ABBA FATHER

WITNESS 6-16-13 ABBA FATHER---HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! Throughout Jesus’ life He kept an open running dialogue With God, his Father There was NEVER a time That they weren’t connected We all Have had earthly fathers Some good---some bad Some of us still connected with them Some not Some alive---some dead But ultimately We ALL come from the same father The Father of Jesus The Father of us too THE GOD OF LOVE “For you did not receive A spirit that makes you a slave again To fear But you received the Spirit of Son ship And by him we cry “ABBA FATHER” Romans 8: 15 & 16 The spirit himself Testifies with our spirit That we are God’s Children But what does it mean To be a Child of God In today’s world It means That though we may disappoint God That though we may let him down He is always Going to continue to love us Like most earthly parents do For their children Or at least--- Try to do “Because you are Sons God sent the Spirit of his Son Into our hearts The spirit who calls out, “Abba Father” You are no longer a slave But a Son And since you are a Son ( and Daughter ) God had made you an heir” Galatians 4:6-7 Can you imagine We are heirs Heirs to an unconditional love A love that we can never lose Heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven Heirs for eternity---Heirs to God---The King of Love So today As we honor our earthly fathers Let us also Honor our Godly Father We thank you For loving us We thank you For calling us your children ABBA FATHER!
