OUR LEGACY IS OUR FAITH
AND OUR CHARACTER


When people die-we OFTEN
Honor them-for their great success
In life


MAYBE a great person
Who died after
A BRILLIANT business career-
Or a life of philanthropy
Or community service


But GOD LOOKS at our
Human achievements or failures
He looks at HOW we lived
And how we LOVED BEYOND
Our accomplishments and failures


To God-our LEGACY is our faith
And our CHARACTER and how we
Came through ALL THE ADVERSITY-
Life throws at us


“For in fire-gold and silvers
Are tested


And WORTHY people
In the crucible of humiliation” Sirach 2:5


We will NOT always win
At life-and if truth-
Be known-


That IS when we will
FIND OUT-
Who and what we truly are


THESE moments of humility
These moments when we REALIZE
That we will NOT always overcome
ALL of our adversity


ARE MOMENTS
When we ALLOW God to
Work in us and CARRY US
Through the tough times of life


Our LEGACY in life
IS our faith and character
That God DEVELOPS in us
In times of adversity


“A friend LOVES
At all times


And a brother
Is BORN for a
TIME OF ADVERSITY” Proverbs 17:17


FIGHT ON my brothers and sisters
Let God help you
Develop your CHARACTER-
BE ENCOURAGED


Develop your character
In faith in God


“Although the Lord
Gives you the bread
Of adversity


And the water
Of affliction


Your TEACHER will be
Hidden no more
With your own eyes
You will see them” Isaiah 30:20


“A wife
Of NOBLE CHARACTER
Is her husband's crown


But a disgraceful wife
Is like decay
In his bones” Proverbs 12:4


It is these tough MOMENTS
Of life
That GOD USES our faith
To BUILD OUR CHARACTER


And God LOOKS on us and says:
“YES-this flawed one-
IS ONE OF MINE”


And since what
We BUILT in life
Is built on FAITH IN GOD
And our HUMBLE CHARACTER


IT will LAST FOREVER & EVER
