HE SHOWED US!

 

HE SHOWED US!=

(Physically=Spiritually=and Emotionally)                                                                                                         

 

My dear friends=My dear brothers and sisters=

JESUS SHOWED US!=His PRESENCE

by His physical wounds=and HE SHOWS US!=

 

HIS PRESENCE=by being with us=EVERY DAY

Of our lives=He is with us Physically=He is with us

Spiritually=and he is with us emotionally=NO MATTER

What we are facing=HE WALKS OUR WALK=with us

In every way=HE SHOWS US!

 

“LOOK at my hands and my feet=that it is I MYSELF=

TOUCH ME=and see=Because a ghost does not have=

Flesh and bones=as you can see I have”                                                                                  Luke 24:39

 

After the Resurrection=Jesus was LOOKING for a

TANGIBLE WAY=to GIVE his frightened disciples=that

He indeed was RISEN=from the dead=HE SHOWS US!

He shows the disciples=PHYSICAL EVIDENCE=of his presence

 

And he shows us=SPIRITUALLY AND EMOTIONALLY-every day

Of our lives=That he is indeed EVER-PRESENT with us=

He showed the disciples=HE SHOWS US!

 

“This is how God=SHOWED HIS LOVE=among us=

He sent his one and ONLY Son=into the world=

That we might=LIVE through him”                                                                                         1 John 4:9

 

So many of us=are looking for EVEIDENCE=and proof

That the Resurrection=really happened=It did=I KNOW IT

I feel it=in my heart=He looks to us=HE SHOWS US!

 

The disciples=including us=Have already heard

The story=of the two travelers=on the way to Emmaus=

Now he STANDS before them=before us=SHOWING US=

His wounds=He shows us=Physically=spiritually and

Emotionally=every day of our lives

 

What more EVIDENDE=do we need?=what more proof?=He

Already SHOWED US=His wounds (and he showed Thomas too)

 

“Believe me=When I say=That I am in=In the Father=and

The Father=is in me=or at least believe=ON THE EVIDENCE=

Of the work themselves”                                                                                                                 John 14:11

 

“Now it is required=That those=who have been

Given a trust=MUST PROVE FAITHFUL”                                                                                            1 Corinthians 4:2

 

Jesus ENDURED the cross=for us Physically=the

CROSS mentally=and the cross spiritually for us

HE SHOWED US!=his presence

 

He showed us=HIS WOUNDS=by the marks and WOUNDS

DRIVEN through his hands and feet=by the GASH on

His side=where the SOLDIER pierced him=with his sword=

Jesus INVITES US=to draw near=to touch them=Just

Like his apostles and disciples=HE SHOWED US!

 

NOW=it is time for us=TO SHOW HIM=to pick up

Our crosses daily=and LIVE FOR HIM!=let us

Show him=how much FAITH=that we have=and love

HE SHOWED US!

 

“Whoever does not=Take up THEIR CROSS=and

Follow me-is not worthy of me”                                                                                                        Matthew 10:38

 

“And having disarmed=the powers and authorities=he

Made a public spectacle=of them=Triumphing

Over them=BY THE CROSS”                                                                                                                    Colossians 2:15

 

He=Jesus=SHOWS US=his wounds=physically

Spiritually=and emotionally=now let us=SHOW HIM!=

 

How THANKFUL=we are for him=BY LIVING FOR HIM

Physically=spiritually=and emotionally=by CARRYING

Our crosses=through this life=HE SHOWED US!

Now let us=SHOW HIM!

 

In Jesus’ name=and in the name=of our FOREVER LIVING=forever loving

FOREVER FAITHFUL=Holy Father God!
