HOW DO WE KNOW GOD
In psalm 27:1
The psalmist uses three terms
To REFER to God
“The Lord is my LIGHT
And SALVATION
Whom should I fear
The Lord is
MY LIFE’S REFUGE
Of whom
Shall I be afraid”
We ALL have problems
In this life
Problems of physical-emotional
And spiritual degrees
Yet we KNOW
That the Lord
IS OUR LIGHT
“God is LIGHT
IN HIM
There is NO darkness at all
IF we
Claim to have fellowship with him
Yet WALK in darkness
We lie
And do not live
BY THE TRUTH” 1 John 1:5-6
GOD IS OUR LIGHT
In the pitch black darkness
OF OUR LIVES
One cannot save himself
ONLY GOD CAN SAVE
God is our salvation
HE is our deliverer
Again
ONE cannot save himself
ONLY GOD SAVES
“IT IS I
Speaking in righteousness
MIGHTY to SAVE”
Isaiah 63:1
HOW DO WE KNOW GOD
He is OUR REFUGE
He is OUR safety net
He catches us
WHEN we fall
He is WHO
He is WHERE
We can look
FOR PROTECTION
“God is OUR REFUGE
An EVER-PRESENT HELP in trouble” Psalm 46:1
“I will say of the Lord
‘HE is my REFUGE and my fortress
MY GOD-in WHOM I TRUST” Psalm
91:2
HOW do we KNOW GOD
He is MY LIGHT
He is MY SALVATION
He is MY REFUGE
IN TIMES of trouble
He is
The UNPARALLELLED power
He is THE ROCK-the lighthouse
Who keeps me
WHO KEEPS ME SAFE
