works of him=Who sent me=Night is coming=

When no one can work=While I am in the world=I am the LIGHT=of the world”   John 9:4-5

“And I pray=That you being rooted=and established in love=MAY have power=Together

With all=The Lord’s Holy people=to grasp how wide=And LONG=and high and deep=is the

LOVE of Christ”                                                                                                                                Ephesians 3:17-18

 

I do NOT KNOW=how LONG you have lived=Or have been committed=To the Holy Father

God and=Jesus Christ his Son=but for me=It is going on 71 years=49 years of

STRONG FAITH-hope and love=MY RESOLVE is strong=and I am sure=Yours is too=

For it is=OUR FAITH IS=the LONG RUN=FOR US ALL!

 

A lifetime that=has Brought me=THROUGH many tests=SEVEN major operations=a

PROSTATE cancer survival=Continuing financial tests=and always TESTED in relationships=

And I am sure you all=HAVE PASSED=quite a Number of tests of your own=But it is=

THE LONG RUN=a LONG RACE=In which we FIND OUT=Exactly what we are made of=

Hold on=Grab on to your chin guards=for it is a  LONG BUMPY RIDE

 

“They will soar=On wings like EAGLES=They will RUN and  Not grow weary=They will

Walk and=Not be faint”                                                                                                                     Isaiah  40:31

“Do you not know=That in a race=all the runners RUN=But only one gets

The prize?”                                                                                                                                                 1 Corinthians 9:24

“Therefore since we are surrounded=By such a great cloud of witnesses=Let us

Throw off everything=That hinders  and the sin=that so easily entangles=AND LET US

RUN with perseverance=the race marked out for us=Fixing our eyes on Jesus”       Hebrews 12:1-2

 

My dear sisters and brothers=MY LIFE=has been marked  with tests =as yours has been too=

But we are=IN A MARATHON=to the ONE Holy Father God=OUR SOULS=are in it=FOR THE

LONG RUN=With the Holy Father God=and Jesus=to  STAY TRUE to love=”A LONGING FULFILLED-

Is sweet to the SOUL=But fools detest=Turning from evil”                                             Proverbs 13:19

Dear SISTERS and Brothers=Your RELATIONSHIP=with God and Jesus=is a MARATHON

Race for LOVE=To Love the Lord=and to LOVE all others=It is the LONG RUN=for us all=

LONG MAY YOU RUN=In Jesus’ name!
