AS APPRECIATIVE AS EVER=

(For THE WORD OF GOD)

 

WE live in a world=That ATTEMPTS to EXCLUDE

This group=or that group=for the BENEFITS

Of this life

 

But our GOD=does NOT WORK=that way=OUR GOD

Our Jesus=attempts to=INCLUDE EVERYONE=we need

LOOK NO FURTHER=than Jesus’ words=and we

Look no further=Than the GOSPEL OF LUKE=specifically

Chapters 10 and 15

 

A S APPRECIATIVE AS EVER=for the WORD of God

Today=and FOREVER MORE

 

“How can a young person=stay on the path=of purity?=

By living=ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD”                                                                                       Psalm 119:9

 

“I have=HIDDEN YOUR WORD=in my heart=that I

Might not sin=Against you”                                                                                                                     Psalm 119:11

 

“Heaven and earth=will pass away=BUT MY WORDS=

Will never pass away”                                                                                                                  Matthew 24:35

 

Jesus tells us=to LOVE the Holy Father God=with our

Whole heart=whole mind=and whole soul=and he also

TELLS US=to LOVE our neighbor as ourself=and IN chapter ten=

Of Saint Luke’s gospel=he SPECIFICALLY tells us=That

OUE NEIGHBOR=is every other person=IN THIS WORLD

 

“Jesus said in reply’=’But a SAMARITAN=as he traveled=came

Where a man was=and when he saw him=HE TOOK PITY

On him=He went to him=

 

And BANDAGED his wounds=pouring on oil and wine=Then

He put the man=on his own donkey=brought him to an inn=and

TOOK CARE OF HIM’”                                                                                                                              Luke 10:33-34

 

Jesus goes on=to tell us=that THE NEIGHBOR=was the man

Who took MERCY on him

 

MY FRIENDS=my brothers and sisters=WE LIVE in a hateful

World=a hateful country=WHERE NOBODY CARES about

Anybody else

 

UNTIL=we get back to=APPRECIATING GOD’S WORD=and

LOVING EACH OTHER=having a world=BUILT ON INCLUSIVE LOVE=

NOT exclusivity=we are DESTINED TO FAIL

 

Dear friends=I am=AS APPRECIATIVE AS EVER=for the WORD

OF God=and his love=The BAD NEWS is=we have gotten

It wrong thus far=but the GOOD NEWS=is=that we have

 

The TIME=to get it right=As Jesus tells us=IN CHAPTER 15

Of Saint Luke’s gospel=for we worship=A MERCIFUL GOD

 

For God=STILL VALUES US=like the ONE lost sheep=the one

Lost coin=and the ONE lost Son=IN SEARCH=of his loving

Father

 

“But the Father=said to his servants’=’Bring the best robe=and put

It on him=Put a ring on his finger=and sandals=on his feet=Bring

The fattened calf=and kill it=Let’s have a feast

 

And celebration=for this SON=of mine was dead=and

IS ALIVE AGAIN=He was lost and is found=so they BEGAN

TO CELEBRATE”                                                                                                                                                Luke 15:22-24

 

MY FRIENDS=we have it all wrong=we are excluding=

NOT INCLUDING=LOVE EVERYONE=LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR!=

He/she is EVERYONE OF US

 

And=IF YOU have gotten it wrong=Just bring yourself

BACK to Jesus=and the Holy Father God=They are just

WAITING for you=and are READY TO CELEBRATE=with you

 

Be=AS APPRECIATIVE=FOR THE WORD OF GOD=as ever

I am!==In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING

FOREVER LIVING=forever WELCOMING=Holy Father God!
