WITNESS

GONE FISHING

I sin

You sin

We all sin naturally

It comes to us naturally

Because we are descendants

Of Adam and Eve

Once Eve

Listened to the serpent

Over God

And Adam listened to Eve

Sin was alive in our world

Jesus died for our sins

And put them away

Once and for all

Sin is following

Our natural sinful selves

Sin is anything and everything

We put above God

But Christ was perfect

He lived a perfect

Supernatural life

He followed the WORDS of GOD---

The WORDS of the SPIRIT---the WORDS of LIFE

He took our sins

Down to the end of the road

And threw them

Into the bottom of the lake

Then he posted a sign that said

No fishing

Don’t you think it is about time

We put our poles away

The sign reads

NO FISHING
