DECISIONS Each and every day Of our lives We ALL have many decisions To make Decisions that REFLECT Our very beliefs Decisions that affect The very HEART and SOUL Of who we are I ENCOURAGE you To choose life and decisions That reflect life In EVERY area of your life If you can “LET your 'yes' mean 'yes' and your 'no' mean 'no'” Matthew 5:37 Many years ago I was in a bed That it looked like I would never leave I PRAYED to God FOR LIFE If it be GOD'S own will “To LIVE for my family-my friends-and For all people everywhere” While at times Life has been a very difficult struggle I am not sorry For one moment Of my life God has HEAPED BLESSING after blessing Upon me Through my family experiences Through my friendship experiences And through my experiences with HIM And the churches he has put me In contact with SAY YES to life CHOOSE LIFE Our God is the God Of the LIVING/ Not the dead “You make KNOWN to me The PATH OF LIFE You will fill me With joy In your PRESENCE With eternal pleasures At your right hand” Psalm 16:11 “For those who find me FIND LIFE And receive favor From the Lord” Proverbs 8:35 The Lord KNOWS We face a ton of decisions In this life And many of them Are very difficult Choosing life- Doesn't always mean answering yes To every question But we are CALLED To align our decisions With the WILL OF GOD And while GOD'S WILL For our life Is not always easy To understand We can always do our BEST To reflect our FAITH And the VALUES of God's own SON Jesus lived a life FULL OF LOVE- A life full of kindness And a life full of forgiveness He CHOSE LIFE- And his life GOES ON FOREVER And that is what OUR decisions should do Is make CHOICES That reflect the values of Jesus “This day I call the heavens And the earth As witnesses against you That I have set before you- LIFE and death- BLESSINGS and curses Now choose life So that you And your children may LIVE And that you may LOVE The Lord Your God Listen to his voice And HOLD fast to him” Deuteronomy 30:19-20 Dear Lord-may our decisions- ALWAYS REFLECT your values OF LIFE AND LOVE Robert P.
