ARE YOU IN THE WORD?

JOURNAL/ARE YOU IN THE WORD “BEHOLD-I have given you the POWER-'to tread upon serpents' and scorpions and upon the FULL FORCE of the enemy and nothing will harm you” Luke10:19 DO YOU sometimes feel that the problems of our world are overwhelming-I KNOW that I do-that sometimes we can't do anything EVEN in our own corner of the world-EVIL IS REAL BUT GOD gives us weapons to USE FOR GOOD-HE gives us the GRACE TO LOVE-to express gratitude-and to smile-AND most of all he gives us THE GOOD BOOK-his very own WORD-to assist us Dear Lord-like Saint Francis of Assisi whose feast it is today-may you ask him to MENTOR us in USING the WORD OF GOD as WEAPONS OF LIGHT in today's world it is A GREAT DAY to be ALIVE in GOD'S never ending-ever lasting love for us WITNESS 7-26-13 ARE YOU IN THE WORD? Have you hungered For the word of God To live inside of you Many times I have said to someone Or they have said to me, “ARE YOU IN THE WORD?” The word of God Will never Magically appear Inside of you But if you Takes 5 minutes a day And read THE WORD OF GOD God’s word Will live inside of you—IN TIME What is God’s word GOD’S WORD Is the power of creation Simply put It is the sustaining of life Living inside of you It is also Our tool against Satan Against the forces of darkness Living in the world When the devil Tempted Jesus in the desert Jesus answered, “It is written “Man does not live on bread alone But on every word That comes from The mouth of God” Matthew 4:4 Are you in the word Granted If you have Never picked up a Bible The process can be overwhelming Just pick up the Bible And start reading About a subject that interests you And soon You will be saying To your friends: “ARE YOU IN THE WORD?” Robert P.
