THE FINDING OF A LITTLE BOY (
WHERE DO YOU FIND JESUS )
Picture this
You are a Mother
With a 12 year-old son
You have a loving husband
A great deal older
Than yourself
But a loving husband
None the less
You and your husband
Take your son
To town
You have a wonderful family time
About ½ way home
You panic
You and your husband
Realize your son, Jesus,
Is not with you
You call
All the rest
Of your family and friends
That were with you
None of them know
Where your Jesus is
Your panic
Grows even greater
You pray Dear Lord
Please let him be alright
Please let nothing
To have happened to him
You drive
Back to town
You find him in church
Preaching the Word of God
Mind you
This is your 12-year-old son
You scold him
You say
Didn’t you know
We would worry about you
He looks at you in bewilderment
And says,
“Why did you
Have to look at me
Didn’t you know
That I had to be
In my Father’s house”
Where do you find Jesus
In the course
Of your day
Perhaps in your car
On your way to work
Perhaps in your young children
During the course
Of your day
Whatever you do---
Or wherever you go
During the course of your day
I suggest
You need look no further
Than inside
Of your own heart
Jesus---God
Lives inside of you
He lives in you
When you give
A kind smile
To another human being
He lives in you
When you have
A listening ear
For another human being
Where do you find Jesus
I suggest
You look inside of
your own heart
He lives in you
