FOLLOWING=NOT APPLAUDING

 

It is GREAT=to be AN ADMIRER=of Jesus=

I sure am!=for ALL he has done for ME/US=He

Has OPENED=the gates of heaven for us=with

HIS PERFECT LOVE

 

But we have to BE MORE=than just admirers=we have to

Be more than an applauders=We have to become

TRUE FOLLOWERS=of his perfect love=and TRY to

LIVE in perfect love too=BEING MORE THA N APPLAUDERS

FOLLOWING=NOT JUST APPLAUDING!

 

“…….You are looking for me=NOT because you saw

SIGNS=but because you ate the loaves=and were FILLED”                                             John 6:26

 

The Lord=our Holy Father God=and his SON=Jesus Christ

ALWAYS know=our motivations=in doing things=ARE we

Doing it for ourselves=to attain glory?=Or are we doing it=

Because=WE LOVE=the Lord=with our WHOLE HEART

And soul=and OUR NEIGHBORS as ourselves?=NOT

For ourselves=but because we are=FOLLOWERS=of

The Lord=NOT JUST APPLAUDERS!

 

Many of us today=are just applauders too=Of Jesus

And our Holy Father God=jut like MANY of the 5,000

Were=at the MIRACLE of=the loaves and the fishes

 

But are we FOLLOWING=Jesus’ TEACHINGS=on love

On forgiveness=On the beatitudes?=WE have to be

TRUE FOLLOWERS of Jesus=Not just applauders!

 

“DO NOT FOLLOW=the crowd=in doing wrong=When

You give testimony=in a lawsuit=do not pervert justice=

By siding with the crowd…….”                                                                                                  Exodus 23:2

 

“Surely=your goodness=and love=WILL FOLLOW ME=

All the days of my life=and I will dwell in=the house

Of the Lord=FOREVER”                                                                                                                   Psalm 23:6

 

“Then=Jesus said to his disciples’=’Whoever wants

To be my disciple=Must deny themselves=and take up

Their cross=and FOLLOW ME’”                                                                                              Matthew 10:24

 

It is GREAT=to be an applauder=of our Jesus=it

IS GREAT=to appreciate him=but that in itself=is

NOT ENOUGH=WE need to FOLLOW our Holy Father

God and Jesus=and their EXAMPLE OF LOVE

 

TRYING to live like God=and Jesus=as BEST as we can

LOVING GOD=LOVING OTHERS=Forgiving others=and

Trying to LIVE those BEATITUDES OF Jesus=from the

SERMON ON THE MOUNT

 

We have to do this=to be a 21^st CENTURY apostle and disciple

Of Jesus=and our Holy Father God=Not just applauders=but

FOLLOWERS TOO=to be FULFILLED

 

“When he has brought out=all his own=He goes on

Ahead of them=and his sheep=FOLLOW HIM=because

They know his voice”                                                                                                                           John 10:4

 

“FOLLOW the way of love=and eagerly desire gifts=of

The Spirit=especially prophecy”                                                                                                      1 Corinthians 14:1

 

“FOLLOW GOD’S EXAMPLE=therefore as dearly loved

Children=and walk in=the way of LOVE=just as Christ=

Loved us=and gave himself up for us=as a fragrant offering

And sacrifice to God”                                                                                                                        Ephesians 5:1-2

 

We just can’t say=God and Jesus=”GIVE US this and that”=

We have to pick up=OUR DAILY CROSSES and come and

FOLLOW THEM=Following Jesus our Lord

 

ACCEPT the cross of LOVE=FORGIVENESS=but

LIVE IT TOO=Be a FOLLOWER=NOT JUST APPLAUDER!=and

You will FIND your way=to EVERLASTING LIFE=in the LORD

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LOVING=forever living

FOREVER VICTORIOUS=Holy Father God!
